Doggie Fiber Question
Okay, will someone set me straight on this, PLEASE!
If your dog's stools are not firm and well formed (mushy, but not diarrhea) do they need MORE fiber in their diet or LESS? I just can't seem to get this straight because I've been advised both ways.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!

MiraLax itself is OTC now.
I buy it at Walmart. There is nothing as good as this product.
If she doesn't NEED it then why not prunes added to the diet, or prune juice, which can be cut with other juices if it tastes too sweet.

Hey - me too! Before MiraLax
I was always trying something new. I tried Dannon's Activia, thinking it would help me with any problems a new pain medicine might cause, and ended up needing a colonoscopy!
Cheaper Miralax
Costco has it 2 for the price of 1. The amount I've saved at Costco (on drugs alone) payed for the membership.
Correction....I meant to say Rx for MiraLax

MiraLax changed my life. LOL
Seriously, though, eating a high-fiber diet did not change my issues until I met MiraLax.
I am also having some success with probiotics.
Dr. Weil recommends red rice yeast supplement, green tea, garlic and fiber. nm
