Two months is quite a short amount of time....

You need to take your time and keep YOUR options open! You may meet Mr. Right while you're seeing this guy. In two months, you probably don't even know his favorite color yet. Don't rush these things. If he is the one, he will figure it out and not want to see anyone else. Good luck! I hope this works out for you.

If you are going to be in the house such a short time sm
You will build up almost NO equity with a 40-year mortgage, and may have to sell it at a loss. Something to consider....
I liked mine & so did baby but only for a short time (sm)
To me, it was really only good when the baby was very young. I never tried to use it with them sitting up on my hip or anything like that. But when they are tiny, those things are great. Also keeps the wind off of them :-)
If you consider SIX MONTHS "extensive testing time"
That's how long the FDA evaluated this vaccine to approve it!!
This is from a great FDA article that gives a lot more information. I'll include the link below.
"The manufacturer has agreed to conduct several studies following licensure, including additional studies to further evaluate general safety and long-term effectiveness."
I can't believe that some of you people would be okay giving this to your daughters when there is NO evidence or studies on long-term effects of this vaccine!!

I also cooked mine for a short time and then put them in the oven and
from time to time would baste with sauce. I had the oven low and cooked them slowly and they were wonderful. My family just loved them when I invited them over for dinner. You made me hungry for them. It has been a long time since I made them. Mine were not fancy, just good!!! Good luck!
I worked for them for a short time and line counts never added up. sm
Check the archives. I proved I was cheated lines and quit without notice. They were taking my spaces, cutting them in half and only paying that amount of lines even though required to double space after periods, etc. Software was comparable to Ext. This was 2-3 years ago though.
short arms, short-term memory loss...
I too suffer from Short Arm Syndrome. Add to that the short-term memory loss that middle-age brings and I have now discovered I need to lasso the &*%$ reading glasses around my neck or my day will be spent wandering in circles asking the dog where my glasses are.
I have two pairs, per advice of doctor. I do not wear glasses all the time, so he thought I was not ready for bifocals. My son gave me a wonderful eyeglass case for Christmas that is big enough to hold both pairs should I ever venture out of the house amongst the living.
I did manage to find some "sporty" looking around-the-neck-eye glass holder thingies - what DO you call those things? I'd use twine before getting those multicolored beaded ones. I have a neon coral one and an emerald green one. Too bad I can't find the former, I can't remember where I put it.
For that small amount, can't you take
xx
Such a minute amount but what I was
saying anyone who has a huge amount on their card really cannot stand to take a chance with not paying on time- I am sure would not have a problem having it written off- they love me because 2nd time I have paid off totally and always on time (not this small amount though) and the last time over 10 thou paid off. I will probably call them anyway.
Would never give this amount sm
withot consulting my spouse. I think it's kind of sneaky on his part, that's a large amount to keep from your wife. I would be fuming and think you have a right to be flaming mad. I don't know about the cheating aspect, she probably found an ear to bend and drives him nuts but he won't admit it. She found herself a Santa and he's probably sorry he did it. See how it goes. Next time he has an appointment, if it were me, I'd hang around the parking lot, but that's me, I'm not sure it's something you would want to do. I certainly would!
Re the amount of effort
OMG - I had two teenagers who were 19 months apart. Yes, it was hard and sometimes I just had to turn my head and pretend that was not my child. The effort and sacrifices are great, especially at prom time and when they start driving. I am glad I had mine young. I think it helped me get through it. I do believe that kids/teenagers are going to get in trouble for something. That's their job and it is a way of life. I just tried to put myself in their place when I was that age (I did much worse things actually). That is also another reason why they could not get by with much. I had done it all and knew what to expect. Even so, no matter what my kids ever did and whether I trusted them or not, I always let them know and told them I loved them more than anything all the time (even if they had hurt me). I gave them my all and taught them to appreciate it. I put them through college and they put themselves through grad school. I was not sure the youngest would even graduate high school. They always knew I loved them with all my heart and I believe most of the time that pays off. One day all that effort and sacrifice will be worth it.
Yes. The formula is you say, "You have X amount for
When she runs out, she does without until her budget allows more entertainment money.
It isn't about the money, though. Her issue is with learning priorities for needs versus wants.
You've waited a little late if she's 22. My boys budgeted their money as mid teens and as young men do great.
Kids usually learn spending habits from parents - by example or by allowance.
Apparently they are setting a certain amount you can use and if you go beyond that they can
either disconnect you for a year or charge you for the extra that you use. This is Comcast. I expect all the internet companies will follow suit so many are saying the internet as we know it is now going to change and become more expensive to use and we will only be allowed a base amount of usage for our flat fee we pay and beyond that we may have to pay extra for however much more we use in increments. Time will tell what happens I guess. What can you do.
a question of amount of effort
If I had to do it over again, yes.
But I am having a hard time seeing where the amount of sacrifices I made is paying off in these "teenage years."
I think the payoff for being a good enough parent just might be raising "good enough" kids who become "good enough" parents, so you don't end up raising your grandkids....(and end up with a second chance to get it right).
Maybe good money for the amount of hours sm
but no enough for what actucally goes into the job.
Smaller total amount of more feedings?
Have you tried feeding him more than 2-3 times a day and just putting a smaller overall amount in the dish? He might think he's actually getting more.
Do you have dirty dishes or excess amount
of trash that needs to be taken out?
We did lose some money, but not a huge amount
We have three different ones that we've been keeping an eye on.
When amount of this for social security people and when?
Do you have a link for this info, pls.
Try Alton Brown's suggestion for the amount of
grounds to use. As he points out, you can always dilute. Here is the article:

