My son has been applying for lost of scholarships and haven't heard anything yet but many are not going to announce until April to June. Google scholarships (we found one for $2,500 from Family Dollar, not much but every cent counts). He is applying for anything and everything. Also, talk to the high school counselor about what scholarships are available and call the college to see what they offer. We have a couple of relatives that weren't exactly expecting help (they were small scholarships)but they were awarded at graduation. Don't give up hope. Good luck to your son!
