Think that depends on the size of the baby - sm

my first was 7-1, second 8-3-- I do not remember any pain/discomfort after #1 (37 weeks) (except from the wonderful discovery of hemorrhoids from giving birth-they weren't there prior to the delivery) even with the 2 stitches from my slight tear and the D&C. Don't think they had me up and walking until the next day (day 3) though, my delivery was at 6:30pm, D&C at about 10pm-- was in for 4 days. #2 daughter though was a bit bigger (41 weeks) and I ached some for about 2 weeks. I was up and moving that day - morning delivery-10am - and was just fine - not running any marathons of course but able to walk fine, probably moved slower than I had to just to be careful.

A lot will depend on size of baby & how your body accommodates birthing sm
My daughter was 5 lb 3.8 oz, and afterwards I thought Wow! That wasn't so bad, why does everyone say giving birth is so hard? Well, my son almost 4 years later was 7 lb 13.8 oz and had a 14-in head circumference. It was a difficult delivery to say the least, although I did not tear or need an episiotomy with either one. I do still have other lingering problems due to my son's birth even 8 years later, but I will deal with them for now. The pain afterward for me was worse from the tubal I had the next day than the delivery itself.
Just my size!
I'm not advertising for the name brand... just stating a fact
I don't mind underwires, however. I do tend to look for "full coverage"... I don't wear skimpy tops and if I did I wouldn't want it to look like a butt on my chest!
Anyway, with full coverage, underwire or not, I've never had a problem falling out, ever. So, that would be my only suggestion. I don't really have a preferred brand, just a style preference. I've got everything from Olga/Warner to Victorias Secret to Walmart and K-mart specials. If it fits, covers and I think it's pretty, I get it!
My 15 yo son is 6Ƌ and in a size
16 shoe, and getting ready for another growth spurt. I can always tell because for days he complains his legs hurt and then all of a sudden he is taller and shoes hurt his feet. Buying shoes for him is soooo much fun because when he finds shoes he likes, they usually go up to 13. Found a store that carries them up to size 20 now. I feel like I am going boat shopping when I take him shoe shopping. I was thinking of writing Shaq for leftover shoes....lol. My 13 yo daughter is 5ƍ and in a 9. Here I am at 5ƈ and a size 6 shoe. Daughter is looking into modeling but son is too tall for it they say.
What size is this?
My sister-in-law weighs about 300 pounds and is about 5 feet, 6 inches tall. I would like to buy her a nice pull over, but I do not know her size and I don't want to ask. Does anyone out there know what size this would be. I am guessing at the weight compared to my husband's (her brother) which I already know. What's the favorite store for plus sizes? I saw Lane Bryant was closing some stores, but are there any other good stores?
Plus size
I would think if she weighs 300 lbs and is 5' 6" tall, she wears a size 30, or 4X. If she's a little over 300 lbs, I'd get a size 32 or 5X.
I would also try to shop at Catherine's, CJ Banks Woman or Lane Bryant. They're better quality and last longer than the things I've gotten at Fashion Bug or any of the others. I do buy underpants and plain t-shirts at Walmart.
Catherine's is my personal favorite for both the styles and the prices.
If you're not 100% sure of her size, a gift certificate would be a safe way to go.
Oh look, they're having an "up to 70% off sale" right now!

Plus-size dresses
My friend is getting married in August and I need to find a dress quickly! Can anyone recommend a designer with a line of plus-size bridesmaid dresses? I'll require a size 14 or 16 depending on the fit (probably 14).
Also, I realize this is late and I may have to buy "off the rack" or via internet versus using a bridal shop. Any recommendations in the Philadelphia/So. Jersey area?
Noticed your plus-size??
I hate to be the one to tell you but the average size now in the states is a 14. I in no way consider that plus. Oh, to be a 14 again. See shoulda checked before hand- now that is not politically correct because it makes us hefty girls feel sad!
My DH had one on his shoulder about that size
He had to have it removed and did well afterwards.
My 17 yo DS wears a size 14...
my DH and 19 yo DS wear size 12. There are lots of big-footed men in my house, and I'm constantly tripping over their enormous shoes.
You can't do anything to keep their feet from getting bigger. Just get to know places like DSW and Zappos!
My 8 y/o is a size 5, but she's SHORT...
for her age! I really hope she grows into her feet soon, looks like she has clown feet :) She's only 4 ft 3 in., but has some of the biggest feet for her age.
You mean in clothing size? 12 to 14? nm
.
Try going up or down in band size.
For example, try a 34 DD or a 38 C. When you go up or down in band size, it changes the size of the cups. I ended up having to do that and you'd be surprised how different the cup sizes are when you adjust the band size.
That bathroom's about the same size as

great selection, comfortable, plus they have workout clothes.
By small, I mean size 7 or under. I only wish I was.
xx
Why are big size shoes always
Short people don't have big feet, tall people do.
I have seen clothes that were like size....sm
20-something. I thought any store that carries plus sizes would carry up to very large sizes. At least that is what I thought. Maybe I am wrong.
...myself. Actually a size 12 but still too large around the middle. nm

