Here's a link to some office tips
I'll look for some more for home tips in general. I liked these office tips. This is the clearest explanation I have found yet for some of it. I need to move my desk around.

www.needydrugs.com
This is a sort of web site used as a "clearing house" to get you to different programs you can use to assist getting medications you need. Every drug/manufacturer has different guidelines and some do not publish what their guidelines are, so read the fine print.
I currently get Asacol and Aciphex based on my income tax return from last year, but I'm making more this year so I won't qualify for 2008 as my 2007 income will be too high. It's still not enough to afford insurance, though.
The manufacturer may require something in writing showing that your insurance does not cover the drug you need even if you meet income guidelines. Some send the med straight to your home, others send it to the doctor's office for you to pick up.
If you don't qualify for those programs, Wal-Mart has a discount card available on their web site to print that will save about 15% per RX. It isn't much, but every little bit helps.

Manhattan is one of the easiest cities to get around in, really. All the streets are in numerical order going north or south and all avenues are also in numerical order going east and west. Very simple once they have that knowledge.
Best of luck to him!

As for me, if we are *white* in discussion, I use *black* and seems to me my black friends prefer that. I did read once that Whoopi Goldberg does not like the term African American and she stated at that time that none of her relatives came from Africa. However, I have since read that's not entirely true (some of her relatives did come from Africa)......

When the collectors are knocking
If you've gotten in so deep that debt collectors are at the door, know your rights:
Debt collectors may not harass, oppress or abuse you or any third party they contact. (See "Make a deal with debt collectors.")
They may not falsely imply that they are government representatives or that you have committed a crime.
They may not tell you that you will be arrested if you do not pay your debts.
I hope this helps.

My VET was the one who recommended it!
Otherwise, animal control takes the dog to the pound where it will surely be DESTROYED for being a nuisance animal barking all the time.
Recommended
The lady I subcontract for recommended it. I've been a lurker for about eight months and have posted to a few threads.
If she comes recommended, $5/hr is good. That's the
s
this is the recommended technique from
the book "The Oppositional Defiant Child". Actually, there are even more extreme tactics to use from the book, but you followed the suggestions to the letter even if you never read the book. Good for you and glad it worked!
Corn starch isn't really recommended
for yeast because it can actually feed yeast.
Yes. My stylist said the doctor recommended that if SM
the patches did not work for her. He told her that within three months with Chantix the smoking is gone forever. I know we have a lot of pet lovers on this board, myself one of the most enhusiastic. These poor pets are also very susceptible to second-hand smoke. It penetrates the fur into the skin and they often pay the consequences with cancer and lung/heart problems.
Sorry - meant why they recommended for her child. nm

The recommended starting dosage for adults is 25 mg (sm)
3 to 4 x daily with a maximum of 150 mg daily. The medication is prescribed for depression, but with alot of those antidepressants, they are also prescribed for their sedative effect, and thus also prescribed for insomnia. Pamelor has been around a long time, and in my last 10 years of transcribing, don't recall any physician prescribing it as a sleep aid. The usual standard now seems to be trazodone, starting dose 50, but may increase in increments of 50 mg up a max of 300. I am not questioning your doctor's reasoning for prescribing this, I just find it unusual. I would not be concerned about increasing the dose you are taking. Most medications, in order to cause deliterious and life-threating potential, need to be taken 30x the normal prescribing dose. Hope you feel better.
Mylanta - our doctor's nurse recommended (sm)
You can dab it on the spots. Also what works for us - depends on her age (you may have said, I missed it) is Campho-Phenique - it is not made for that necessarily and doesn't taste great but works well to take the sting out of any kind of mouth sores.
That Bach stuff is highly recommended...
for horses as well! They sell it in almost every tack store and catalog I can think of--I never knew it was for people too! What a riot!
Did that, seeing the physician, that is
and was told the symptoms of detached retina, should I ever have these, were sudden flashes of bright lights and then to get to emergency room or physician ASAP. Floaters, I know, are quite a normal thing in older patients but my question was if anyone had ever had any kind of treatment for these. I have been to a physician, told them what I was having (as have typed on them for years) and not given any kind of treatment for them, just wondering if any others were suggested treatment for them. Thanks
Have you tried asking the physician
your husband is seeing for his disease? Is there a large hospital in your area that may be you could call and ask if there is anything offered online either directly through them or they could suggest a site? I wonder if you Google the rare disease you might find some sites. I think you are right though to gain support online since it is the wave of the future.
I had it done once by a physician, but
was told insurance would not cover them as it was considered cosmetic. I had some on my neck and told them with my collar rubbing them they bled. They took scissors and snipped them off and guess what? I have done them since that time myself. No anesthesia, no antibiotic so figured what the heck, sterilize with alcohol and snip away.
I told the physician
I had them, have typed on this so long knew what they were and sure enough, have. What I am asking is there anyone out there who has had any sort of treatment for them or is this just a bothersome thing that continues. TIA
He has talked with his physician,
I could talk with his physician, have absolutely no issue there, not afraid to discuss nor shamed to discuss any issue with sexual impotency or others. No family physician here for me but that same would apply as above if I had one. Like earlier, love him dearly as he does me. He in fact was telling me earlier (started tearing up just saying it) how much he loved me and would do anything in the world for me. All together now, big ahhhhhhhhhhh.
physician call
I wish you the best of luck and prayers go with you. If it were me, I would also seek a second opinion before undergoing invasive procedure and check for best possible surgeon if needed.
Someone on main board I think, recommended angel food network, which (sm)
I have been familiar with in the past. You might want to check that out as a way to save a lot of money on your food bill.
Just back from the physician, told him this would be a
very quick visit, did not want the Synthroid any more and asked for and got the Armour instead. Told him since first diagnosed no difference in any symptoms except none of the intense itching like at first, still weight, dry skin, hair and so on and so forth. I will definitely pay Sallys a visit and get what you are talking about. I believe in trying what others have used and believe in. Thanks!
Maybe FOREVER! That's encouraging. Don't want HRT and physician
said long term HRT is a thing of the past, which I didn't know. Now, they only give them for 3-6 months. Mine went away for a couple of months, but back again, 15-20 a day, but no night sweats. I thought this stuff only lasted a year or so.
If the original physician is her family
doctor they will find out because they always ask for medical records.
