Vaseline
Our doctor's office recommended using Vaseline. You apply it all over the head and hair, wrap with Saran Wrap for twelve hours and then wash the hair. Of course, you will need to use dish soap to get it out. Everyone who did this said it worked. Also helps when you get them clean is to put a little vaseline along the hairline as the little buggers can't attach themselves with the Vaseline there. Hope it helps. Good luck.

A derm guy once said not to waste money on fancy stuff, so a few nights with socks, gloves and Vaseline helps. I know about the heels, ruins my blankets, etc., not to mention socks or stockings! Not too romantic but who cares!
You can see if they will like Vaseline off your finger.
Yup, regular old petroleum jelly. Some animals will lap it up like a treat. Or you can scrape it off your finger onto the roof of the mouth and they can just deal with it, LOL. (The guy who invented it ate a tbsp a day and lived to be about 90).
There are also cat foods that are specially designed for hairball elimination.

Use Dove bar soap to get the Vaseline out.
My daughter got into a jar of Vaseline when she was two years old. My pediatrician suggested Dove bar soap. It worked like magic! Hope this helps.

About the socks
remember that they need to fit appropriately (proper graduated tightness getting looser at the top)or they can do more harm than good.
Elevate whenever you can ... maybe try to switch feet with the pedal so you can take turns getting each leg up.
I had that trouble for awhile (b4 doing MT work), but it went away. No idea what the deal was. I have always been thin and rarely use salt.
P.S. - Overnight we jumped to 3.70.

How about staying overnight at somebody's house
or even in a hotel, and not being able to figure out the shower controls. I don't know why a shower fixture designer would be so mean as to hide basic controls, but one design that has stumped me turned out to be a little ring that appeared to be a nonmoving part of the faucet, that had to be pulled upward. If you couldn't find it, you couldn't get the water to go from the lower faucet up to the showerhead. Furthermore, all the control it gave you was on or off, instead of being able to control water pressure.
Sheez, why the secret? It's not as if it is even an attractive design!

I know, I know, it isn't even winter yet as my husband would say. It's in the 50s outside and my feet are like ice. Right now I have them buried under the heating pad. Can't use a space heater because then my room gets like 110. Any ideas for some nice, warm, nonbinding socks as tight socks make my legs and ankles hurt and just plain drive me nuts.

Yeah, she lets pans sit overnight from cooking
sandwiches or eggs and then uses them the next morning to cook the same or she will just wipe them out with a paper towel and call them clean...no way! When she lived with us, I would have to get to them before she had a chance to use them the next morning on the kids before I got up!

My feet get so dry they crack and bleed, summer or winter. It takes me about 3 days of sleeping in sweat socks, but it works. Also I swear by anything with shea butter in it, especially anything from Bath and Body Works rocks!!!. I also swear by Gold Bond Ultimate Soothing skin therapy lotion. It has shea butter in it too and it rocks too. There is no real smell to it so if you are allergic or sensitive, then this will work.
I wonder if we could somehow augment our MT salaries by being spokespeople for these companies. LOL.

Food safety question - left chicken in oven overnight (sm)
I baked two pans of chicken last night and one of them I forgot and left in the oven all night. It has not been touched or opened since being cooked. If I reheat it today do you think it is ok to eat or would you be afraid of food poisoning???

I am a successful WW-er, having lost over 75 pounds. WW allows you to have all your favorites, but in a sensible fashion. There is no food category that is not allowed. That's the key for me. WW trains you in how to eat with healthier food choices and it is definitely a lifestyle change as regards food choices. Of course, as with any weight loss program, you cannot return to eating whatever you want in unlimited amounts once you have lost your weight. You must continue to take the tools you were taught and use them each and every day with your food selections. I would definitely recommend attending meetings, though, as accountability is always helpful in staying the course.

We always alternating Tylenol and Motrin every four hours. This works better than giving either one by itself. I put him in a tee shirt and his underwear and use cool compresses on his head. Hope your little one is better soon!

I used green tea patches in the past. They don't sell them anymore (probably because it was too good and you'd have to get an Rx), but you can still find them at sites on the internet. Also Hoodia is really awesome. I am taking Hoodia 2 a day and the pounds are just flying off. It is something from cactus discovered that the natives take in the jungle for stamina and to keep fit. It is not expensive at all. I got mine on e bay but found it and also green tea pills at Walmart not expensive. I have had more energy and feel better since I have been taking these 2 things and total cost for the 2 was no more than 25 bucks for the month. Sorry I don't know about the product you asked about but I wanted to suggest to you some cool things. Good luck!