I don't remember my dress size
being asked on any job applications. Are they supposed to be able to tell over the phone? Of all places to say this - around a bunch of people whose employers have, for the most part, never seen them!

Average size woman
Just heard that the averge size woman in America is 12 to 14. Finally, I am above average in something.
average size of women
I belive this used to be the average size when I was a kid in the 50s and early 60s. I remember helping my mom shop for dresses and patterns for dresses and she wore a 12. My mom looked no larger or smaller than most other women those days even though she was small boned and wore petite size or whatever it was called then. Of course, they could have changed the way they figure sizes since then. She looked healthy and normal.
What is the weather, What is the price, size, etc. sm
I am freezing up here. Would love to be able to buy and not rent.
Maybe they are tired of the "fashion" for +size sm
If you are not overweight, you have no idea how hard it is to find fashionable clothing that fits correctly for a reasonable price. And if they are younger women you are seeing, they probably do not want to wear the shapeless clothes and muumuus that every store offers for larger women. They want to wear what everyone their age is wearing. Unfortunately, they can't find it in their size, so they buy too small and wear it anyway.
There are as good looking clothes for + size as
for the smaller sizes. Check out the shopping channels, QVC and HSN, same price for small and then the +sizes. No reason for looking tacky and wearing clothing 4 sizes too small, just none at all, sorry.
I was posting above and have found that being a size
20 myself, I do the majority of my shopping on the shopping channels. I do not care for any clothing at Lane Bryant and lots of the other stores might have the bigger sizes but most dull until you get to Catherine's. They are more expensive so except for my black jeans at Kohl's (Gloria Vanderbilt) I buy almost exclusively for blouses, sweaters, coats, etc. from the shopping channels. The clothing is all the same price for very small as well as 3+ and very pretty.
Wow, $35 is a great deal for a tree that size!
Where I live that would easily be around $150!

oops, well I guess I failed - i have 2 children, although do have second generation middle class values.
Junior clothing size conversion..
How do you determine what size a junior 15 would be in misses? How do you convert that? Just trying to get an idea.
Thanks!
My downies vary a lot in size, which confused
me for a long time because I thought the larger ones might be hairies. The more I read the more I realized that hairies are significantly larger. The hairy we had yesterday was even bigger than a red-bellied with a very long, sturdy beak. There is really no confusing them up close. From a distance it is more difficult.
I have at least 3 red-breasted nuthatches this year. I just looked out and there were 2 on the tree eating suet and one on the wire watching the other two. They are so cute.
You'd be smart not to bother getting newborn size.
The baby would be out of them in about 2 weeks from what I remember, so much better to get the next size up.
Here's another shot that shows his relative size.
Yes, he is missing his tail. This species uses the tail as a single-use defense mechanism (where, when threatened by a predator, the lizard goes one way and the tail goes the other), and it does not grow back, unlike some other species.
I've found them to be close to the same Misses size,

God, that is horrible as well. They should let someone 100 times her size stomp her and choke her.
.
Check the file size... it might be a very small JPEG - sm
so that they'll download/upload faster, and won't overwhelm the website with huge files. To get a less-grainy photo, try asking your daughter to email you the full-size file so you can save it to your computer for printing. For the best print quality, you want lots of pixels.... for example something like 1200 x 1800... to show the best detail. Then use your photo-editing software to make it whatever size you want for printing.
When I save photo files to my PC, I usually know right away which ones I want to email (so I change them from large .bmp files to small .jpg files (around 75-200 pixels). If I'm going to be printing them, I just save them as large .bmp files. (When they're large they also come out better if you're going to Photoshop them.... clean up backgrounds, crop, etc.) If I want to email one of the .bmp files to someone later, I can always make it smaller and then copy it as a .jpg file for email purposes. (That way it doesn't take them half an hour to download one photo!)
Yeah but did you say to the guys, "Hey *handsome*....did you find the right size?" lol

