I think as Christians we can use Santa Claus
As a witness if we want to. I feel that Santa is a fun part of Christmas but of course we should not forget the REAL reason for the season. We can give to others to show the love of Christ, Him giving His life for us. It is all about how you look at it and show it to others. God Bless you all and have a Blessed Christmas :)
P.S. A very good way to witness is through WorldVision. They have a wonderful gift catalog that I used for Christmas presents. You can purchase a wheelchair for a child in another country, childcare for orphans, etc.

I have nothing against Christians, just why do you feel the need to advertise...
wherever you go? That is what most people don't like. Sort of like how gay people are always advertising their sexual preference. You don't see heterosexuals doing that. Much like you don't see very religious Catholics doing this.
Do you think it makes you even more Christian-like if you advertise it and preach about it? Well, it doesn't. If you were really secure with your faith, you actually wouldn't need to do it at all.
So to us, it sort of makes you just as obnoxious as the gay guys making out in public in Miami.

Besides, the latest polls show that 80+% of Americans believe that they are Christians. That's a huge majority.
Also, if they were not Christians and were running, I would certainly like to know their personal values and what their value system is based on if it isn't the Bible. Again, they swear in on the Bible, that's not just opinion.

I think it is a tremendous job he is doing so far. Hooray for his actions concerning the navy SEAL team. I just took a survey on CNN and it was asking how many consider what Obama said about glimmer of hope and seeing things turned around and 64 something to 40 something felt the same glimmer. I am truly glad he is there instead of what it could have been, YIKES!

I knew the election outcome but after that and the flubbs, such as his war and Katrina, other folks can have him as their own. Being as I have never watched the "soaps" don’t have a clue as to what is preemptied there but I have choices here at home and I simply watch what I want to.

Yes, the Obamas have "other" income, whatever. The fact remains that it falls to our prez and his family to set an example for the rest. How can O preach fiscal responsibility as he has been and yet his family spends money so frivolously? We are in the midst of a depression and she is wearing $500 pair of shoes! People are being laid off and 401k's are being decimated. Those who have retired are having to go back to work and she is wearing a $500 pair of shoes!
Do you get it now? It's not whether the money is hers to spend, its about not practicing what you're preaching. It's about struggling Americans trying to make ends meet and president saying "I feel your pain" when obviously he has no freaking clue what our pain is.

George Clooney!! Ha!! My daughter said it the other day, and tonight I heard her friend say the same thing. They sat in the back seat of the car arguing with my 10-year-old that they were absolutely sure. My son, also slightly misinformed said, "George Clooney is a comedian" to which my daughter's friend replied, "No, a comedian is someone who works with animals."
