No need to compare notes, she is just awful to buy for so
I told her several times to send me a list with no response. I just decided toheck with it and then finally heard from her. I told her NO problem, no list, coal and switches and I really meant mine!
Hospital stuff - op notes, discharges, consultations, histories/physicals. ER notes,

They are really fun, nothing to compare to. sm
They are about a girl from New Jersey who goes to work in her cousin's bail bonds office after losing her job. She is single and funny and turns bounty hunting into a comedy of errors. The characters are great, the books move fast and you want to hang out with them all!
They are all named in sequence - One for the Money, Two for the Dough, etc.
I can't think of anything to compare them to, but they make you laugh out loud and read very fast. So far, at the end of each one, I feel like I am saying goodnight to a new group of friends. How's that for corny??
here - you can compare all over at this website..n/m
I can compare anything I like and I like, no love, animals
She used disability payments to pay for her invitro, saying she will use student loans (hope those will disappear) to raise the children (that is not what they are for), collecting disability until that ran out, food stamps, a total wreck of a person, does not have an income, living in a 3 bedroom house with 17 people and who brought up abortion. Not me. She should have never gotten pregnant with this litter because she already had 6 other that she could not care for. Her mother (the person she lives with) is tired of taking care of the 6, much less the added burden on her with 8 more. I could care less what the faith board has to say about me. I lose no sleep over what I say. If she can ask for donations for her brood I can certainly ask for donations for my animals. I am trying to help some of earth's problems, not cause more. Forget you.
Thank you notes, etc. sm
I am experiencing this so much more now than ever before (not that it hasn't happened before). I think manners have fallen by the wayside. Also, I find that the more I have (from working my gluteus maximus off) the less thanks I get. It is almost as if they are saying they "deserve it." The have-nots in the world - make me sick - if you give of yourself, your time, effort, money, no matter what, it is imperative that you be thanked in some way. I don't even get a verbal thank you anymore, and that's a year or two after I finally see the person who got married, had a baby, etc. I have even asked them if they liked their gift and they shrug their shoulders as if to indicate no big deal. I am totally sick of today's lack of manners. Phew - thought I was the only one!!
thank you notes
I think the couple meant well and that was their form of a thank you note.
With the advent of e-mail, text messaging, et al, the art of correspondence and perfect penmanship has just about become extinct.
I still send postcards, thank you, special occasion cards and recipes snail mail....Hey, most of the things ya get in the mail are bills! Why not bring a smile to someone's face with a surprise handwritten note or a postcard from the edge.... Cat
I don't want to compare war stories, but I know exactly how you feel. Last year, on my way to vis
family member out of state, I was alone with my 2 children on a major US interstate. As we were leaving a big city and began accellerating, we immediately came to a stop. I almost rear-ended a trailer in front of me. I looked to my left and across the median (a grassy, hilly median) there was smoke, a tractor trailer on the side almost tipped over, and a manged Ford F-150 lying across the highway blocking all oncoming traffic. The accident had happened a minute earlier. I swear you've never seen a truck to mangled. The top was missing, it looked like a convertible, and under the tractor trailer lying face down was a young man (a teenage boy), just under the tires. IN THE TRUCK was a young boy who was apparently sitting in the back but half of his body was in the front. He was twisted like a circus acrobat. Going in and out of consciousness. And the driver of the Ford walking around bleeding in a daze trying to wake up his brother under the tractor trailer. Only 1 person had stopped, and for some reason my instincts told me to immediately pull over (I was in a large SUV with 2 kids in the back - what was I thinking?), but it was a godsend.
So, I go over to the boy in the truck and begin talking to him. He's still breathing. Barely. I lay hands on him and begin praying for him like crazy. Apparently, help had already been called. By the time I was finished the fire trucks and police had arrived.
I walked over to the boy under the trailer and he SITS UP! I thought he was already dead.
I spoke with the driver and they were all 3 high school students on break for lunch. He told me he was in BIG trouble because he took his dad's truck and wasn't supposed to. He knew his mom's work number and called her and I walked away as he began telling her what happened.
I was there for approximately 30 minutes. the police and fire dept. were so kind to me asking me for every little detail I had, which was none since I didn't witness the accident. When I arrived to my destination that night (shaking and crying almost the whole way), I looked on line for information and found NOTHING. Still to this day I have not heard anything about the accident. Not sure if the boy in the truck made it, but I did pray so hard for God to save him. I didn't care that I was bending over his body as people all around me were looking on at the accident scene. It's an experience I will never forget.
I came home and wrote about it in my journal and it took about 10 pages. I still have nightmares of seeing the boy under the trailer lying face down first. But then I think about how he sat up and I feel so much better. It will take time, but the wounds will heal.
how ignorant to compare lice with neglect.
It's merely a case of misinformation or improper education to her family on how to treat the problem, in no way is lice infestation and lack of getting rid of them completely a sign of neglect.
Maybe this mom just plain doesn't understand how to get rid of them completely or perhaps there are other things going on in her life that this isn't getting dealt with properly. They need support not ridicule as some of the posters have said - obviously since you've been there you should know it isn't as easy as people think to get rid of them.
to compare insulin with antidepressants is ridiculous..nm

to compare insulin with antidepressants is ridiculous.
Studies have shown that antidepressants can cause violence and suicide.
Doctors have become reluctant to prescribe antidepressants.
From my notes at the meeting.
in America. Category 6 is 4% or 4 million people dead. We have a stock pile of Tamiflu/Relenza which is about 50 million. I may seem like a lot, but, how many people live in the United States? By the way, the people who are sick get Tamiflu first and then government people and all their families, then second group are doctors, pharmacists, health care workers and their families and so on.

in America. Category 6 is 4% or 4 million people dead. I do not think the numbers will be high, especially like in H1N1 flu in 1918. We have a stock pile of Tamiflu/Relenza which is about 50 million. I may seem like a lot, but, how many people live in the United States? By the way, the people who are sick get Tamiflu first and then government people and all their families, then second group are doctors, pharmacists, health care workers and their families and so on.
How rude. I always get thank you notes for baby and
Maybe its where you live or something. Old customs are dying and I think it is sad. Like when someone passes away, we always take food to the family. The last time we did this, my daughter noticed there was no other food there. It was sad, because food is the laset thing you want to have to worry about or plan when you have a house full of people and a funeral to plan and attend. Sorry, got of the subject there!
I'm a NYC girl and always write TY notes
However, I now live in Florida and I must say JUST ABOUT NOBODY HERE sends a thank you note. Though, I did send a gift to Queens NY and never got a thank you note from the wife.....a shy passive Jackson Heights lady who married a friend of mine - I sent a lovely gift and never got thanked by her. And they live in Long Island.
So, I think it is not just NYers/northerners - I think this problem is rampant. Oh, and my Hispanic friends also don't send ty notes nor do their kids (Florida residents). Nor do in-law relatives from Europe.
I still don't get it....
for now, keep quiet, observe, take notes.
nm
this is why you should keep quiet, observe, take notes....

the rude thing was to ask if he was slow and to compare him to her "sorta retared" (sm)
grandchild - and to call her grandchild "sorta retarded" is rude too! I think maybe she's the one who is slow!!
Or...take notes from Dwight from "The Office" (sm)
Dwight Schrute: Yes, I have decided to shun Andy Bernard for the next three years... which I'm looking forward to. It's an Amish technique; it's like slapping someone with silence. Dwight Schrute: I was shunned from the age of 4 until my 6th birthday, for not saving the excess oil from a can of tuna.
SHUN THE OFFENDER!
Christmas! Op notes or discharge summaries?? LOL
