It is difficult being the pastor's wife. And now I am working Sunday mornings, so of course they say I am not supporting my husband as pastor. Alternatively, I say I am because we have 3 kids to raise and when they pay him enough etc. I could quit my job and be a lady of leisure... Oh, you should hear what I get. So, I decided that although a Pastor's wife, I have feelings and my counseling of staying away from controlling people stand. I do not agree with them that how I spend eternity will depend on my attending or not...
My poor husband is in the middle, but he supports me. He even said he'd give up his ministry and work as a mailman full time but I tell him, no, it is my decision, the church ladies have to deal with it and he needs to stick with what he loves to do. Unfortunately, a lot of these places are a magnet for hypocrites and I think they thrive on gossip. My theory is in the end the truly kind people will leave and then who will they pick on? LOL.
Sorry for getting off topic, but more than one doc has said that I am the mentally healthy one for keeping away from control freaks and I will stick with that professional opinion. :)

Thanks for the validation. I thought so too.
that he was still married to his ex in his heart. Sorry, but I don't submit, I don't even know what that is. Man pulling woman by hair into cave to have his way? Could you ever imagine a woman say, He was so wonderful. He submitted to me. Yuck.