1 oz. cheese: size of 4 dice
Medium potato: size of a computer mouse
2 Tbs. peanut butter: size of a ping pong ball

great post! - only a difference in amount of melanin
the only difference I see is the amount of melanin in the skin........BEST of luck to you - Enjoy it while you feel it!!!
It's ALL good!!
We didn't even spend half that amount on each of our kids.
Of course, our kids told us about their spoiled rotten friends who all got electric guitars, multiple gaming systems, flat panel TVs for their bedrooms, cell phones, mp3 players, etc. Then the little boy from across the street came over and told me what he got for Christmas, which wasn't much at all. I felt so bad for the little guy. If I had known they didn't have much, I would have bought for his family instead of my 25+ family and friends who don't even need anything. I refuse to buy into it all for my own kids. If they want all the electronics, they can work and save up for it, and then only with my permission. No unlimited Internet, no texting, no M, R or T rated movies and games. I just don't believe children need all that junk. DH and I grew up just fine without it.
i know it is wearing on you but the recommend amount of timeout is 1 minute for each year of age.

Larege amount of horses at packing plants/feed lots
coincidentally happen to be TBs. They are a huge throw-away market. Once they are done racing, unless they are one of the incredibly lucky few to be adopted out to knowledgable homes for other careers or are of breeding quality, they usually don't wind up in too good of a place afterwards. I'm a nobody, and I've had 3 of these throw-aways land in my lap. Yes, there are some responsible owners/breeders who ensure these animals are taken care of for the rest of their days, racing career or not, then there are an awful lot of others who see them as the cash crops they are and nothing more.
Definitely short ones
I love in Fridays when my doc does all his patients that were tested for allergies that week.
Short. Not in the least bit Jewish.
x
hopefully this will be short-lived
I'd still send pictures, etc., especially to your grandparents. Good luck!
My hair is very short right now.
Short layers and all I have to do is spray a little hairspray on it and run my fingers through it and I'm good to go. It has gotten much thicker over the years and hair color has helped with that too. I hate that I have to color my hair, though. I started going gray almost 20 years ago and I just turned 40. At some point, I will bite the bullet and let the color grow out, but haven't gotten there yet. Not ready to be totally gray.
My hair is short
When it starts to get even a little long, I have to go out and get it cut. I don't like the way my hair or the way I look when it gets too long. I just put some gel in it and go. The only thing I don't like is that it can get dry in the sun. I've been dying my hair for about five years or so (46 now). I won't let it go gray, but that's just me. My daughter is only 4 so I feel I would look like her grandmother if I let it go gray.
My 8 y/o is a size 5, but she's SHORT...
for her age! I really hope she grows into her feet soon, looks like she has clown feet :) She's only 4 ft 3 in., but has some of the biggest feet for her age.
I have only seen short segments
as I am flipping through channels and man, is that show filthy! Is the story line that good?
Long and short of it -
While I can appreciate his desire to stop spending so much time in his car, I think the solution he is suggesting would only be very good in the short term at the most. The reality is you all probably need to sell your house and move closer to his job.
I always wanted to be short in HS, like
most of our little cheerleaders were. Now I see my height as an advantage, and i have to admit that even my freakishly long arms do come in handy. Funny how priorities change ...
My dad short-tempered and
was always yelling and pounding tables and children about the dumbest things, and mom was cold, bored and depressed, so it's hard to say.
It's so hard to shop for Mother's & Father's Day cards!
for short people
why is it the one item i need is on the very top shelf so far back i cannot reach it?
Life is too short
Unfortunately, life is actually way too long to be very, very poor, old and alone, and if you can't get along with anyone when you are young, you are not going to be that hot of a catch at the nursing home.
my short list
Milk
Liver
Okra
Tofu
Indian food
Thai food
Sushi
my short list sm
Lima beans
soft-cooked eggs (where the yolks are too runny and the whites aren't quite firm - and forget any with the shell accidentally left in)
fishy-tasting fish
Chicken/turkey liver (beef and deer is okay)
raw onions
big gobs of mayonnaise (a little in salad is okay)
tuna without celery.
I did it about 3 years ago for a short while.
I quit because it was too much of a hassle. I had to buy the magazines, brochures, samples every 2 weeks plus get orders in every 2 weeks, plus I had to deliver with baby in tow, but you could have them pick their orders up at your house but with so many reps in this area, I had to be competitive. My friend I buy Avon from was having problems the company not sending the right orders, getting things mixed up etc etc. It is just a mess for her so she dropped it.
The pro side of it was that when I sold Avon I got pretty good bargains being a rep. They send a What's New brochure every 2 weeks. There are people here that order merchandise and open their own store and sell it that way. I don't know if they are making profit or not. I do think the real money is in recruiting people to sell like other MLMs. It really doesn't make sense to me to do things that way though. It would be like having a shoe store selling Nike's on every corner. Just doesn't make sense.
wow. several months for TAT...wish we had that!--nm

