smell like powder. You get 50 to a bag - they are little blue plastic bags. Tie the poopie up tight in the bag and VOILA! throw it in your trash and no smell!

dollar store
One year was particularly bad and I went to the dollar store and bought 64 things and wrapped every one. It was quite an impressive hill under the tree.
If you have a Family Dollar store nearby, try to....
get a product called "Absolutely Awesome." This stuff gets the most stubborn stains out of literally everything and is so amazingly inexpensive that I finally started buying it by the gallon!
Dirty store and nasty workers. Wanted to clarify
xx
I also thought the diaper thing was weird.
What was she driving that she didn't think she would have to stop for gas for over 900 miles?!?! I mean, there are bathrooms at gas stations, right? Use those!
Well, for one thing, Cash Cab in a mini-van, not a car.

Oh, good one! I despise that store! And the funny thing is..
most kids around here who want to be noticed, or whose parents have a ton of money or who are just plain brats ALL wear A&F. My kids could really care less. Talk about the store that caters to cliques and that is IT. But it caters to them in such a bad way......PS: Good for your friends and your daughter!
Also, I wish people, parents especially, that you don't have to wear a particular brand name to be noticed or to be cool. That is just so ridiculous to me! Why do people do it? Now, I will buy clothes from expensive stores IF the quality is what I am looking for, so I'm no K-Mart mom by all means, but I think these days parents are taking this "look at the brand-name-my-kids-are-wearing" way too far!
DIAPERS, DIAPERS, DIAPERS
Okay, you could buy diapers on the internet and have then shipped, but that is kindda weird. BELIVE ME new moms need diapers. The cost of diapers is sooo pricey now. Maybe you could get a gift card and a pack of baby crawlers (which is like baby clothes... baby jump suits) I think they call them something else. Babies spit up and poop soooo much, so the gift card covers diapers and the crawlers will cover the many many times the baby will spit up all over her clothes.
newborn diapers
The "newborn" aren't for weight they are for a cut out for the umbilical cord to heal. So the weights are the same for newborn and size one.
My son was 3 - he still argued with me that he wanted diapers! (sm)
It is not a sign of delayed development or anything like that. My son is even in AG now at age 10. But at age 3 he argued with me when I said, "no more diapers." He said, "Yes! Diapers!" And for the next week and a half he peed on every item in my house! He removed couch cushions and peed on the part underneath. He peed in my office chair. He spent half his time in time-out and half his time peeing. Not in time-out for accidents, but time-outs for the plotted out, planned locations of protest - like removing the couch cushion. After that week, he decided he was tired of peeing everywhere and started going to the bathroom. Every time he went, my husband and I would do a konga line dance down the hall singing "pee-pee in the pot-ty..." The things we do to get rid of diapers LOL! Anyhow, when my daughter was barely 2, my son, then 5, decided to potty train her. He did. He got her to sit on the potty and made such a big game of it that she thought it was great. He would bring her cups of water so she could go more. It was hilarious. Okay, enough potty talk for one day! Good luck!
Diapers and baby wipes
Everybody buys the bibs, bath lotions, and Onesies (which I personally hated, could not tolerate snapping and unsnapping all the time for diaper changes).
I always buy a ton of diapers in varying sizes and a crate of baby wipes. At first the expectant mom thinks it is weird, but give it a month or two, and they think it is greatest gift ever! They use them every day and they get to be a big expense.
How about diaper service?
Depending on how much you want to spend, you can buy as much time as you want. My sister got 6 months worth as a shower gift and absolutely loved it! The company initially set her up with a santized odor-less container to put the soiled one in and more than enough to last for a week, then they pick up the dirty ones and leave clean ones once a week. It saves money for the new parents and is good for the environment too, no diapers in landfills.
I used to do store security for a major department store - try this -
Go to the store and ask to speak with someone from the security department. Tell them what you have stated here. Hope they are able to help you!
That would be my suggestion, too. Leave the diaper on just a bit.
but, of course, no so long that a rash develops! That's basically what helped when one of my kiddos having the same issue. Your daughter will have to be prepared to deal with her child voicing (probably very loud) displeasure!
Get rid of the cat? Seriously, this is like having babies and asking how to keep poop off the diaper

