3 movie must sees...sm
The Great Debaters (Denzel Washington), Bucket List (Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson) and I Am Legend (Will Smith). I'd like to see your reviews. Cat
loved this movie!!! Keanu
Reeves is SOOO HOT. Great story too. A little confusing to follow at first.
Loved that movie too. Realistic view of women.
xx
Aww! I loved that movie. Worst yet was Eyes Wide
Don't worry about it being too sexy. You won't be awake for those parts. The movie will put you to sleep in no time.
Critics hate the movie, but love her. Movie way too contrived, but so

The Boy Who Sees Through Sound
Its on TLC and repeating right now about a 14-yera-old who lost his sight to cancer at a young age, but he "clicks his tongue and can see" its AWESOME and if you get a chance to see it on repeat, I recommend it
I am so glad that someone sees this
besides me - my SIL had the nerve to call me selfish - like he has any idea how much I gave up for DD before he came along. Right now I am waiting for an apology from him before I do anything else. This was over me not being at a baby shower his mother was giving because I have to work.
Am I only the one who sees it differently?
I think your daughter has every right to be upset. You just took in a stranger (and let's face it, he's an adult) and took away your daughter's friend. Is this 18-yo working or still in high school? Did his parents ask you to house him or did he move in because he didn't want to go with his parents?
If this 18-yo is working and didn't go with his parents because he didn't want to live with them, then he should be adult-enough to stand on his own two feet. Your daughter comes first. At 16, I had girlfriends staying over almost every weekend. Why should she have to give up her "childhood" because of this stranger. Perhaps this 18-yo can visit his parents on the weekend, so your daughter can have her friends over.
As an aside, if this 18-yo continues to stay there, then you should sit both the 16-yo BF and the 18-yo down for a long talk. It's obvious his parents aren't doing their job and they've just left it to you. I think there's more to this story then we're getting here (and I don't mean that to be rude). It's very noble that you would take this 18-yo in, but you need to remember that your family comes first. Good luck to you!
He probably sees his reflection and is
defending his territory from the "other" bird.
Love my feathered friends. What kind of woodpecker, do you know?
Anybody see the movie Sicko yet? Important movie!

I have a psych doc who sees a lot of kids...sm
with encopresis. He *insists* that we type poop, pooped, pooping, etc. I just love typing things like: "The patient has not pooped his pants since the last visit."
Makes me feel soooo professional. (Not!)
Right?! It's like what the last thing a mouse sees.
14 pounds eh? She's just big boned! Those vet bills are killer, aren't they?! Our boy, Norman, the MaineCoon look-alike who went missing, twice had crystals or ash in his urine that required 2 emergency vet visits and catheterization or else his bladder would have ruptured. Those bills combined were over $800...and the darned cat was a STRAY we picked out of the dumpster of the apartment building we were living in at the time. Nosiree...ain't nuthin' for free I tell ya! They are so worth it though and I really do think they appreciate all that we do for them.
My sister sees a chiropractor and
the main reason she has to see him is that she sleeps with her arm over her head! He suggested she stop doing that, but she said it was the only way she could sleep. He said, "Okay, but it sure is making me money!"
I also remember a friend who would aften wake up with bruised knuckles and she didn't know why. She finally woke herself up in the middle of the night after she threw her hand over her head (again!) and cracked the headboard with her knuckles.
You might consider sewing cloth straps to your jammies, both the hem of the top and the long sleeve wrist fabric. Then you could tie them together before going to bed. At least with one arm. :o>
Yes, probably the only person on here that sees hypocrisy
Yesterday my husband mentioned about my spending quite a bit of money on the kittycat food. I asked why did he mind and he said I was spending our money. I asked him where he got that from. I consider my money mine and his his. I make my own, never use his and the same for him. You do know she had a high priced job before, don’t you. Quit hating on the first lady.
like a cow, he does what the guy in front of him does; sees it in the media, thinks it's real

Does that make sense if the doctor sees patients?
My mom is supposed to get a hysterectomy. Her PCP has referred her to a doctor - she was looking him up in her directory to make sure he was covered under her insurance.
I'm so confused! ha
Maybe if she sees the baby, she'll decide not to have it sucked out of her and thrown away like t

