Role model
I just found a copy of an assignment my daughter had to do for her health class. She had to right a letter to her role model. She wrote it to her Dad. She has always been a "Daddy's girl". I am just so proud of her for not picking some id!ot hollywood brat. She just turned 15 and I can see that she really has a good head on her shoulders. She even mentioned things about they way her dad treats his mother and what a good example he is showing her on how to treat parents and grandparent. He is out of town right now but I really hope she decides to share this with him. Just had to brag a little.
A role model on what planet.
That's ridiculous.
When interviewing the "man on the street," our local channels seem to go out of their way to find unusually unsophistocated and uneducated people to interview, preferably looking like they haven't bathed in a month or seen a dentist in a quarter of a century.
she wouldn't be a role model if more of you would explain
nm
Well, I was not on a teen-role model, not in the public eye
no one was looking to me and I got myself into trouble and had more sense than to know I wanted to nor could I raise a child at my age(by the way, not 16, older). I assumed responsibility because I took care of things, did not regret then nor now and never have. She, from what I hear, did not tell her mother until well past the time she could have gotten an abortion, sounds like she wanted to be pregnant. I have absolutely no regrets about things I have done in the past.
1. SILs want you to divorce; don't; 2. Bad role model for your kids.
I would not let my kids go with them without me. I would not allow my husband to not stick up for me. I would not go near these people as much as possible. Live your life with your children. Not sure what to think about your man.
Awesome! Good service is good news.

glad to see you look at it this way! Really good idea! Have a good season! nm

Good Fences make good neighbors
You can get premade cedar fencing that comes in sections. You dig a post hole at the appropriate distance and fill with a bag of quick-crete. Alternatively, you could buy a used fence from a place that hauls away.
You could also get an electric fence, just hook to a battery and run the cord (for retraining purposes) it would not hurt your dogs.
I feel your pain. Roll up your sleeves and pray for some digging weather!
Hey hon, you can have one. There are tons of good ones out there looking for a good woman. They ain&
doorstep. Seek and you shall find. So, if you 'really' wanted one, me thinks you would have one...
All good points, good post. (nm)

where is the halloween spirit???
The person that I rent my house from made me take down my Halloween decorations... to me that's sad!!! all they were was just a pumpkin door cover, funky caution tape on the porch posts, and 3 tiny inflatable pumpkins on string. She said the caution tape made people think it was a crime scene, which is resonable if people were that gullible..... baahalloweenbug! To me it is just a holiday that makes kids happy and that is good enough for me.... HAPPY HALLOWEEN MTs!!!
I think my spirit is broken also (sm)
He said to me this morning "You can't take care of yourself, you need someone to take care of you, you don't make enough money." Well, I would probably have to work more but the fact is I make pretty darn good money considering I do 99.9% of the taking care of our children and everything around our house. Just another way to degrade me I think.
Hopefully it's a benevolent spirit! Acknowledge it and carry on. :) nm

May his amazing spirit live on - see message -
The point being lost here is that they could have euthanized him months ago because it was obvious he was never going to race again and make them any big money. They chose to try to help him heal, which I can imagine cost thousands upon thousands of dollars and would be of no financial benefit to them because he would never be able to race again. I think the owners went above and beyond in trying to give him anything they thought was a chance at a happy life back on their farm. He seemed to have an amazing spirit and seemed to be recovering well for the most part. When he took a recent turn for the worse again they made what I am sure was a difficult decision to let him go.
Although I disagree with you staying, I admire your spirit :) nm

what model do you have?
ty for ur response!
Hoping his spirit continues to run free. Amen. nm

I love having a Mary Spirit in a Martha World
I am reading the second book it is called having a Mary Spirit, love it!!!!
In the spirit of Halloween - favorite scary movie?
I'm too chicken to watch scary movies most of the time! I though Sixth Sense was good, but I guessed the ending half way through. Stir of Echoes scared me pretty good. I thought The Ring was horrible until the very end when I just about peed my pants! How about you all?
Ellen D. was pure genious in that role.
That was one of those movies where you had to try to suppress your laughing so you wouldn't miss her next line.
Oh and the model is my niece....sm
But she is like my own. I have kept her a lot since she was 5 weeks old. Sis-in-law is single and when she would date I would keep her. The child's dad is a loser. He walked away when sis-in-law got pregnant and hasn't seen Addie since she was an infant and doesn't want to even though he lives a few miles away. So I say she is better off without him.
A friend and DH.. She was a big role of Charmin.. he was the_ _ _ _. well you guess it.
Funny though...They were really big into doing up the Halloween thing
The earlobe plays a major role in foreplay
This site talks about that model.