My 7-year-old girl is now wearing a size 6 ladies shoe...sm
I'm afraid to try to guess how much that foot is going to grow before she gets to high school! She's also 2 heads taller than the kids in her class.
I agree. I could never understand why people bragged about the size of their refund.
It just means they let the government accrue interest on their money throughout the year. I aim for less than $100 difference between what I owe and what I pay in every year. Yes, my refund is smaller, but I would rather put that money into savings or my retirement fund on a monthly basis than let Uncle Sam "hold it for me" all year long.
why do you make your lasagne one day, separate it into meal size portions, freeze it, and eat it for
;
well....it depends on how you look at it.
I think your Halloween decorations sound great!! Pretty spooky, IMO. It depends on how you look at the situation. Halloween, in reality, is not just a fun holiday. It actually stands for All Hallow's Eve and if you are into pagan religion this is your favorite night of the whole year...it is the Devil's New Year. We have been celebrating this holiday forever, but just for fun and tricks, BUT...at the same time pagans have been celebrating "the new year."
The preacher as well as God's people come with responsibilities and duties to fulfill--a preacher just has a tougher role (leadership)to fill. Not my rule, God's rule.
At the same time, he is not supposed to totally interfere with your life. He should not judge you (10 commandments say "Thou shalt not judge") and if he has said everything you have told here, then he has placed a judgement on you, which he will be held accountable for. Sometimes Christians (regardless if Baptist, etc)can get themselves in major trouble just by the way they word something. In reality, what he should have done was just prayed to God for your family (not saying anything bad about you--just what he or any Christian who feels offended in some way should do)and asked God for His help in dealing with his feelings towards your decorations.
Hope this helps!! Have a great day!!
Depends where she gets them. sm
We were in California, and she bought from some costume firm in Chicago. Usuall ran anywhere from $60 to $90 for costume for each recital.
$54 for six weeks is a decent price. Sorry you can't watch. We were always allowed to stay for the session, and show up at the end and watch. That seems strange to me.
It depends.
I have one on right now but some days the girls breathe
It depends on the kid (SM)
I have 3 girls. They are all so different that they cannot be grouped by behavior based on their gender alone. The oldest has so much 'tude and is quite difficult. The second is a breeze. The third, well, she's 1, so I don't know too much yet, but she seems to be the easiest of them all.
Depends
My newphew is on it and has lost almost all his weight. He had tried several things, including So. Beach, but nothing worked. He had gained weight after knee surgery, etc. - needed to get it off because his work is teaching martial arts!
He says the food is good. It is costly, however.
I can't afford it, so I'm just counting calories and keeping a food diary. I just write down the time, the food and the # of calories I eat throughout the day. Putting it on paper keeps me honest and I like trying to keep it at 1200 or less calories a day.
depends on what you are looking for
and how old kids are. Cape Cod, White Mountains/Conway NH, Maine seacoast, Olde Orchard Beach, Boston, Lake Winnepesaukie (sp) in New Hampshire.
That depends... Here is a tip
Contributions can either go to a general fund which goes toward regular expenses, i.e. lights, cleaning, etc. You may also designate that contribution to a special program, i.e. youth department, sound system, etc. All contributions that are designated can not be spent on anything else except for that particular program. As for the cards, that is a personal decision. Generally, a card to the family addressed to the spouse is sufficient. My suggestion would be to mark a date on your calendar a month from now and do a follow up call. See how the family is doing and check for any specific needs. Often times they just need to talk.... so be available.
I not sure but I believe it depends
on the risk level. There is a sex offender living directly behind us. He was a high school coach and had an affair with a student. She was 16 or 17. Her mother found a ton of revealing love letters between them and she gave him warning once if it did not stop, she is going to turn him in. It did not stop so she turned him in. The gal was willing but still he was the adult in the situation and he should not have taken advantage of her. Anyway, I have seen him exercising in the park. I don't think I have seen him at ballgames though.
I think it depends on the kid...sm
I have 3 and of course they all have different personalties. My oldest DS started about the age of 2 and he was a snap. Then my DD came along and she was, and still is, so stubborn and strong-willed. She was probably almost 3 before she was potty trained. Then youngest DS was probably 3 1/2 before he was out of diapers. Never thought I would get through those days, and now they are 20, 17, and 15.
Depends . . . . sm
Is it just you? If so,I'd wait and draw full plus work. If you don't need the $$,go ahead and retire. I'd probably wait anyway because I don't know what I'd do with all that free time!