Nine months later?
That's unreal. I would be interested to hear his explanation after your phone call. If you cancelled the appointment you should not have been billed, much less that amount. Good luck with that one!
Definitely let him do it. It's only for a few months.
It must be awful to spend that much time driving every day, and gas is so expensive right now. Just let him do it. It's only until spring, and it will make things so much easier on him.
When my son was 9 MONTHS old SM
we lived in South Carolina, and his daycare center asked me to sign a form giving them permission to spank him if he misbehaved. He was a BABY and they wanted to spank him! Holy Cow! I refused to sign it and took my son out of their daycare, but it was legal there (this was 14 years ago...not sure what the law is now). But I was shocked.
I'm not anti-spanking...I just think only a parent should be able to spank their child. Definitely not someone who doesn't love your child and who may be too heavy handed.
Chickadee
They are now - it took several months for them to
get like this. Whenever one is curled up sleeping, the other will slink over and rest their head on the other one. :)
my son will be 11 in a few months
and never had anything like this. He's very forgetful and seems to lack common sense the last year or so. He also likes to turn his back and put his head down when he doesn't like something but hsn't cried in a long time unless he's hurt.
It sounds to me like maybe other kids (or someone) is telling your son he is fat or maybe making fun of him with clothes and that's why he suddenly changes his mind about what's cool and what's not.
I know my son is really starting to look at the high school aged kids for direction on what to wear, haircuts, etc. The long hair, no shower, messy look. We have had a talk that we understand he is growing up and with that comes priviledges but also he can only "grow up" so fast and he's not 15 or 16 and will not be treated as such until then. We have also told him at his age it is our job as parent's to make sure he is clean, fed, gets good sleep and grades, has clothes, and a roof over his head...and with that means we will make sure he takes a shower and makes himself look presentable. Long hair is fine, messy-look is fine...but rolling out of bed and tossing wrinkled clothes on is not - until he's 18 and then he can do what he wants.
Maybe you could sit down and have a talk with your son and ask him about why he's so emotional and changes his mind a lot. Could also call the school guidance counselor (even anonymously) and ask if it is normal behavior or might be signaling something more going on. They are really the experts on behavior at that age and for some reason many kids will talk to them when they won't talk to their own parents.
I have been seeing one the last few months.
I was a skeptic for certain. My husband ended up in the hospital with back problems and all the doctors would do is prescribe him meds to alleviate the pain. He started going to a chiropractor looking for relieve. It took a while but they helped him tremendously. After that I decided to give it a shot. The past few months I have been going weekly because insurance would pay for a certain number of visits in a year. Now that the year is renewing I have told my chiro that I am cutting back to once a month, or as I feel I need it. I will continue to go just not regularly at 1-2 times a week. She saw nothing wrong with that.Like you I can definitely tell a difference with less stiffness, better range of motion, better sleep, etc.
okay - found it - short story
this year it is too late. They are in the house for the winter and laying next year's crop in your attic - supposed to spray outside the house eaves and foundation included in the fall to prevent any new ones.
Life is short. Who knows what could happen? Go for it! NM
