Something similiar...

In Reply to: Got lost twice on a route I knew well. - CrankyBeach

I was driving through Indianapolis, Indiana, and I was trying to find where to exit. I stopped in one of those Seven-Eleven type places and they gave me directions. Got back in my car and got lost again and so stopped again for directions. Only to realize after I was in there asking for directions that I was at the same exact place I was before. So embarrassing.

Similiar situation and what I did - see inside!
When we built our new house 2 years ago I only had tile and teak floors put in throughout the entire house. I have 5 cats, and several times a week one of them will cough up a hairball or just plain old vomit. At my old house I also had light carpet, which was a nightmare to keep clean. Gotta say that I LOVE my new floors. No more screaming at someone to hurry up and bring a roll of paper towels, water for blotting, and the carpet cleaner. Nope, all I need now is a few paper towls and every once in awhile some wood floor cleaner to get up the smears. Yep, life is good. :-) You will not regret all hard floors, trust me!
