Look exactly like the Bakelite
I just had forgotten the name Bakelite. Thanks and feel sure that is what these are.
I do have the Bakelite braclets
because they were tested today at a huge antique place that is in town once a month. I got an offer of $15.00 each for them, went on and someone else said $35.00 apiece and now I have decided just to wear them myself! I have probably 20 lbs (yes, that is right) of costume jewelry and a lady was kind enough to go through each and every piece and tell me the better and the not so better in case I did want to sell. Also by looking around at the different booths I have been pretty much able to see what their prices are and gave me a really good idea. Now I am going back because I have an old Bible that is over 100 years old and a guy there said he would appraise for me, not that I am selling that but would be interested in finding out because it has maps in it of places not existing now days and just interested in finding out more about it. One thing that blew my mind was some dishes being sold (my stepmom used to have the same kind) and the prices were $$$$. The dishes came from a Jewell Tea Company of years ago and the woman even said the company used to bring to a customer's home I guess to sell their tea. Needless to say I came home also to see if I had any of that. Back to the antique place I am aheading.
Don't yard sale the Bakelite.

Bakelite is very popular and expensive to buy (unless things have changed in the last year). My husband got $500 for 4 bracelets and 2 pins.

There is a way to test the items without harming them using an everyday  household product, but I can't remember what it is...I know, no help.  Maybe you can Google and find it.
