lump on eyelid
A couple weeks ago I noticed a lump on my eyelid (looks just like a ball bearing underneath the lid). It is not hard and does not hurt. My vision is fine and I don't even realize its there unless I rub my eye and feel it. Has anyone come across this or know what it might be?
groin lump
My sister told me a couple of weeks ago that she had one. Her doctor asked her if she had any sores in her nose. Oddly, she did. The infection in her nose was what caused the infected lump in the groin area. Strange, but true, and very often misdiagnosed.
have a lump on my thyroid . . .sm
anyone ever have a nodule or diagnosed with thyroid cancer? My twin sister had thyroidectomy 1-1/2 years ago for thyroid cancer. I am feeling a little scared right now . . . I go for ultrasound tomorrow.
have a question about groin lump sm
last weekend i woke up to a sore groin, and a little bit of my very upper thigh. i felt around and found about a "lima bean" sized lump. it was very sore to the touch. over the course of the week, the lump decreased in size and there is no tenderness. i still feel a lump. i figured it is probably a lymph node. probably about three to four inches away from this lump i had a bite, not sure what kind but i'm guessing a tick. i never did see a tick there, but the sore it left and how long i've had this sore makes me think a tick bite. i haven't gone to the doctor, but wondering if i should even though the soreness is gone now.
Wasn't trying to lump all bus drivers together.
I know there are some very good ones out there who are in it for the kids, definitely not the money. I was just offering a possible explanation to anon who asked.
Personally, I trust no one with my stepson unless I know them very very well. He doesn't ride the bus either but is picked up from school with us. The older a child gets, the more comfortable I am with it but in my opinion, not in elementary school. Fortunately my job allows such accomodations. I understand not all parent's are able to do such and there's nothing "wrong" with that. Just my personal opinion to choose not to leave my child with anyone if its avoidable. Besides the bus driver/stranger thing there are many other reasons I prefer my child not to ride the bus and not be left home alone.
I've been paying a lump sum for my taxes
and was starting to get scared that I'm doing it wrong. Actually, my husband was doing the taxes, and this year we're separated. I've just been an IC two years and an MT for a little over three. So is it okay to send it all in April? This will be my first year to write off an office space and such. So many other things were going on before that I had no time to really think this all through. Numbers and taxes and math are not my thing!
Slightly hypothyroid, about 6 months ago I found a lump
in my neck, had the whole workup including thyroid blood work and US guided biopsy which was benign. They put me on Synthroid, which has greatly helped my fatigue, etc. I thought I was just getting old and tired, etc. However, the mass is still there, not any smaller, so they will probably want to remove part of my thyroid sooner or later. If it enlarges they will definitely want to remove it. I would think by having thyroid removed you would actually gain weight unless your thyroid medication is adjusted appropriately?
