She should change the locks while he's at work - sm
and then leave all his stuff out at the curb. That's what I'D do......
change the locks today if you haven't already
I'm behind in reading this particular thread, but the fact that she has a key to your house caught my eye.
This woman has already demonstrated several times that she has an imbalance - possibly a severe one - going on right now. She sounds potentially violent. I'd call a locksmith right now and have him come out as soon as he can. Forget about the extra $$ they're going to charge. For me that would be $$ well spent.
Change the locks on your doors, nail the windows shut
and fill out a restraining order against him.
I have a lot, so be prepared!!!
I generally have to tape all of my favorites and watch them when I'm not working, though I will try to sneak an hour or two here and there to get some of them in!
Some of my favorites are: Gene Simmons Family Jewels, The Two Coreys, Jon and Kate plus 8, Tori and Dean, Swingtown, CSI, Ice Road Truckers, Army Wives, Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, Lost, Ghost Hunters, 2-1/2 Men, Intervention. I know there are a few I am forgetting, but I just can't think right now... I also love reruns of the Andy Griffith show, All in the Family, Golden Girls, Sanford and Son, Yes Dear, King of Queens (I don't watch those religiously, only when they happen to be on if I'm channel surfing!!)
Yes, I admit it. I AM addicted to TV! LOL! :)
Better to be prepared, then sorry s/m
We lost our power about 2 weeks ago for 24 hours and he was thanking me for my "thinking ahead" otherwise we would have had some really stinky bathrooms! I also make all the boys go outside to do #1 (we live in the country, so no flashing anyone). I am the only female and this helps cut down. Our generator blew up last January when our power went out and can't afford to replace it right now. Hubby was actually on his way out to rent on for $40 a day when the power came back on. Our basement was getting ready to flood because of the sump pump, so we were desperate.
In the summer time, our camper is also charged up so if we get desperate, we can use that too.
Where at in MI? I haven't followed the storm path today, but it looks like we are in for a good one tomorrow and then again on Sunday from what I understand. Hopefully we will have power for Christmas!
Prepared meals sm
We have a new service in our rural area which has been very successful and branched out. They rent space (have taken chefs courses). There are several different types of foods already prepared and you are given a container and choose which entree and side dish you want, pack it up yourself and just bring it home. Most women working outside the home stop on their way home from the office and love it, all they do is pop it in and warm it up. You sound like you want to do it from home. I don't know what the licensing requirements would be, but busy people need help, perhaps you could check around with local rules and regulations for food handlers. This business took off really well and is expanding to other parts of the state. I will ask my sister who uses it how they charge if you're interested, I'm not sure if it's by the food choices or by the pound. They like the variety of choosing their own diverse food choices, no pots and pans, no dishes, etc.
Be prepared to melt down there! Scorching! nm

