There isn't one person in this state that I know, other than family members. Believe it or not, the closest "friend" I have is the lady from the Housing Authority who's been working with me. I've never even met her, but she is very, very nice. In fact, she sent me an email yesterday that began, "You are so my "you got mail" friend" because there have been a few times when we were emailing each other at the same time, almost like an ESP type thing where we both had the same thoughts, etc.
As far as getting out and being around other people, that just plain terrifies me. I guess my agoraphobia is the cause of that, but I have the need to feel "safe" and stay in my room all the time.
I didn't feel stress or strain with my job. I LOVED my job. I just became very frustrated because I can't do it any more and finally had to admit it.
Oh, I'm "hangin'" LOL.
Thanks for your post, Britta. You seem like a very nice woman yourself.
