What about Sun-In (to go along with the baby oil)...

and, more importantly, drive-in theaters - my boyfriend and I used to go to the drive-in almost every weekend in the late 70s/early 80s!! I wish they would bring the drive-in back.

New baby on the way.
Congratulations!!!!!! Hope you have a beautiful, healthy baby. I lost my first baby and it was 4 years before I tried again. I also think about the baby I lost, I don't think that ever goes away. I am proud to have two girls now to enjoy. Take pleasure in each moment. Enjoy!
I just want him to baby me
I am a female have been married to my husband for a year and 7 months, (no kids yet) and ever since I have been married I feel like I am babying him. I am more affectionate to him, I always want to cuddle with him, always worried about him and feel like I don't want to lose him. we have a great relationship open and honost. But sometimes I want him to run after me, to show me affection, to take care of me to feel like he is scared to lose me. I want him to tell me that I wanna go out with you with out any friends just the both of us, I just want him to baby me like I baby him. what do I do? trust me I have tried talking to him, but you see I don't want to tell him these things I want him to do it on his own. I go to school 2 times a week in the evenings and I always have to beg him to pick me up from school, I want him to tell me that he wants to pick me up. how do I go about? please help.
The baby's name is
Dannylynn Hope Marshall Stern. I think the move to Bahamas was Stern's idea and I think he is sly like a fox, i.e. the main players mother and son out of the way and now the baby who he is laying claim to with the name of Marshall in there (deceased husband's name). If you are the real father, you would demand to have paternity testing- we all know this is something he has tried (unsuccessfully thank goodness) to stop. The courts supposedly giving DNA results this past Tuesday but nothing yet. It would be a big shocker if the husband who died (Marshall) turned out to be the really father, wouldn't it? Can we say invitro?
My baby Fox isn't doing well.
He hasn't felt well for several days, but it seemed that every time we decided okay, we definitely need to take him to the vet, he would improve a little.
But today my son was getting ready to leave the house and Fox usually runs after him, barking, to try to get him not to leave. Fox started barking, but he couldn't get up. He was on the carpet, not the wood or the tile. He just could not get up.
So I took him to the vet and she examined him. He has arthritis in both his knees because of the surgery he had when he was younger (for patellar luxation). We found out a few months ago that his right shoulder is luxating in the same way that his kneecaps did.
Now his left shoulder is also luxating.
He's such a little stoic it is hard to tell exactly how much pain he is in. The vet gave him a prescription for a fentanyl patch. My husband should be home in a few minutes so he can help me put the patch on. The vet shaved a place on his back for it but she said to hold it in place for 2-3 minutes so that it adheres properly.
The vet said the pain reliever might make him feel so much better that he would be running and jumping around and injuring himself worse. If he feels well, the only way we can keep him from running around is to crate him.
I don't know what to do. I don't want him to hurt. I don't want to shut him up in a crate. He would go nuts - he is used to being very active.
I don't want to keep him alive and miserable for my own selfish reasons - that I can't bear to part with him. But I also don't want to decide too soon that his quality of life is unacceptable.
I don't know what to do.
Baby sm
First of all, congratulations! You are about to experience the greatest gift on earth. I was not heavy but had a friend who was. Mind you, this was way back, as I am older, but I was surprised that she actually went on a very healthy diet which was good for the baby, and actually lost a few pounds. Check with your docs, but perhaps this will be a great incentive for you. Be positive, it will all be good! Best of everything to you and your baby.
Baby's bpm.
Hello. I just had my first real appointment at 12 weeks today and the doctor, i believe, told me the heart rate was 114. I've been trying to do some research on this but the more time i spend on the computer the more worried i'm getting. I've been reading a lot of women saying they lost their babies. The rate was much lower and around 5-6 weeks but i'm still scared. If anybody has info. about this or knows a thing or two i'd really appreciate it until i can call the doctor tomorrow. Thanks so much. =)
My baby
Buster is unfortunately not a puppy anymore. He will be 14 in January. He has some arthritis in his back legs and has what we think are TIAs occasionally, but he still runs and plays like a puppy when he gets a new toy.
Maybe you could rig that baby to
heat the house!
