I wouldn't even know how to cook it.  All I see in the stores here are these teeny little lamb chops that contain maybe an ounce of meat and they are WICKED expensive.  Never having cooked it (or eaten it) before, it's too expensive for me to screw up or not like.  We have a deer farmer down the road who let me try some deer tenderloin and it was gross.  Too dry for me and had NO flavor.  I actually like my meat with some fat on it.  I drive the butcher nuts requesting pork roasts with actual FAT on them.  It's the only way to make good gravy doncha know! 

I actually learned what "chitlin's" were (I don't know how to spell it) on one of those Food Network shows....I think it was when Alton Brown went on the road on his motorcycle to some southern places.  Yeah, can't say I'd be willing to pop that down my gullet at all.  Despite having Ellie for a pet, I do love pork though. 

My dad, um, "did time" in a prison down south for what has always remained a mystery, and he was a cook there.  As a fearless kid, he was the one who would feed me weird things like pigs feet, pickled watermelon rind, jambalaya, fried chicken gizzards and hearts, the calves liver with bacon and onions, all sorts of seafood, cheap caviar, and even escargot, which of course grossed my mother and older siblings out.  He was a fantastic cook.  A bonafide mental case, which is where I get my streak of craziness from, but a darned fine cook. 

it was frozen, from New Zealand....I just cradled it in my arms like a baby for a minute....$54.98...so I put it back in the freezer for the rich folk.

You'd really like lamb...it's got a very sweet taste.

Now, about the deer tenderloins....whoever served them to you didn't know how to season them correctly, bkz that is the best part.. Cat

They cut production to get the prices up again. If we're not _____ by the oil nations, we're ____ by the American oil companies. G-R-E-E-D is the name of the game in the last few years.

Government tells us to cut our driving. Well, I hate to tell them but between a pickup and a car, we drove a total of  5,838 miles last year, and most of that mileage was 100 miles a day for DH to go to work. I get to the store once a month anymore, 2 mile round trip. The only thing I can cut down on is to walk to the store and back. Been there done that, but I'm no spring chicken and carrying 5 bags or more, well....you'd see a bag every 100 feet.

My car broke down this afternoon!  I heard a loud noise like I had run over something, pulled over and saw all the coolant and water pouring from my radiator.  The fan broke and a blade went into the radiator.  I pulled inrto the nearest repair shop (lucky for me one was really close) and they gave me an estimate of $1200!!!!  My husband had it towed to a mechanic he uses, but I am curious since my car is a VW how much should it cost to get this fixed??

We have a produce store right down the street. They sell dairy, meats, breads, snacks, canned good, but the produce is what I go for.

Bananas are usually 3 lb. for $1, red peppers in the winter are 2 for $1, green 3 and sometimes 4 for $1, packaged radishes 3 bags for $1, lemons and limes 6 for $1, apples are $1 a basket, and globe tomatoes are 2 pints for $1. Fresh white mushrooms are 99 cents a pound and portabellos are $1.99 a pound (expensive in my eyes but fresh). cukes 4 for $1.  They have fresh zuchini, egglant, yellow squash, yellow and orange peppers, asparagus, fresh herbs, you name it. Oh, they did up the price on lettuce and celery. They used to be 2 for $1 and now they're $1 a piece. They sell potatoes loose or by the basket, usually no more than $1.50. A 50 pound bag of red or white potatoes last week was $11.95.

They also sell bread at 2 loaves for $1.75. It used to be 2 loaves for $1.25.

I love this store but if I don't get there as soon as they open, I can't get in. It gets packed and there's not a parking spot to be found. Gee, wonder why?

So I've got this thingy set up to "alert" me whenever my "handle" comes up or the name of the company I work for--and it shows this wacked thread!  

I'd love to see a woman in the White House as well, but definitely not the one currently running.  There's something about her that just rubs me.  Oh yeah, the fact that she's still married to that dickhead for starters. 

I'd vote for Ellen DeGeneres...female, gay (really frost the republicans behinds!)...and most important....A FRIGGIN RIOT!   I'd love to believe that the world's problems could be solved with humor.  It'd be fun to see her give it a shot though.  Jon Stewart would make a great vice president.

If I were president, the White House would have a petting zoo, the rose garden would also have petunias in it, macaroni and cheese would occupy at least 1/4 of the food pyramid.  Camp David would be open to the general public.  All UFO information would be declassified.  Political correctness would be outlawed and greenbud would be legal.  Lastly, public schools would have classes on manners, school uniforms, and corporal punishment...but I guess that goes back to my pervy private fantasies again....
