From the mouth of babes!
My three year old daughter and I were making breakfast. I poured her bowl of oatmeal, which was steaming hot. She gingerly picked up the bowl, with the aid of oven mitts, and carried it over to the open window, where a gentle breeze was blowing in, and set it on the window sill. Whilte putting it down, she said, "I think I'll let God blow on this for awhile, okay Mom?"
Smart mouths
Chances are the parents have smart mouths as well, or they have no backbones.
I would have sent the kid home last night when he condescended to you at the end of the first argument. If he is almost 11 and hasn't learned to respect other people's rules, he probably will never learn this lesson. Attitudes are pretty well set by that age and if he gets away with that kind of behavior at home, he's going to have a tough row to hoe in the real world.
Congrats to you! I would not have that kid in my house again if I were you and I would your son and that boy know the reason why.
Right from the mouths of women scorn
Too bad for the child that they have to put up with their parents being so selfish. JMO. The kid probably was excited the girlfriend thought of the little fella' or gal. A child has no concept of what Daddy did to Mommy to cause the problem or for that matter what Mommy did to Daddy. It is such a shame. Life is way too short. Again JMO.
I think those idiots run around with rattlesnakes in their mouths, too! (nm)
.
Or hard candy clicking around in their mouths, nm
