Vet job is depressing.

I had to cut back on my vet job hours now that the kids are back in school, which is probably a good thing since I want to take all the strays home with me.
We've had 3 kittens since they were 2-3 weeks old for a couple weeks now and they were doing okay, not fabulous. Well they got a nasty intestinal bacterial infection and one died Monday and then one died this morning. I've had them at home with me so they can have more care and it was so sad to see them die. We're all keeping our fingers crossed that this last one makes it. She had been the smallest but she's doing good today. Keep your fingers crossed for her!

Yes, and I'm finding it very depressing.
I find myself having to make lots of pasta dishes because pasta is so cheap. I am single but 16 yo son lives with me and you can imagine how much he eats. It's really discouraging to be on such a strict food budget. Just seems like money doesn't go far at all these days. :(
Anyone agree the show is getting very depressing?
I used to love this show, now not so much. Merediths' mom dies, Meredith's, step-mom dies! Meredith almost drowns/dies. George's dad dies. Wedding is canceled at the church. George fails his exam. Izzy's boyfriend dies. Adele hemorrhages and miscarries. This is getting a little ridiculous. And the finale I thought really stunk. I was looking forward to something great or *happy* for a change. I don't even know if I'll watch next year. Maybe they'll kill off the characters one by one until there is no more show? lol
