I was on Pamelor for years for migraine prophylaxis. Therapeutic dose starts at 25 mg so I would think you could move yourself up to 20 mg.

Anyone taking Pamelor?
Doctor started me on one 10 mg a night for sleep but last night woke up at 5 in the morning due to some pain I am having. She said I could go to 2 a night but my question to you is do I have to work the dosage up or do you think the 20 is too much for a second night of taking? Thanks.
The reason for the Pamelor is
hopefully to get a good nights sleep as the rheumatologist said so important because of my flare of fibromyalgia which has gone on for over a month now. No depression at all and not prescribed for this. I took the smaller dose last night, went to sleep around 11:30 and up with pain at 5 something this morning, so not getting the amount of rest I should. Hurting with the fibro has now put me into shingles. I want to know when the fun starts!!
