He might eventually be more but for the time being
his estate will have to pay off any and all debts, not his family, not kids, but his estate then afterwards, $40 million to have to pay off is nothing to sneeze at. Sure in the long run could possibly have more money in the till but right now he died broke. Even the place where he was living was paid for by the company backing his comeback, thousands a month for that.
Poll time ....do you exercise? sm
I make sure that I walk at least 1 mile 3 times a week. It's not as much as I should exercise but it beats nothing. What about you?
This is really too much! Misdiagnoses are increasing
at an alarming rate. Sue for emotional distress!
Holiday/Christmas catalogs increasing...sm
Are we the only ones who have received already a large amount of Christmas/holiday catalogs in the mail? My goodness - there are companies we've heard of, many we haven't heard of and our mail lady is bringing half a box full every day! Is it just us or are the mail-outs increasing this year?
a rapid weight gain without increasing one's calorie intake
so much that it would justify the weight gain, is an indication of water retention.
It does eventually.
Sometimes it seems like the updates take a step backward but as long as the people editing are consistent, the system will get better. I've been using it for 3 years now.
it's sickening, I know and eventually we....sm
I am certain eventually in Florida (south) - we will have the same - I already know that Home Depot here has self-checking out/cashiering ongoing......I knew 10-15 years ago that cashiers were going to be slowly faded out in this country......and that we will check our own things out from stores
BUT....CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ALREADY DOWN THE TOILET in S. Florida by the way.....sorely lacking here for 25-30 years.....
this just adds to more lousy customer service....2 words which I think MANY PEOPLE (in the field) just don't get.....CUSTOMER SERVICE - think about it....we are the bread and butter on these people's tables - and they ACT like they are doing US a favor....OH I HATE WAL-MART!!!
That may be true eventually...
but so far, I have not found it to be the case. My second is only 3 months old, though, and so far, two have been far more work than just the one. The youngest is really not old enough to play yet, so I spend a lot of time keeping my 2-year-old from trying to "play" with the baby.
No he won't know you in particular viewed him. But eventually you'll probably want him to add
to send messages, pix, etc. He won't know how many times you look at his profile. That way you can see who all his My Space friends are, too! Sometimes I will be in my office typing and I will send a My Space message to my son in the next room telling him to come here rather than yelling for him.
Eventually, those girls will have their day of reckoning - sm
and it will be their turn to die and cross the *Rainbow Bridge*. As the story goes, before you're allowed to cross that bridge into Heaven (or whatever you perceive the afterlife to be), you are greeted by ALL of the animals you've ever known in the world, and they get to speak for or against you. I'm sure that kitten, and probably lots of other animals before it, will have a lot to say, and those girls will be spending THEIR afterlives in the Other Place.
Just about everything ends up on YouTube eventually.
The news is important. I recall I did not have a T.V. signal during 9/11 and it was 9:50 AM PST by the time I realized what had happened. I felt I had been sailing through the day when I should have been feeling dispair, and that was strange.
During a break, on 9/11, I opened up AOL and two a pic of the Twin Towers with smoke pouring out of their sides, just a small pic and I nearly did not read it.
I think you are making a mistake and son will eventually resent you for that (sm)
He should at least get a chance and not be held accountable for something someone else did. It is definitely very unfair to him.
My thoughts are that things will eventually settle down, but --
I agree that when he graduates if he has his own family now then he should be on his own and supporting himself and the family that he is making. I would not support him anymore.
I am sorry that you are having these problems. I had war with my first mother-in-law for 20 years (not my doing) and it makes everyone miserable - I understand. Just give it some time and she will settle down. She is just seeing how far she can take things now and if your son gives in to her, that is the way it will be for life.
I had a dog missing for about 2-3 weeks and someone took him in. Eventually called me from big poste