Baby? lol
He looks like a big baby! lol How cute, looks like he poses for pictures often. I would definitely have that one in a frame with that beautiful smile! :)
Sorry about your baby...
Losing a pet is like losing a member of the family. We lost our beloved 9-year-old black lab 4 years ago, the week of Christmas. I had to take him to the vet because out of the blue he had an episode, that he just lied there and wouldn't respond. I thought he was dead then. He came to and I took him to the vet. She couldn't find anything wrong with him, took some blood for testing. He died the next day. It broke all of our hearts and when I saw my husband cry (I had never seen him cry before in 13 years of being together), it made the hurt that much worse.
Hopefully someone will come up with 8 baby

Congrats!!
If your income isnt too much you can always get medicaid and wic (not health insurance but helps out with food and formula)
right age for a baby?
For those of you who are planning to have kids, what is the "right" age to conceive? Of course everybody will have a different right time, but I'm just curious about other people's time lines.
some relief for your baby...
Try hemorrhoid cream to the blisters...I swear it will significantly decrease the itching. My daughter was around 4 when she got the chicken pox and I put Preparation-H on her blisters and kept it on them and she barely noticed them. Please try this, it honestly will help! Good Luck...and BTW, sounds like the doctor isn't the only one that is a jerk!!! ---to your "husband"...
Poor baby!
I hope you can figure out what's going on with her.
A note on my baby
I left a message on the board about how my babies F/L was measured short and the doctor told me the baby probably had down syndrome. Well, I went to see a specialist who was very upset with the previous doctor and he did a level II ultrasound and my baby is perfect and normal. They do not measure the F/L for down syndrome. They measure the humerus bone. Anyway to make a long story short-----thanks to all who responded !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh and the baby has very long legs......
2 is NOT a baby! It's a toddler and IMO too old...
to be breastfeeding! That's disgusting for a child that old and YES I would be offended and grossed out to see a mom breastfeeding a 22 month old! I have absolutely no problem with moms breastfeeding BABIES in public, but not a toddler.
Thanks for that tip on Baby Alive!
I was wondering such! My daughter's birthday is in two weeks, and guess what she's asking for? More food and diapers for Baby Alive! Poor Baby Alive, she hasn't been fed since the day after Christmas! She'll be so happy when birthday time comes!
Baby Alive
You bet!!! My 5-year-old loves Baby Alive. We are on our second extra package of food (10 pack). The cost of diapers was getting crazy so I gave it a shot. You have to adjust the pretty tightly but $7.00 for 40 diapers is so much better than $4.88 for 6! I am wondering if you can used baking soda and water for food? Good Luck!
My Mom got my Baby Alive from
a yard sale, but I loved her anyway! I could only play with her in the backyard on the picnic table, or maybe I just chose to do so??? lol Anyhow, we had great times and I'll never forget her, ever!
Baby Alive
Me too! I will be 40 next September. Wonder what became of my original?
I'm not going to breastfeed my baby...sm
by choice. I want my husband, other kids and family members to share in the joy of bonding with the baby by bottle feeding at times and have no desire to be pumping my breasts. Our pediatrician leaves it up to the mother to decide whether or not to breastfeed, which is the way it should be. I've known plenty of kids who were bottle fed that turned out just fine.
Anna's Baby
Yes! Yes! Yes! The baby should be with the real father now.
TrimSpa Baby!!
Great for the heart...
the baby did ask to be born

I think the baby looks like the guy they showed her
the nice-looking dark-skinned man in the hat and glasses. They showed a glipse of them hugging. I think the baby looks like him. She has really curly hair and an olive complexion. JMO.
Baby daddy is by DNA
Larry is the father
Thinking exactly the same that the baby
might be getting, according to the older child, more attention than he is at the present time. I could understand him doing something like this for attention getting. Hope this works out ok for you.
Best wishes for your fur-baby
I haven't kept up so I don't know what the diagnosis is, but my diabetic cat, who was on death's door in DKA a little over 4 years ago, is now snuggled next to me. I never would have thought back then that he'd still be with me today, but he is. I had to finger-feed him all-meat baby food for about 4-6 weeks while he recovered and freaked out while I learned to blood glucose levels and adjust to his insulin needs.
