I think it's a good idea. Not a big deal to write out one address and save the woman some time (after all the party is about doing something nice for HER).

I recently was at a shower where we did that and joked around about writing the whole note (and what an awesome gift it was). : )

I think most people would be good sports about it if you ask me.