An exercise to try
Try putting one leg up across the other one and lean forward, leaning back and forth, then switch legs. That is supposed to help with that sciatic nerve kind of thing. Hope it helps you. It does me. Hope you feel better.
exercise
Have you got a dog?
I've got a 120 pound Great Pyrenees (kinda looks like a polar bear). I run/walk with him a coupla times a day...before my 6 a.m.shift, lunch time, after my shift is usually the longest walk, then again before bedtime...We just wander around the woods....If he smells a squirrel fart and I'm not looking directly at him he'll trip me up or pull me in a ditch/sinkhole. Also have a 12 lb cat that walks with us and tries to "sneak" the dog (hides in the bushes and darts out sitcking his tongue out as if to say "Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah! You're on a string and I'm not!). Keeps ya on your toesI
It is cheap and quite a workout. Cat
Get some exercise
It will help tremendously. I start to get tired if I go more than a day or two without running on my treadmill or hitting the weights at the gym. It will help tremendously. As someone else said, it might not be a bad idea to get your thyroid checked out.
Looking for music to exercise by - sm
I received an iTunes gift card for Christmas and am looking for music I can download to my iPod to exercise by. I'd really like exercise-specific music that includes a slower song or two for the warmup, then a steady faster rhythm for 30 minutes or so and then another slower song for the cooldown.
I suppose I could create my own list, but it would take me way too long to figure out 30 minutes' worth of songs with the same basic rhythm!
Any help sure would be appreciated. I'm so tired of feeling guilty every time I walk past the treadmill that I just "had" to have.
The exercise thing is probably right on...
I have had oodles of tests to rule out thyroid, anemia, and even Lupus and Lyme. I did get something positive on the connective-tissue studies but never followed up on it because of financial issues and not feeling all that crappy to worry about it. However, now that you mention it, I did feel better when I was walking down my road in the warmer weather, so that may be it! I do get exercise doing chores, but it's a different kind of exercise...not the "me" kind I guess you could say. I've got some DVD by Leslie Sansone that does a mile or 2 miles and I think I'll give it a go. Can't hurt, right?
Thank you so much for the advice! Always helps to have a second set of eyes to look at something in a new way! It's much appreciated!
exercise question
I am 48 years old, been sitting on my rear for years doing MT. I have exercised for years, but always sporadically. I don't need to lose weight, just need to tone. I'm so flabby, it's disgusting. I have recently taken up walking/jogging, but admit I can only jog for about a minute, then have to go back down to walking, then after I've caught my breath, can start jogging again, and so it goes until I've done 2 miles. I'm hoping to build up my endurance to run farther soon. My question is, is this really a good overall exercise to help me tone? I'm also using free weights for my arms, and I can actually see a little bit of a change, but it's happening very slowly, which of course is to be expected as it took them a long time to become unconditioned. Anybody have any advice? Thanks!
exercise question
Thank you very much! I appreciate the tip.
How much exercise have you had in the last 3 weeks?
The kind of exercise where your rib cage actually has to expand as far as it can go?
That kind of exercise causes relaxation, and relaxation is an antidote for anxiety attacks.
I was also helped by learning relaxation with biofeedback and I also take Effexor. Not everybody can take that though.
I sit on exercise ball .... sm
and I balance just fine with foot pedal. I dont' sit here for eight hours on my ball. Sometimes I switch out my chair and my ball. Just depends on how my bottom is feeling. I too sometimes sit with my leg folded under my other leg while working, but that's not good for your veins. I have really bad vericose veins (that's another story!)
good luck!
You can but no one else can? Exercise those rights

exercise equipment.