Are you prepared to list every risk
How far do you want it to go? Fill out a huge form (that they paid someone to design instead of paying claims), that lists every supposedly avoidable risk imaginable, including amusement park rides, occasional bowling, how often and when you take a walk, if you might be a passenger on the back of someone's motorcycle, etc. Then they can spy on you (instead of paying claims) or encourage your fellow employees to be whistle blowers, catch you doing something that you said you wouldn't do, and deny your insurance! How often do you eat junk food - are you prepared to be completely honest and accurately estimate how often you intend to do that? How often do you exercise - and what if you say you will but for some reason don't? Prepare to lose your coverage over it because they can prove you a liar deliberately cheating the system. That's what this is coming to!
It's a smart thing to be prepared
Pantry is semi full. Could be better stocked, but we've got enough to keep us fed if something happened and we couldn't get to store for a awhile. We've been reading many sites that say people need to be more ready than they are. You never know when an emergency could happen and growing up in an area where we would snow storms lasting for days we were always prepared. Even today you never know when your going to get stuck.
Seeds are very important. If you don't plan and a crisis happens you cannot wait until then as that is what everyone else will be doing. I've read you should have at least 5 or more years of seeds on hand.
I am most definitely ready for a life without credit cards, shopping, etc. I can't even tell you the last time I went to a mall or shopping (except maybe some socks last year). I've got everything I need (clothes and stuff) and with the times the way they are I absolutely hate spending money on anything unless absolutely needed.
Spam - grew up on the stuff and loved it. Now I know what its made of and I would never eat it unless it was desperate times. My dad told me that in other countries it's a delicacy. I said to him yea, right up there with Moxie.
My thoughts on this as well as other locks,
if someone wants in bad enough feel they can enter. I have seen police take and pull burglar bars off a door so anything possible. At least it made me feel a little better after a guy had picked another lock I had on my back door and entered while I was there- got the dead bolts the next day.
Locks of Love
Good for you! I am glad these programs seem to be gaining a lot of notice lately. My daughter did it years ago. She had beautiful blonde hair then, now it has gone kinda blah, so glad we did it then!
It's so nice to find something so meaningful to do that just about everyone is capable of helping with.
not "prepaid" biscuits - prepared as in the can - tired!
..
Just donated to Locks of Love
This may sound silly, but on my "bucket list" for many years was: "Donate my hair to Locks of Love". I never grew it long enough, and when I got to be about 43 I started finding gray hairs. Knowing that they don't want treated hair, I decided to grow my hair long before it turned gray. It's taken me three years, but today I had a 12-inch pony tail cut off, and it's being sent to Locks of Love. Hooray! And I really hated my hair long, too. It's soooo nice not to have it scratching my neck, and I have a wonderful kicky new hairstyle!
No brainer. YOu can get locks for fridge to keep

Overdraft Protection
I'm sorry to hear about your money troubles. That's happened to us before. The lifesaver for us is the overdraft that we have for our account. Of course you have to pay off the overdraft, but we never have to worry about bouncing checks.
My antivirus protection is about to run out. Anybody got
any suggestions as to which are the best. I have Norton antivirus now.
I have inside and out protection....
3 cats are inside and 1 is outside (neighbors) Never a mouse or rat problem here.
Pssttt....locks are for honest people

FIREWALL/VIRUS PROTECTION
I am going to check out this AVG; First I used Norton, then Norton changed and screwed up my computer (years ago) and then I used McAfee which worked well. Then McAfee changed and I got viruses. Then I got some Vaio computers with Norton. Norton was good. Then, Norton was terrible and five viruses later I changed to the one that comes with my internet service and is free which found 11 viruses and Spyware stuff that Norton could not "see". Then that failed and I got some viruses and now I finally got the unintall program for the free one (which took a week to get for some reason) and I am shopping too. What I want is one that works all the time, easy to use, and especially one that has English speaking 24/7/365 help available without 50- 100.00 dollar fees just to ask a question about the software for which I have already paid good money that is not functioning! This AVG, does it have English speaking persons? Do they help you for free or a small fee?
It is called Bankruptcy Protection for this reason
I'd make a personal appearance at the bank with a letter from your attorney if the money is desperately needed.
Change Your Brain, Change Your Life
I read a book once with the above title. I can't remember the author. He has done a lot of testing (and imaging) and says that often people actually have small amounts of brain damage they are not aware of that cause chronic behavioral issues.
He says that even little incidents of falling off a bike, etc. can cause damage that people aren't aware occurred.
I'm not saying this is your son's case, but I think you will have to keep investigating. Even with those who have damage, they are able to use meds to help the brain compensate for the affected area, which helps greatly.
I'm sorry you are going through this. It has to be awful for the whole family and hurtful to know your son is feeling in such a way to act that way.
I'm sure there is an answer somewhere. I hope you find it soon! - Please keep us posted.
File for bankruptcy protection if you have equity in your home

