Thank you very much!

I would like to thank those of you who sounded off on my rant!! I guess I just needed to hear I wasn't alone!  Just for the record, I do not think I am the ONLY caring parent out there.  I am sure that most parents do care, but sometimes get sidetracked, too self-absorbed, etc.  I had a horrible childhood with both parents being in and out of my life, abuse, etc but I love my parents and am thankful for what they did try to teach us and even more thankful for the crap I endured because it has made me a much better parent.  All I have done are things I wish I would have had when I was growing up.  Oh, and one more thing, my oldest decided to move out at 18 because he did not want to have rules.  He thankfully stayed in school and graduates in month, but he is wishing he never would have left and has actually apologized to us for all the chaos and told us what good parents we were!  My Mother's Day this year was the best one I think I have ever had!  I was surrounded by all 3 of my children, my mother, my husband, and my in-laws and their families.  I hope all of yours were wonderful days too
