We got rid of our landline.

We have 3 cells in this house (mine, DH's, and DS's) the girls know how to use them and know all the phone numbers and our address. We do have that locator feature on the phone..that if you dial 911, they can locate you.

We live pretty close to neighbors and the fire station too...we could run over to the firehouse/ambulance station faster then 911 could dispatch them!

that's why I still have a landline.
It's about $20 a month and it almost never gets used. But it's there if we need it.

What are the drawbacks to having no landline?
Say you go to cell phone only. What potential problems could you run into?
