have an electrocardiogram done.  That will tell if there is or has been heart damage or any irregularities, such as arrhythmia or ischemia.  I'd start there. Good Luck and Feel Better!

Sure! It's the easiest ever!
Actually based on the Tupperware recipe.

I keep everything chopped and frozen except for the canned tomatoes. I buy a packet of salsa seasoning at the grocery store for ease and I can usually find it on sale for 33cents and stock up.

1 large bell pepper
1/2 a medium onion
1 large can of tomatoes (chopped or whole but no seasoning)
1 large garlic clove or garlic powder

I add a squirt of lime juice (if I have it) and black pepper. Then a packet of seasoning mix and some dried about 2 teaspoons of dried cilantro (if I have it). Keep it chunky or blend it/food process it to the texture you like. We like it pretty smooth. I add Tabasco sauce to taste for heat. Less than 5 minutes preparation and it is the thing that everyone now asks me to bring to parties and gatherings. :) Enjoy!
just had a major lawsuit ruling
but these are mainly people down in the coastal areas whose homes were completely leveled or not habitable. Insurance companies should be ashamed of themselves...some of these folks have been paying the same company for 40 to 50 years and when they need them, they get screwed. I hope the homeowners actually get the monies so they can get what should have been theirs in the first place.

We lived further inland, so the winds were strong enough to blow off a roof, or blow rain under a roof, or turn trees over on houses and crush them, but not level a home....but every time a wind comes up or it rains heavy, everyone holds their breath because trees now have weak roots and are easily toppled over, even 2 years later.
Invasive in-law

My poor MIL.  She wants to be involved, I know and I do want her to be a part of her GK life but some of the things she does is so unnerving.  My oldest daughter started K this last year.  This is her first GK.  She came Friday to watch her perform during half-time during the football game.  They called them mini-cheerleaders.  That was great.  No problem with that.  She stayed through Labor Day.  Everything was okay.  She was going to leave yesterday but we asked her to stay and watch the kids so we could go to that parent teacher meeting and she agreed.  She kept making comments about how she wished she lived closer so she could help dd with her school.  She could go over her school work with her and such.  I am thinking to myself “no that is my job as a mother.”  She used a lot of the “I wished I lived closer…” phrase and I was thinking, no I am glad you live 80 miles away.  Well, today when I picked dd up, MIL just helped herself and looked through dd folder to see what dd did and read the teacher comments.  I would have liked for her to ask first.  Then she said “did the teacher send home those flashcards she was talking about, I will go over them with her now.”  I said no, that probably won’t start until next week as next week they will be going a full day.  This week they are only going a half days.  Oh, then she tried to get dd to eat lunch.  I said MIL they ate at school.  She just ate chicken strips, fries and gravy.  She said Oh, I see.  There is a sign on our refrigerator that they get out at 12 after they eat lunch.  She read it out loud to me earlier this morning but I guess she forgot.  I am just so glad she left because I had enough.  I have been taking Celexa and it helps me deal with that better but if I shoved the whole bottle up my bun I don’t think it would have helped if I had to spend one more day with her.  That sounds terrible I know.  Man the last time she was here, she did our laundry.  I found my undies folded neatly on my bed when I got home. UGG!!  I hope she did not think they were pillow cases.

Her feelings are so sensitive that if you tell her to back off, she interprets it as “you hate me, you don’t want me to be a grandmother.”  That is so not true.  The problem is is that she has no one, nothing to keep her occupied anywhere.  She has no friends, no activities.  All she has is the doctor appointments, getting the mail, going to the grocery store.  She is starting gain some friends but I can tell that is not what she wants to do, she wants to be in the middle of us.

One of the things I have on my side is that she is 72, fixing to be 73.  She is going to slow down hopefully.  I just dread if she ever moves here.  I do notice she gets even more meddling and invasive right when she is fixing to leave.  I don’t know why she does that.
Non-invasive cosmetic procedures..

Has anyone had any of the cosmetic procedures done in the dermatologist's office; microdermabrasion, laser, photo therapy, etc?  Thinking about doing something and of course I wanted to ask here first if anyone has any experience with these procedures and what they thought. Thanks!
