Our public elementary schools here are excellent, but the high schools are seriously lacking, so my eldest is in a private boarding school. It's more expensive than most colleges but well worth it to ensure he gets one of the best educations available and opportunities that would never be available at a public school.

If you're thinking you can afford it, you might be surprised. Students loans are offered for elementary and high school tuition now, just like at the college level.
