I drive from another town to see doctor. New freeways have been put into place. Told to take an exit that led to about 25 stop lights and 10 extra miles. When I got to doctor's office, I told the girl and everyone just seemed embarrassed. It was a joke it appeared.
I am a breast cancer patient, was in tears by the time I reached his office and nearly had a car accident as I was hurrying so I could see this physician.
I was not indulged. Worked since age 13. Nothing came from my family to me. After graduation from high school, it was "get married or get a job, you have to leave the house."
