There are a lot of possibilities here

First off, he could have a panic attack 1 day and be fine the next.  That's what Ativan can do.  Now, more importantly, the father's heart attack.  So many people call it a heart attack when it really isn't.  It could have been a gallbladder attack, severe reflux, angina attack, etc. (I'm not trying to insult your intelligence, just pointing out the obvious).  Thirdly, men are just weird sometimes about how they deal with life-threatening situations.

I wouldn't make too much out of it for now.  If he lied about something like that, it's on his consciousness and will probably come out at some point.  Lay low for now and just keep an eye on his story-telling.  You might even want to send his dad a get well card just to show good faith on your part and maybe give his dad a heads-up that his son is potentially using his health as an excuse.  Most parents wouldn't appreciate their kids saying something like that to get out of a date (no matter how old) and will probably call him on it.

Good luck.  Hope your relationship goes the way you want it to!

A few different possibilities...
Could be blindness/cataracts setting in and she's crying to get some assurance. Also, old cats can get a little senile too. If she were in pain, you would know it. It sounds like attention and the weight loss more than likely thyroid and muscle wasting (hormone and old cat issue). It's good that she is eating well! And, it is true, you will know when it is time. I feel for ya ~ BTDT.
1 or more of 3 possibilities I can think of.
Either your camera has a cable that will connect to the printer, the camera has a memory card that comes out of the camera and inserts into a slot on the printer, or the camera and printer are linked wirelessly by Bluetooth.

Try Googling your camera and model number. Companies often have user manuals available online for their products.
