To clarify, she didn't do in vitro.
She was using Clomid, I believe. She claims to have polycystic ovarian disease, and so ovulation is a problem for her. The sextuplets were conceived after it was determined that her ovaries were hyperstimulated, and the clinic would not do the insemination. She and her husband were advised to "skip the cycle", but went home and conceived the old-fashioned way anyway. Originally, there were 7 embryos, but one did not develop.
I don't know if Jon and Kate set about to conceive high order multiples, but they definitely went after money not long after the babies were born. What started out as an interesting program showing how two more or less average parents dealt with the demands of raising a family in an average home has morphed into a sad, sorry situation. The live in million dollar home now, and the show seems to be endless vacations and product placements. Those poor kids are on display like a bunch of zoo animals. What a shame. Jon and Kate need to shut down this production and take care of their family.

I had a close friend who ironically was an obstetrical nurse who went through three trials of all this, and with medical insurance it cleaned her and her husband's bank account out, ironically, they ended up adopting a toddler and she then became pregnant NATURALLY!!! but anyway, I know first-hand the expense, what gives in this case, the parents had no money, as I mentioned below, this was reported on CNN and MSNBC.
Can't stop shaking my head in amazement! And if she were "obsessed" as a teenager with having babies for the sake of having babies, shouldn't the parents have gotten her some SERIOUS psychhiatric help, there is a big problem here, this young lady has unbelievable psychological issues that need to be addressed fast, and for her own happiness? Apart from financial, how does one mother adequately nurture and love each of these babies as individuals, all 14, giving them all the love, attention, care, instructions, etc., that they all so richly need and deserve in their little lives???
I do not go into anyone elses home like this and
I expect the same from others. I would not enter even my mother or fathers home, my aunt. This is rude and they would knock or ring the door bell if they came to mine. Rude to just go into a person's home.

I love Halloween. I love Christmas. Well, I don't really care what anyone else thinks. I decorate more for Christmas than I do for Halloween. There are people now that don't celebrate Christmas too. You know what I think.. to heck with them and ALL of THEIR beliefs. I am going to continue to do what makes me happy and what has been celebrated in my family for way more years than I want to admit. The world is changing. Whether we decide to go with it is OUR choice. If you have fun doing it, then don't worry about what anyone else thinks. It really is none of their business. For the first year in probably 18 years, I am dressing up with my children and I look forward to it (They asked me too). And even tho it is early, Happy Halloween!!

I am the product of a divorce years and years ago and thank goodness my mother had enough sense to not stay with my father. He was actually caught running around on her with other women. I knew my father growing up, spent time with he and my stepmom, loved her but I missed absolutely nothing by not having him in my house every day. You are responsible for your own self-. The advice you are giving is like saying a man messes around on a woman, drinks too much and maybe after the marriage he will change. You can only make yourself happy, no one else can do that for you. I have never had a time when I could not stand my husband, never and I would believe he probably feels the same. We laugh when others say they have to work at marriage- we just do not get this. Like I said, product of divorce, happily married myself, never missed my father, saw him but never, ever close in my life. By the way, I am one of the older and wiser group also.

My husband's ex-wife supposedly -sm
used sex as a weapon in the terms of as a reward. He had to jump through hoops to get it and basically grovel to get lucky. She apparently did not like having sex so he got it maybe once a month if he was a good boy. That just is not right, and there are women (and men) who do this... and women who string men along with promises, etc. in order to suck them dry (no pun intended).

Italian, here in Atlanta it is. I love Carabbas (spelling?). Hubby and I used to love the buffet at Bellagio in Vegas but their food quality has gone down some. There is a Corky's place here in town but I did not care for that when I was there. I have ordered lots of food items delivered but nothing beats my husband's food.