He's now even become a seasoned traveler (considering he has to be given insulin injections every 12 hours and I can't leave him) and has gone on numerous beach trips, mountain trips, Civil War reenacements and Scottish Highland Games. He thinks he owns the RV now. :-)
You'll know when it's time and your kitty may surprise you and take you way past when you thought it would be.
OH! Is that a baby Rott?
xx
See, my husband is the baby...
He's the youngest of five children, with two older sisters who also dote on him endlessly. He has had some hard habits to break, but we are working on them. But mama lets us know how awful it is that we live so far away ALL THE TIME!!! Its about 280 miles for us.
I also do not believe for a minute that you are overly sensitive. To those other posters who do believe that she is too sensitive, you try dealing with that kind of a situation every time she calls or visits. Its a constant barrage of guilt along with overstepping their boundaries. My MIL also does all my laundry and rearranges my cupboards and cleans my house to her specs while she is visiting, then complains about how bad her arthritis hurts her because she did it. And then if I thank her but tell her that she doesn't have to work so hard while she is visiting, she bursts into tears and tells everyone that I hate her.
RE: Victoria's baby
I hate the thought of it but I am afraid she will lose the baby. She just said right before the accident that she was no longer going to be superstitious about losing the baby which is usually a sure sign of disaster. I think they will then find out the baby is Brad's which will mean he has lost 2 unborn sons. Regarding any other deaths I have not read anything stating that any main characters were leaving.
Baby lovebirds
Does anyone out there know about baby lovebirds? Two eggs hatched 3 weeks ago and we have these really cute chicks (they really look like chicks). The mom takes good care of them (daddy flew the coup and escaped somehow), and I make sure to provide fresh water, lots of food, even vitamin drops, and extra supplements. We have a cage for 2 birds and now that the chicks are a little older I will get a bigger one (when I get paid). Any tips you have would be great. We plan to keep these 2, and I want to keep all 3 happy and healthy. The mom keeps them snuggled under a little soft towel I put in the cage and she keeps them and inside there very clean. But I really need to take care of totally cleaning the cage for them, but don't want to handle the chicks yet, they are so young. I looked on the internet, and did not find anything specifically about this, and I have not gotten to the library for a book. Any birdy lovers if you have ideas, they would be appreciated. Thanks in advance from me and the babies.
Give that baby a BIG hug for me
He is adorable.
Here is a better picture of my baby! - sm
with his long tongue hanging out!
What a pretty baby....sm
Glad Buck got to spend time with you, even for a little while...He was a real beaut. Cat
Maybe the baby was sleeping.
I know mine all had lower heart rates in the 1-teens when they were sleeping when we did ultrasounds and listened to their heart beats. When they were awake it ranged from 130s-160s. I hope yours is okay.
Of course I was also talking to the baby (sm)
It was a Kohl's store and some of you may know they have the black carts but also have stroller carts that look almost identical...so someone may not seen the baby and may have gone and told the manager I was talking to myself and then of course he gets there and I look like glittery warmed over death...that was one of my most embarassing moments for sure!
I would be happy to take the baby. I wonder if it would be possible? sm
I live in Florida.
Baby quilt
I come from a line of awesome quilters, but haven't had the time yet to do mine. I do know that if it is a baby quilt and it is pliable enough and not too thick and not too thin you can just tie it. You know, with yarn. I have several of these little quilts left over from my own children and they are still awesome. I have two little ones that were from an older lady at my mother's church and they are machine quilted. What you can do is to make up a "trial" like just get some material the same weight and make a small piece and try machine quilting on that first. I think it is pretty easy. I want to do some tops I have, but they are big and are very old (one was pieced by my grandmother, one by an aunt. The grandma one is from about 1930s and the one from my aunt is about 1940. Then there are some from my mom and done when she was young. So, I need to set up a quilting frame and go for it. Someday, which I hope will come soon. If not, I leave them to my daughters. It is hard to keep saving them because they have to be saved just so in order to keep them from deteriorating. Good luck and don't let quilting throw you. Just practice first and see if there is a quilting club in your town. They are usually really glad to share and teach. It keeps the craft going.