I have to disagree about the Diaper Genie sm
I, myself didn't need one, but my brother-in-law insisted on one when my sister had her babies.
The Diaper Genie was the best present I ever got
My husband's friend actually bought it for me.
I made this diaper wreath for my sister-in-law
very easy to do
Maybe a mini-makeover would
give you a confidence boost. Never hurts to go to a highly recommended hair stylist and see what they might suggest to update your look. You could go to one where they do makeup also. Ulta does both.
I love to watch What Not to Wear to see how big a change can be made and to get ideas. Sometimes the difference is huge, and they don't call it "being on the market" for nothing, LOL.
Dell Mini
With a mini, can you do everything that you can do with a laptop?
Anyone remember Mini-Poo? ...
For those who don't know, Mini-Poo was a product to put on your hair to prevent it from getting oily (it was like a talcum poweder). Well, I thought it was a great idea and I was sitting in class in high school one day and my best friend was sitting in back of me. She mentioned how nice my hair looked that day and as she said it she patted the back of my hair and, you guessed it, the Mini-Poo looked like smoke coming out of my hair. She couldn't help but laugh....it was embarrassing as everyone in back of me noticed it.
My dog loves coconut oil right off the spoon. Try the health food store. Sometimes in food store,

There are many rescues for mini pinpins
We just purchased a puggle and she has been very gentle, and very smart. Not one accident even in her kennel at night. She is a big baby though and doesn't like to be alone, a lap dog pretty much, but has playful moments too. If you are looking for an indoor dog you might want to check them out or the mini pinpins. Good luck to you, whatever you get, I am a firm believer that like children the "parenting" is what is going to make the difference in a good dog or bad one. :)
Why a mini-strike? Keep it up and they will step up

Maybe he had some kind of a mini-stroke or something, and it
We just put every extra dollar
We could toward paying all the unsecured debt we had until we only owed for the house. Then we decided we didn't really need to be living so grandly, and we really weren't living where we wanted to be anyway, so we quit jobs, sold the house and bought a smaller one where we wanted to live outright with the profit. We had a few thousand left so hubby could take a bit of time and look for work. He's an industrial electrician, so he can really work anywhere. I decided to go in a different direction career-wise, and decided to become an MT.
Asian chicken mini skewers
Marinate cubed chicken breast, about 2", in Teriyaki sauce with lemon zest overnite in a storage back. Soak wooden (round)toothpicks in water about 30 mintues before skewering. Set oven to 400º. Skewer once piece of chicken per toothpick. Place on lightly sprayed cookie sheet. Bake for about 10 minutes. If you want, heat the left over sauce on the stove for 20 minutes, until reduced. (You must cook it before using it to avoid contamination). Braise chicken skewers with sauce reduction immediately after removing from oven.
mini-dauchsands - maggie and milo
Maggie and Milo. both girls. Last one was Ginger - also a mini-dauchsand - she died at the age of 18.
Mini-marshmallow shooters. Saw them in a catalog (sm)
thought they might be a fun for grandchildren. Will their mom kill me? It says for outdoor fun, but you can imagine they will be shooting them inside at least once. They are pretty good about picking up after themselves though.
ANyone have/used these and tell me if I am going to get in hot water if I buy them some. TIA.
I am less than $100K way from a million-dollar

Half-Dollar sized BA
yes, and that's just your opinion.
Not sure.....I vote for Half-Dollar! lol

I went into the Dollar General looking for school
decorations. I walked out without buying anything.I refuse to patronize a store that does such a dispicable thing. I'm a big halloween fan and was miffed they hadn't even put out the halloween stuff yet!
Do you have a Dollar Tree nearby?
they have a pet odor remover product in the pet supplies. It contains an enzyme that they use in nursing homes to get rid of all kinds of odors, not just urine. worth a try, especially for just a buck! Otherwise maybe Febreeze but you would probably have to soak it and let it dry out, not just a light spray. Good luck!
SURE he can afford to work for a dollar --
What a load of manure.
My husbands check went up a whole dollar - nm