It's the same business model as Amway
I've talked to Melaleuca people before. It's the exact same business model as Amway or any other home based business. Yes, you make some profit from selling the product itself, but your real profit is from signing other people up to do it. It's multi level marketing, which is absolutely legal..
If you're good at approaching people you don't know about buying something, then it might be good for you. Don't do into it thinking you'll sell to your friends and family and build a business from there. I've tried that with another product (one that my friends and family loved, so it wasn't like I had to work to convince them about the produt itself).
If you decide you want to do it, go for it. Be aggressive and treat it like you would any other business. You have to work it and it will take a while to be profitable. It won't happen over night.
If you decide you don't want to do it, be very, very, VERY clear to the guy. They are very persistent, borderline aggressive in trying to get you to do this. They do not hear the word no. It's not in their best interest to hear that word. Take note of his tactics and think about whether you could apply the same things to other people. If you can, go for it.
As others have said, it's a network marketing (MLM) model like the others, but also -- sm
...generally, the only folks who make decent money in an MLM or network marketing scheme are those who get in on the ground floor, or very near the start. This particular company has been around for so many years that I'm doubtful there's much money to be made at this point (except for your distant upline) unless you are REALLY the salesman type.
If you want to act as a distributor without the pressure or need to convert others into distributors, as well, you could look into something like Vitamin Power (and others), which don't require all of that nonsense. You simply sign on to be a distributor then get the product at wholesale prices, which you in turn then sell to others at a markup. In fact, you don't even need to maintain an inventory, as they'll drop-ship for you. (Case in point, though I'm a distributor for them, I would get absolutely NOTHING for bringing you into the business, and I'm certainly not trying to do that here, as you can sign up with them, or a similar company, on your own.) In any case, I'd suggest avoiding multi-level marketing schemes altogether.
Garmin is a popular model, but DH chose
the Magellan Maestro 4000 GPS portable navigational system for features and price.
He got it on Bizrate through Beach Camera.

Here's a good one.....
She is sexually inactive since being widowed by choice.
Good for you!
:-)
Good for you
Sounds like she has a good home. It just may take her time and I am sure professional help will help. We need to learn not to let them train us. I have two cats and my dog and I am sure I spoil them according to most people but right now they are my family. I am sure Tasha will not be around much longer and don't think I will replace her for a while. Would be nice to be able to come and go for a while and not worry about someone taking care of the dog. Also it is a little more work training a puppy down here on the water in a floating home. So it will be me and my cats for a while. I am also not sure I have the energy for a puppy. But it sounds like you have sure provided a good home for Miss Lilly.

good for you--sm
Puppies have a way of healing our hearts! We won't forget, but they fill that empty gap..for the other remaining pets, as well. They get lonesome too after having had a companion for a period of time. Just give them time to become friends. I am happy for you!
as an IC you need to get a GOOD CPA....
I truly do not think you can do this yourself, unless you are so business-books acclimated and always on top of things.....
I've been an IC for 10 years and an MT for nearly 30, and as an IC I always get my things CPA-ready for the CPA (receipts/bills/statements, and I write everything down once I get the receipts/bills in good order in the late winter/early spring, by March, and so I go to him with all the categories and the figures and not the receipts/other garbage). You get a percentage off for your office, your electric, et cetera. The CPA's know all the in's and out's of this and are quite helpful and worth every dime, in my mind. I used to pay quarterly taxes (about $500-750) but now I choose to pay yearly, one lump payment by April 15th and I'm all very legal!!
Best of luck!
It looks good!
And shouldn't that be rheumatiz? :-)
Good for you and your Dr..sm
That is great to hear. Our GYN office was out of the vaccine at the time of our visit, so they must either pushing it hard, or getting a lot of requests for it. I had seriously considered having my daughter get the vaccine, but after I have had a chance to think about it, I'm having second thoughts. I don't want this generation of teenage girls to be guinea pigs for something that may have harmful effects later on. And the government making it mandatory? Let's hope not.
some good, some bad
but don't you want your kids to have a better and easier life?
That's a good one!
!!!!!!
not good
according to about-to-graduate as vet daughter. As certain nutrients that the one animal NEEDS, is not in the other's food. I can't remember all of what she said, but know it can lead to deficiencies.
Good for you!
Glad to hear things went so well, and I'm sure your mind will rest easier now too.
LOL! Good one... : )

Good for you.....
So excited to read that. I would swear that is the best "diet" so to speak. Great news - keep up the good work!
Good for you
I find it very hard to believe that it happened to you and you can be so flippant about it.
Mine happened more than 25 years ago. I was 14 years old. When I told, I was branded, I was a liar, I was asking for it, etc...
How is it that a grown man can beat the living daylights out of a young girl, rape her, cut her legs with broken glass, and then act like nothing happened. How can an entire community act like nothing happened?
I still have nightmares. I can sometimes even still smell that cheap cologne he wore. I want to vomit every time I get a little whiff of it.
The next 3 weeks were the longest of my life, wondering if that monster got me pregnant. I absolutely would have aborted if he had. Either that or I absolutely would have killed myself.
I would love to give you my nightmares since you seem to be so strong. I would gladly give them up.
Good. I used to like her; but since she
came out of the closet, she has become more arrogant.
Not that there is anything wrong with that. (coming out of the closet).
