We have him!

Yes, another post on my dog. DH and I drove three hours, expecting to meet our next dog, Trey. The breeder brought Trey and another dog named CJ. Trey was beautiful, gentle and sweet, but I found CJ's personality irresistable. He is 6, while Trey is 5. He was never a show dog, but he was sold to a family as a pet. The family returned him because he howled if left alone. So his upbringing makes him more ready to come in and live in our house with us. He and Sasha are getting along fine, I'm happy to say. On the ride home, he was lying down with his chin on the dog bed, while Sasha used his back as her pillow, as if she were watching over him. Now that we are home, they are both happy to have had 2 short walks already since I got up early and then work was low. He has some tricks I've heard of in Siberians, but never had with the first two. For one he counter-surfs. He stole 1/2 stick of butter off the counter that DH left, still in its wrapper. I heard something and went out to the kitchen and found CJ lapping the butter paper. He is ravenously hungry all the time. He attacks his dog food like somebody might take it. We are used to nibblers. So we are learning new things about living with Siberians.
