Yes but found they get stained easier
the more you bleach them, kind of like once you start it you have to do it all the time. The teeth become porous from the bleach and then just grab color/stains, especially if you drink coffee/cola. Sort of like when you bleach hair. Just what I have observed.
That stained concrete is really pretty
I have seen myself but I have a hold out on that. He is now talking about the granite and I feel it would be too slick. I made up my mind this morning am gonna get slate (with whatever else I decide for the other rooms) put down in my master bath. I have it in the foyer right now and it is gorgeous, real attention getting. We bought something shiny at Home Depot that we can put on with a mop and the floors just glisten. I will run the concrete by him again but do not think he is listening too much to that.
glass
You can find them alot of places. Crafts stores carry them, Wal-Mart, and any store that pretty much has a craft section. Check them out.
For me, there is nothing like a glass
or two of merlot after a hard day at work to relax!

Painting on glass surfaces
Ok, here is my problem. I bought a beautiful set of China in a magnolia pattern, stunning, for little of nothing. I then was able to get some platters, 4 bowls, salt and pepper and the like from a replacement China company but no where can I find a gravy boat. I have been looking for about 2 months. This is what I had thought of and perhaps someone out there has done this. I have a white gravy boat that I had thought of buying paint to decorate the outside some to make it blend in with my set that I will be using Christmas. Has anyone done any China painting like this or just painting on dishes and what kind of paint would I get. I do not want to have to finish with processing it afterwards, just a 1 stop painting and drying deal. Thanks.
Now the question is, would you like a glass of water?
Water or Coke? Could not believe this..... Very interesting
WATER
#1. 75% of Americans are chronically dehydrated. (Likely applies to half the world population.)
#2. In 37% of Americans, the thirst mechanism is so weak that it is mistaken for hunger.
#3. Even MILD dehydration will slow down one's metabolism as 3%.
#4. One glass of water will shut down midnight hunger pangs for almost 100% of the dieters studied in a University of Washington study.
#5. Lack of water, the #1 trigger of daytime fatigue.
#6. Preliminary research indicates that 8-10 glasses of water a day could significantly ease back and joint pain for up to 80% of sufferers.
#7. A mere 2% drop in body water can trigger fuzzy short-term memory, trouble with basic math, and difficulty focusing on the computer screen or on a printed page.
#8. Drinking 5 glasses of water daily decreases the risk of colon cancer by 45%, plus it can slash the risk of breast cancer by 79%., and one is 50% less likely to develop bladder cancer. Are you drinking the amount of water you should drink every day?
COKE
#1. In many states the highway patrol carries two gallons of Coke in the trunk to remove blood from the highway after a car accident.
#2. You can put a T-bone steak in a bowl of Coke and it will be gone in two days.
#3. To clean a toilet: Pour a can of Coca-Cola into the toilet bowl and let the "real thing" sit for one hour, then flush clean. The citric acid in Coke removes stains from vitreous china.
#4. To remove rust spots from chrome car bumpers: Rub the bumper with a rumpled-up piece of Reynolds Wrap aluminum foil dipped in Coca-Cola.
#5. To clean corrosion from car battery terminals: Pour a can of Coca-Cola over the terminals to bubble away the corrosion.
#6. To loosen a rusted bolt: Apply a cloth soaked in Coca-Cola to the rusted bolt for several minutes.
#7. To bake a moist ham: Empty a can of Coca-Cola into the baking pan, wrap the ham in aluminum foil, and bake. Thirty minutes before ham is finished, remove the foil, allowing the drippings to mix with the Coke for a sumptuous brown gravy.
#8... To remove grease from clothes: Empty a can of Coke into the load of greasy clothes, add detergent, and run through a regular cycle. The Coca-Cola will help loosen grease stains. It will also clean road haze from your windshield.
FOR YOUR INFORMATION:
#1. the active ingredient in Coke is phosphoric acid. It will dissolve a nail in about four days. Phosphoric acid also leaches calcium from bones and is a major contributor to the rising increase of osteoporosis.
#2. To carry Coca-Cola syrup! (the concentrate) the commercial trucks must use a hazardous Material place cards reserved for highly corrosive materials.
#3. The distributors of Coke have been using it to clean engines of the trucks for about 20 years!

With those big leaded-glass windows the builders put
in, it's kind of hard to hide when the lights are on inside and you are in the LR. If I'm in my office and DH isn't in the LR either, I just peak out to see who it is. I may have to replace that dumb front door, but the window in the door is the only window in the living room. Stoopid builders.
How do you get stuff off glass stove tops? SM
I have tried the white creamy stuff from Sears, where I purchased stove. That doesn't get everything off. One site suggested a straight razor, but since I type for a living, I am reluctant to use one (except when shaving legs!).
Any tips? Please? Thank you.
Oh, Miss Perfect, people in glass houses
It sounds to me like her daughter turned out just fine. I'm sure there are a lot of skeletons in your Christian closet so should keep hypocritical mouth shut, I'd say.
I love my electric ceramic/glass cook top, but
you have to clean the darn thing and keep it clean!!! Its not as hard as taking the electric coils out of the old one and cleaning it. You can turn it off for the last 5-10 minutes of your cooking and it will still be hot just as hot and cut electricity that way!!! DO A LOT OF COOKING IN A SLOW COOKER.... you can even bake in a slow cooker. it costs 2 cents an hour!!!! The oven can cost up to $5 depending on what kind you have!!!
Split up what you have and stagger the pieces, play with it, add some glass, and/or start