bags
I have used cucumbers many times which works. Also I have heard that preparation H works as well but have never tried it, but it stands to reason that it would work. I use a lighter concealer under my eyes than my foundation shade which brightens up the area. I use Avon's Anew eye products and they are wonderful, and usually frequently on sale, as they are a little pricey, but worth it.
bags
Forgot to say that cucumbers, the same as preparation H do shrink puffiness, but I had a makeup tip once in a Victoria's Secret makeover to use just the slightest amount on the corner of the eye, an irridescent (which is light-reflectant) CREAM eye shadow which is moist, not powder which is caking and drying, like near-white, near-pink near-silver, etc. Use it very sparingly; just a dot in the corner or just below the corner. It brightens the corner of the eye. It really is a pretty look and brightens the dark look and the corner. The trick is to use it sparingly so it is not obvious.
As I was saying. Your own children. I love mini yorkies and when my kids
are old enough, I will get one from her. I have bought a lot of things for her dogs and do not resent her at all for not coming to see me. I am very emotionally healthy, have a great relationship with Christ as my savior, but actually feel sorry for her that she is missing out on so much because she refuses to leave her dogs. How can that be at all healthy? And you say you don't want to be around your family because they are not dog lovers? So what? Whenever our family gets together we ALL have things that the other person does or doesn't do, but we still love them as PEOPLE. My mom misses out on a lot and I feel for HER.
As a Biblical Christian, we are called to love others (she is too), and reach out to others. It says absolutelly nothing about keeping your family and friends out of your lives because "they don't like your dogs" or because you don't think they love you if they don't accept your dogs. What an enormously selfish way to live your life.
I was going to say a million dollar home today
in the NE isn't all that spectacular, sadly. And for only 300,000 you can get a fixer upper! Isn't that special? lol
I bought mine at Dollar General but sm
you have to ask for it. They keep it in the office. I use it for walking my dogs. I think Wal-Mart probably has it, too, maybe in the auto department.
Ziplock bags!
Ziplock bags for all liquid items (shampoo, perfume, makeup). Rolling clothes helps stop wrinkling. Here are some helpful sites.

Same here bags for adults
And paper for my children (even though my older one hasn't believed in Santa Claus for a few years).
paper or bags
It's paper for me all the way - I love to wrap and make bows, etc. My sister does bags, hates to wrap. To each his own.
You know you can make your own bags
pretty easy and cheap using different boxes as templates, detergent boxes, etc. Did it with my Girl Scout troup. That way you can use paper you like.
Bags under eyes
I am developing huge bags under my eyes and always, always look exhausted. Nothing wrong found at the doctor other than my never ending battle with depression. Photos taken at a wedding this weekend show my eyes to be especially dark at the outside corners-I always look like I've been crying.
Any tried and true remedies to help reduce the puffiness and darkness? I have sensitive, pale skin by the way.
I am planning several long weekends this summer for mini-vacations.
We are going to drive up to the Omaha Zoo for a weekend. We live in rural Missouri north of Kansas City, so it's about a three or four hour drive.
Then, we have a family reunion in southern Missouri and I'm planning a 4-day weekend for that so we can spend some time in the Ozarks.
Then, we will go into Kansas City to Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun.
Then, I'm planning a four-day weekend in Branson.
So I guess we are going to explore our state too!
Plus we have a public pool in our town that the kids spend a lot of time at. Then there is girl scout camp for my daughter. My son will be getting a job this summer as he's 16 now and mom can't afford gas for my car and his car and to pay for his dates all of the time.
As you can see I try to keep my kids as busy as possible! There is nothing worse than bored children when you're trying to work!
Actually is a Dollar General brand Brat cause more light

I like to use gift bags for the adults
and wrapping paper for kids. I know there is a lot of wasted paper when you wrap, but something about watching a child rip into a package is so fun.
Zip lock bags and tie a ribbon around them- sm
this way they stay fresh.
Works for garbage bags too
If you have 2 or more kids who have to take turns taking out the garbage, assign each a garbage color - you can get them in white, yellow, green and blue that I know of. When the blue kid takes out the garbage, s/he puts in the yellow bag, or whoever's turn it is next. Believe me, they don't forget to change the bags.
