things (like maybe a birdhouse or Indian things) that come in packs of 10 - 12 to put together. A little more expensive but I use to order things like that for my cub scout den.
My husband had access to scrap wood and a wood shop. He cut out (10 or 12) pieces for a tool box. The kids loved hammering them together. (kinda a bigger project.)
Maybe plant something that would be ready to plant outside later? Maybe a project for when it gets closer to being warmer.
I would put the question in the "search" box. Even ask for projects for President's Day or whatever holidays are coming up!

Not in a million years would I want a celebrity lifestyle with all it's attendant trappings! I cannot begin to imagine the stress level that comes with it, including protecting one's privacy and that of one's family as well. Too often, I have seen a celebrity or their child brought before the glaring spotlight for America to inspect and dissect because of some err in judgment on their part. Besides, I'm not good enough with money to handle my meager salary, let alone the vast amount that a celebrity garners! LOL
So, did the person trading places with her have to
Usually the moms on that show have to try to do the other person's job, and it would be interesting to know what happened when she tried doing MT!

Article about this in the last Woman's Day magazine....
Changes go into effect 07/11, and there are tips in the article on how to fight them jacking your rates, too. I only use prepaid credit cards but I skimmed the article anyway and it seemed very interesting.
Check their archives and have a peek at it. It might be able to guide you in stopping that interest rate hike.
Good luck.

When the collectors are knocking
If you've gotten in so deep that debt collectors are at the door, know your rights:
Debt collectors may not harass, oppress or abuse you or any third party they contact. (See "Make a deal with debt collectors.")
They may not falsely imply that they are government representatives or that you have committed a crime.
They may not tell you that you will be arrested if you do not pay your debts.
I hope this helps.
Fine Homebuilding is a GREAT magazine, even if you don't plan to do all the work yourself. (sm)
I would think that you two could be your own general contractors. IMHO they're usually pretty worthless and it's difficult to find one who will be as committed to the project as you will be. Good luck though. Start with plumbing, electrical, structural stuff, then go from there.