What happened to the baby boy
they had last season? I haven't seen him on in a while, but Shawn mentioned him last night when he told Julia they "have 3 beautiful children"
I always wanted a baby pig
Good luck with her. We watch Charlotte's Web almost every night (my four year old loves it) so that's the first thing I thought of when I read the beginning of your post.
Pinkie - the baby pig
Pinkie is around 10 days old. I have a Chihuahua, Mione, and Pinkie is about half the size of Mione, LOL. I will get one of my older kids to take Pinkie's picture so I can post it here. When you are feeding her, she pushes her little feet around like she is kneading dough.
Baby fits...sm
I kept my niece this last weekend, and she threw one of these little tantrums I guess you would call it. She is only 7 months but she would throw her head back and buck back and forth and scream and kick. What can you do? You can't discipline them. They are just babies. I don't remember my son doing that at that young of an age. My husband was holding her because I was cooking and he said I think she is just being ugly. So he said I tell you what kid if you do that again you are getting in the playpen and you will just have to sit there and throw your fit. She wouldn't take the bottle or anything. And then the little stinker would grin. After she had just threw an awful tantrum. My sister-in-law said she started to do this with her mom too. I don't know. Maybe my son was just a good baby because he cried and all but not throwing his head back and kicking and flopping like that. What advice would you have when keeping a baby that does this? How would you try to deter them from behaving this way or can you?
your baby is gorgeous!!!! sm
I have three bassets, 12, 11 and 8 years old. I love my dogs! I'm a huge animal lover, they are like my kids. Bassets are very stubborn. It took a while to train our first basset. Our second basset (Lucy) we got when Flash was 1 year old. Lucy wasn't as hard to train as Flash was. Our third basset I got when he was about 5 years old. He was used to being outside, and he wasn't hard to train either. I'd giver her some time. They are such loyal dogs!!! Great with kids too.
an 8 1/2 yo baby-sitting a 6 yo?
that seems really young, how long are they alone before the parents get home? Next summer I am considering letting my oldest who will be 14 baby-sit my youngest who will be 11 if i find a job outside the home, but even that makes me nervous.
i'm sorry i don't have any good advice for you. if it were me, i would be tempted to take him to karate class or something so he could learn to open up a can on the brother if necessary
That's my baby's daddy!!...sm
This is my CJ's daddy everyone. He has the same face as my CJ. Awww!! If they were the same color they could be twins. CJ is tan and his dad as you can see is brindle. What a sweet picture! He looks like he is just posing for it!
I'm so sorry to hear about your baby. sm
No words can help you get over your loss, but know that I feel your pain. I have three bassetts, they are older, and no matter how long you've had a baby, it's sad to lose any pet. You are in my thoughts. You did the right thing.
My baby Cody
He's an English Bulldog, though about one of the sorriest-looking ones I've ever seen, but he's perfect in my heart.
(I hope the image loads...we'll see...lol)
YEAH baby!! Me too. sm
About 10 years ago I bought a Honda HX with prototype gas-efficient trannie, light wheels, no frills. That puppy would still be with me if not for the prototype trannie pretty much fizzled on most of the HXs but I milked mine for as long as possible.
Ex had a Prelude, same year (99). He loved the car and took great care of it. Gas was killing him though (uses it to drive and travels a bit). He wanted to keep it in the family so he sold it to me. I drive about 5000 miles a year, if that. Amost 300,000 miles on that one and what a dream it is!!!
He bought a new Civic. Another SWEET car.
My son has a 1990 Accord, bought it used with less than 100,000 miles about 3 years ago. We've put some money into it, mostly cosmetic and just catching stuff up, but it runs like new.
My Civic was actually built in US, so I didn't feel too guilty, but how many years have US automakers had to see the writing on the wall? I'm sorry, but I like keeping a car forever. No car payments are great. Honda fits that mold.
SIL hits the baby? There IS something you can do! sm
If you have observed this, you absolutely need to call Child Protective Services. You're being a bad grandma by NOT doing this. No, it's not your fault, but by not doing anything to prevent it or stop it...you are contributing. Nip this in the bud for the baby's sake!
