SAD

I get this every year when the days become shorter and there is less light.  Here's what I do:  I make it a point to get outside in the sunshine for AT LEAST 15 to 20  minutes a day.  If it's a cloudy/rainy/snowy day, I hit the tanning booth because you get vitamin D from it, not to mention how relaxing it is.  I take extra calcium with vitamin D too.  I also exercise daily - outdoors.  I'm a morning person so I'm out jogging with my dog no matter what the weather.  I'm also looking into those "light boxes" for people with SAD.  You can go online and Google them.  I haven't mastered my cravings for sugary stuff yet. That still is a problem with  me in fall and winter.
