I would never put myself before my little guy but I am scared right now that I will not be able to make the rent month after month. My paycheck has been cut in half and like everyone else, there are many decisions to make because of less money but how do you explain that to an animal. I think no one is nuts for putting out thousands to save our "children" and that is exactly what they are. I appreciate all your answers. I know I made the right decision and have been making a list of what I can cut out to save money. It is so important to me that he stays in this apartment until it is his time to go. As stated, it is very sad to see a blind friend getting around. I cannot change anything or even leave a box on the floor because I am too lazy to go to the dumpster - it throws him off totally. I thank you all and good luck with your furry friends - I hope they will all stay healthy and happy!!!! Thanks so much - a friend of mine keeps telling me I need to move but I will do what I have to do in order to keep Simba happy and safe. Thanks again all and good luck to each and everyone of you!!! You guys really made me feel good and I KNOW we will be able to pay the rent. They will have to carry us out of this place with me kicking and screaming. Thanks again!!!