Intervention, Parking Wars, and Cheaters are our "must sees"
We TiVo them so we can watch them together when I'm not working. I'm a sucker for reality shows that depict people in precarious situations (or trying to argue their way out of a parking ticket, lol!!!).
Loved it!!!. nm
Ha Ha
I loved NC
I was 20 miles north of charlotte. I think NC is a beautiful state. I would love to go back some day to a metro part of NC.
We have had them and loved them...
got my daughter one when she was about 13 (she is 25 now) and she has had 3 others since. Ours were all descented, though they did still smell some, but just gave them baths, which they love! We got such a kick out of watching Tinker (our first one) run throughout the house stealing socks and hiding them under the couch. Never had a problem with them, they sleep most of the time, ours were never aggressive towards us. Our cat and ferret got along wonderfully. Just like anything else in a cage, you have to keep it clean, but that is to be expected.
Me too and I loved it. nm

Loved.

Loved my mom, but.... sm
Sunshine, when I look back, I wish I had not taken what my mother said as gospel. I would have used my own discretion as to right and wrong behavior and SHE would have to grow up and accept it. You know in your heart what is right and wrong or you would not have asked us for advice. Your Mom needs your love, but you also need to be your very own person. You have a new life now which includes your husband. Do it for him, go with him and if they don't want to go along, tell them you will look forward to celebrating with them next day. In the meantime, they can "be your guest and have a good time until you get home." You take care, be strong!! All the things Mom teaches us are not exactly the right thing to do. Be fair.
Loved it!
These things happen all the time and we have to laugh at it. Just read your local newspaper for more. We are wordsmiths, so we have to have a little humor now and then. We were celebrating a birthday, an anniversary and something else all at once, so we asked to have "Happy Occasion" written on the cake. We had a terrible time getting "occasion" spelled correctly by those behind the counter. Blame the school system, not the cake decorator.
LOVED IT
although it was sad, it was very funny in parts, and had an awsome ending, can't believe the reviews were so bad, favorite movie since The Holiday. Loved seeing Denny from Grey's Anatomy in it. And yes, I need a poster of Gerard Butler now on my wall, LOL!!! My new fantasy man.
Loved it. Thx

Yes and I LOVED IT
I loved that show--how you doin.. Heehee
My dog is very much loved thank you ---
what I mean is that I will never, never get rid of him so that no matter how much he irritates me by marking up everything I have in the house, chewing up my things that he can get to, scratching up my hardwood floors, pulling down my curtains when he wants to play, then I have about 10 more years of headaches because I love him dearly and he is not leaving this house!
So don't feel sorry for my ball of fur - he is very spoiled and very much loved!
I loved 4H
But could be because my best friends mom taught it and we were all together all the time. I have to admit the most I remember about 4H was learning to can food, basic nutrition, I knitted my first pair of slippers, but at 48 its been over 30 years, so I don't remember much, just that I had fun and learned stuff. Here in our town (now on the west coast) they do have 4H groups around. But nice to know there are other 4Hers out there.
P.S. - Not sure if you remember that girl scouts went like this - brownies grade 2&3, junior grade 4, 5 & 6, cadettes 6 & 7, seniors 8 and maybe 9 (can't) remember. Now there are so many branches and I get offended when they call say you have brownies and then girl scouts. I consider all levels girl scouts. Well its been over 20 or so years since I've been in girl scouts too so lots have changed.
loved it!
Thanks and Amen!
I did and LOVED it
I just love all of them, and thought they all looked great. I still watch their original MTV series DVD and laugh myself silly.
I'll keep watching it (provided I remember when it's on...I have a terrible memory about that kind of stuff!).
That made my day, I loved it !!...nm

