to the dark cloud of brokeness. Congratulations on that - if nothing else, you'll have much better health in the future.
I'm getting pretty low on cash, as well. I've been supplementing my anemic little paychecks by raiding my savings for the last 3 years. I had some credit card debt after moving and some major vet bills, which kept going up even though I paid $100-200 over the minimum each month. Turns out, those buggers had raised my finance charges (for no reason!) from 9% to 29%. So, I emptied out the remainder of my savings, which was just enough to pay off the credit card, which I will most likely never use again. (I now use just my checking/debit card... limits me to spending only what I HAVE, which also saves me money.) So, that smarty-pants bank now doesn't have my money in the bank anymore, and they also won't be making any more finanance fee profits off me anymore, either. (Way to go, banks!) Just think -- if everyone took their savings out of the bank, paid off their credit cards, and then no longer used them, we could put those sorry SOB'S out of business. Since my life is already pretty much of a mess, I'd love nothing more than to sit back and watch the chaos a total bank collapse would bring. Then the rest of the country would have to live like we've already been doing for the last 5-10 years or so.

You don't want your lining building up (sm)
without shedding. That puts a woman at higher risk for cancer, nevermind the heartbreak of not being able to conceive again.
I've gone longer than a year without a period because of PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) in my early 20s. It's not normal and it's not good.
I'm not sure how your post was helpful to her. She has suffered miscarriages--to tell her not to worry about her irregular cycles is not going to particularly help when she really wants a healthy baby, and for that she needs some cycles, and she will worry until that time comes. (Then she will be worrying about her baby during pregnancy.)
There's a company out there making them with a sheepskin lining

Yes! Let's start by stopping judgement of the 8 babies!
Some below are making me "sick" - they are innocent newborns stuck in a horrible situation, and their 6 older siblings are probably even worse off. The mother is inexcusable, but the babies and children? Come on, I have dogs but to compare them to animals? Talk about paying it forward - some people are paying it backwards! Open up your minds! These are innocent little human beings! Pay it forward and stop judging them, they have enough on their little shoulders. I'm so angry right now at some of these posts! I pay it forward every chance I get and I will for the rest of my life. Letting these babies into my heart is one of these things I am doing today. The mother is another story, she needs other "kinds" of help. Poor kids, poor babies!
Runnin errands and shopping with my mom on payday and then stopping.. sm
for lunch. We always had the best day. She would always pick up little things throughout our stops for me or my brothers. Lunch was always full of girl talk and laughs. She passed away last September... Oh how I wish I could have one more lunch and girl talk day with her.
Has anyone lost weight from stopping diet sodas? (sm)
Read yesterday about how diet sodas have been found to actually cause weight gain and was curious if anyone has stopped diet sodas and actually lost weight?

Picture of Silver
Here is a picture of Silver. I got Silver for my husband 12 years ago for Christmas. My husband passed away last year and Silver was his baby.
Silver is beautiful!
I'm very sorry for your loss, I know this time of year is hard...
Keeping tabs and silver platters
I'm in my 50s, but because I'm female and usually travel alone, I make sure someone in the family knows what plane/train I'm on or the general route I'm driving and I call them when I get there and when I get home. Usually, I just leave a message because it's roaming minutes on the cell, but they know I'm OK. That way, they don't worry without cause. Should they ever have cause, then they can tell the cops where to start looking for me.
On another note, perhaps your son doesn't value what he's been given because it has been given to him on a silver platter. I didn't have a car until I could buy it myself. I had small scholarships to a private school, but my dad paid most of it - and it cost the same as buying a new car every year (which was not his style). If I had pulled anything even vaguely resembling what your son did, I'd have been pulled out of school at the end of the semester and brought home to find a job I could walk to in my little rural town. I'd have been paying room and board at home, too, until I found a place to live. When I came to my senses and came crawling back to dad for help, he might have cosigned a loan to send me to the regional state school in the next town over, a fate worse than death. I knew for a fact dad would do this if I got out of line or got bad grades, so I made sure I never did.
US GOLD/SILVER WOMEN'S GYMNASTICS!!!
WOOHOOO!!!!! Way to go!!!!
I don't know about you, but if I could look like Tina Turner at her age, wearing the silver suit,
I would not complain. Yeah, she is a little bit slower, but her legs still look great and she can still strut her stuff in what looked like 4-inch heels.
I say silver. Will they be playing music by Deep Purple at the wedding? lol
