So sad...Happy and laughing and joking about the fall and apparently about an hour later essentially dead. I had always heard/read nothing but lovely things about her. I hope both of her boys handle this as well as possible, particularly the one that was on the skiing outing with her.
I'm curious to see if it was the actual fall that caused her death or if she had a preexisting, undiagnosed condition that perhaps the fall triggered. Just seems like such an inconsequential fall to have caused such devastation. I realize things like this can happen but still...

that happened to your daughter. It is a prime example of why they need adults to do the thinking for them sometimes.

I live 20 minutes from VA Tech. This is so tragic. My son is a ......sm
junior but he goes to Roanoke College and still lives at home. I called him because I wonder if some classmates he graduated with were involved in today's tragedy. I feel sick inside. We take way too much for granted.