ooh, your's too - I LOVED YOUR POST....
I too have friends of ALL denominations - so whose is right?? I think much of it is myth....the adam and eve story whereby if woman was made from his rib, then men should have 1 less rib than woman, right? WRONG....my plastic surgeon (who I work for) confirmed that both men and women have 12 ribs.......
so that adam and eve story was shot to you-know-what once he said that to me....
oh and he's a religious Jewish person *LOL*
I loved reading this. sm
I also read it on the Comedy board and shared it with my Bible School class. Will share wtih my adult Sunday School also.
Loved the original. sm
I haven't seen this one yet, but I will. A couple of columnists have said that it is not as good as the original. One said J. Travolta was fabulous but the rest were just okay and not as good as the musical. Someone else said it didn't seem to live up to it's hype. I guess to each his own.
If you really loved me, by Ann Rule. sm
she writes true crime books, really excellent writer, one of my favorites. However, I need to mix it in with chick lit, recently finished The Devil Wears Prada. Had the Nanny Diaries on my mp3 player (I thought the stories had a similar tone). Also like Michael Lee West book Mad Girls in Love, because it takes place in Tennessee, and she had some familiar places in it. Want to read some of her other stuff.
I loved them both, but get the books
and then nobody will have to talk you into seeing the rest of the movies, LOL.
Plus with the movies you don't get into Harry's head as much, and that's where you get to know Harry. I can only imagine that people who only see the movies don't know him nearly as well as the readers do.
just curious - did you see any of your loved ones? sm
i too kinda believe in reincarnation. mom my swears my daughter is my sister reincarnated. odd, but lots of similarities.
I loved the first couple of those they did but since then
it has gotten just too cutthroat for me, and the people they have on there are not likeable enough to make me want to root for any of them.
Loved, I agree (nm)

Loved all these fun movies sm
You had Joe Pesci correct. I am not a person who swears a lot but he swears so much, it gets hilarious. Of course, I watch him with no kids around. He swore so much in Casino that I was laughing all by myself. Husband and I are getting older, so we joke about Python's skit - Bring out your Dead! But I'm not dead yet! So hilarious! Thanks for the laughs. No offense meant by the swearing, I just love Joe Pesci, loved him when he was ordered by the court to live in his own slum houses. I am sure he's a much nicer guy in person. Thanks for the memories.
Wow! I loved all the replies!
What a bunch of great things everyone did! Really cool. I don't mean to brag about us MTs, but I do think we are a cool bunch...lots in common too! From loving Wii and video games and fun and intelligent TV marathons to everything else listed. It is so nice to know we all have so many things in common and that we are all "out there" keeping each other company! I remember being an MT not so long ago before the I-net, and not even really knowing anyone quite like me.. now I don't feel so alone rather feel quite in good company! Thanks for writing and keep letting us know what you did, and or are still doing. Kind regards and thanks again the Holiday MT. :)
My dad has always loved butterscotch, so...sm
I thought this sounded like a good desert to try for him. It has been a long road for me and my dad, but now that my mom has passed he has been a real "rock" in my world and I am so grateful to have him. Hope he likes it! Thanks.
loved the game
I watched and LOVED the game - I really didn't care who won - I rooted for both times - love both quarterbacks. . . totally enjoyed the whole thing - even most of the commercials. . my fiance isn't much of a footbal fan, so I mostly watched by myself - used the game as an excuse to have lots of snacks.
have always loved your name - got you beat
on age - but my Ipod goes from Creed to Peter Gabriel to Staind to Paul Rodgers and in between Lonestar and Indigo Girls and Oh, my new favorite song - the theme from Saving Grace by Everlast! It is so much more convenient than the CD player. I got a little shuffle cause I wanted to start slow and make sure I could work things and I'm doing fine.
Oh, thank goodness, I loved seeing her but
my heart just broke to see her sit there, apparently getting passed by and so wanting a forever home. I have not seen the ad yet but will be so happy to see that precious pup again.
I did the same thing and LOVED it!!
Or, just use 2 pillows, one for under the belly, one between the legs.
HA HA HA - loved your comments
Perfect...lmao here....I'm going to cut you off, I hope you believe that. HA HA HA....too funny. I can tell you've got a great sense of humor and also a wonderful outlook on life.
Oh, I loved Sommersby...sm
Definitely one you think about long after it's over. Hated Brokeback Mountain, though. Not a love story by any stretch of the imagination, just Hollywood pushing the envelope.
I loved my Sheltie...sm
But he wasn't the best with kids, even though we got him when he was a puppy. I don't know if it was just his personality. He was okay with my kids, but he didn't care for other kids when they visited. Just thought I'd throw in my 2 cents.
