There have been documented cases where girls got pregnant without ever actually having their first period. Menarche is also trending younger and younger these days. Can you say S-T-E-R-O-I-D-S in the food chain? (Milk, chicken, etc).

That said...

Other possibilities might include stress (is there anything else stressful in her life that happens on a monthly basis?), polycystic ovaries (suppressing the first period from happening, but still having the hormonal havoc), even an *unlucky* pattern of catching the flu?

A gastroenterologist might not be a bad idea either....