Exercise tapes or CDs
Does anyone use any exercise tapes at home that they like? Thinking of getting one but there are so many. I need to tone.
I know diet and exercise are important as
well as cutting out sugars, bread, etc. I'm doing that and have been for a while. Please keep your comments to yourself. I'm asking a simple question about a "certain named product"- is it that difficult to answer without stating your "opinions" or telling me what supplement you use? I don't remember asking for your recommendations?
Do strict low carb of 20 a day and exercise -
That weight will come off and you will be well on your way by August if you do cardio exercise and also do weightlifting. I lost 20 pounds on low carb 4 years ago and have kept it off, though I normally eat around 50 carbs a day now and NO refined carbs whatsoever. You have plenty of time. You can do it!!!
you will not lose weight without exercise.
nm
yes, exercise will definitely make a difference

Exercise with him or sign him for karate or something like that. Needs to do

exercise helps tremendously
even bike riding on crisp days is a sure way to feel alive again. On cloudy days it brightens my day. I hope you find your outlet :)
Same one every year - exercise & eat healthier!

I'm wondering if anyone has experience with this. Exercise. sm
Okay. I am overweight by about 30 pounds. A week ago I got back on the treadmill and started walking/jogging for about 20-30 minutes - 5 days a week. This is week 2. I'm very motivated. Will get on the treadmill in a few minutes. I'm not seeing any results. haha Don't laugh. I know it's early, but here's my question and dilemma. I have NO desire to change my eating habits. None. Zilch. In fact, don't tell me I have to do it because I won't. I don't eat a whole lot, I just eat whatever I want. I don't eat late - not after 6, usually. I do like an occasional Coke. I like chocolate. I otherwise eat healthy, but until Jan of this year I have done NOTHING in the way of exercise for years. Just kept having kids and sitting on my bum.
When can I start seeing results and do you think that I can see results by working out this much and NOT changing my eating habits. It's a psychological thing. I can't do it right now. I just can't. And what makes it worse (the eating part) is when I fail (which is EVERY time) I beat myself up afterwards and feel worse than before. With this jog/walking thing, I feel GREAT. I feel more energy already and I actually am enjoying the time alone doing it.
Anyone have experience with this?
They say "If your dog is fat, you're not getting enough exercise!" :) sm
I have a somewhat-tubby Border Collie and a normal Australian Shepherd. Aussies are "self-feeders", meaning they only eat when they're truly hungry, but the Border Collie would eat a cow if she could get her mitts on one. I need to get a handle on her diet, I know.
I walk them, but it's prolly not aerobic enough. We stagger down the street from bush to bush and I can see my neighbors shaking their heads, saying "He must drink, my dear. Oh, yass. Probably mops the stuff up. Why, just look at him stumbling around, right out in public! Poor Mrs. TechSupport - she must have the patience of a saint!"
Exercise really helps. At least an hour a day. Gets those

I thought it was very interesting. Quite an exercise for the mind:-)
Wouldn't the exercise of free will also include
his right to determine what is and what is not a "sin" for HIM? Is he also not free to determine that the relationship is irreversibly doomed because it got off on the wrong foot? Do you think a therapist can or should talk him out of that? Is that a better way to launch into part 2 of the affair?
It is possible, since he clearly stated it was "the hadest thing he ever did," that he is not and will not get past the pain it caused for both of them. Why does wanting a fresh start make him into a Mr. Milquetoast who needs therapy?
Bottom line here. If it's not right for HIM, then it's not right for THEM.
Wouldn't exercise work just as well? My arms tone up

Okay gals, who has a good exercise to reduce the old thighs? I have...
an elliptical machine and a Pilates machine. Don't really have anywhere to walk in our area (too rural, too many crazy drivers, and bears!) so that is out of the question. I have The Firm DVDs, have not tried it yet. Would love some suggestions to get rid of the jiggle and saddlebags!
Exercise, take a walk, jumping jacks, crack your window, do something

Get some exercise videos/CDs from your library or video store and do at home. Need to do SOME

A lot of prisoners have TVs, exercise in the yard, play cards, etc. Just depends. However,
for me I would rather die. What is life without the freedom to even go for a ride in the car or stop for coffee, walk in a park, etc.
fast walk/weight lift/exercise machine only way to tone

I do occasional exercise & treat myself to good chocolate. I'm not completely agoraphobic,