Beware of overdraft protection on debit card though
My son moved into his own place, actually sharing a house with a friend. He got his first checking account and was actually doing well with it. He actually didn't get any checks and just used his debit card. He and his roommate decided to get cable. Evidently my son signed up for it to be automatically deducted from his checking account, which he says he did not know. That was his responsibility and his mistake obviously. He should have known when they were going to ping his account. Unfortunately, he did not. They deducted for his cable bill, and then he thought he had more in his checking account and used his check card about 12 times in a 2 day time period.. like, for 1 soda for $1.49, or $5.00 of gas. All of these charges were allowed and were put through but then were charged a $30 fee for each. Finally on the third day, the card was declined and that same day he received the notice of overdrafts in the mail. Supposedly this is a service the bank offers, which I don't understand, in that they will process your debit like an overdraft and put it through, but then charge you. I totally understand how that is a good thing for checks, as you avoid getting the check charges and bounced checks through the merchants, but when you are using a debit card, shouldn't it just decline it if you don't have enough money in there? It would have tipped him off right away that there was a problem with his account, instead of racking up over $300 in overdraft fees. We've contacted the bank several times, but they will not budge saying that this is "service" they provide and it was explained in the paperwork he received when he opened his account.
Cancel the ID theft protection on your credit cards.
If you didn’t pay for it, you’re not liable for it.
You cannot change kids. Can only change the way

Law and Order CI -- I can't believe
they moved it to USA though- every time I think about getting rid of cable they do this to me. :(
Just a few - not in order
terminal cancer
bronchial washings

scrotum
MDSO
Yuck, now I can't eat dinner later after reading all these words everyone posted. Maybe I'll post them on the refrigerator so as to enhance my diet!
CSI and Law and Order
Saw the post on the other board about transcribing for CSI or L&O docs.
Had to respond here (because this is not really a main board thing), that these shows are awesome! I love them probably because it is so much like our work. One of the accounts I type for is actually mentioned on one of the CSIs and I go crazy when I hear the name of the hospital. LOL. Anybody else loooove these shows? Just curious to see if there are only a few of us or if a lot of MTs have this in common.
there isn't any order that I sm
know of. There is a notice that ocmes in the mail that says it will just be in late May.
restraining order?
When you leave, could you try to get a restraining order? Then when he violates it, which he probably will, have him arrested. .
Nevermind.. order something...
called Lock Laces online. Expensive, but hopefully they will last.
It depends on where I order it from...sm
Pizza Hut now charges a $1.75 delivery fee and is only 1.5 miles from my house, so I typically tip 15% if we have it delivered instead of going to pick it up ourselves (Which we do more often since they raised their delivery fee). If we order from another place that doesn't pass on a delivery fee than I'll usually tip 20%.
I never, ever, put money into a tip jar anywhere.
When we do eat at restaurants I usually tip 20% or more depending on the service, but if I get suboptimal service I'll leave 10-15% depending on the level of service received and how busy the restaurant is (if they're busy I'm more forgiving than if they're not).
I'd get a restraining order, that way when- sm
he violates it he will be thrown in jail, and possibly get a mental health evaluation. You mom needs to do this as he has threatned her, etc. You never know when he might further go over the edge and followthrough (i.e. kill your mom), if he ever does you will obviously feel very guilty that you sat back and did nothing.
Look like a good belly rub is in order!!!

No mentors, formerly done via mail order, etc.
I answered this before but don't know where it went. We worry he is being used but he asked us to think positive. We are sick about it but can't dare say anything. He is doing his best to ask for help, a competitor just laughed in his face at Manhattan. Newer product previously ordered online or through catalogs, no prior salesperson cold calling.
I usually give $5, or 20% depending on how much I order.
I know they work hard for their money, and believe it or not, there are still a lot of people out there that NEVER tip so I try to make a small difference. I know people in my family who have NEVER tipped and do not feel like they have to. I think it's rude consider wait staff usually never makes minimum wage and something like $3.35 plus tips, so, they are very dependent on tips to make a liveable wage.
depends on if they add gas surcharge of $4 when I order -sm
If not, I give a few dollars per pizza. If they charge that surcharge when I call in the order then I tip less. Some companies are charging it now and some are not, and it does not depend where they are delivering to.
The pizza place we order from
I have assumed that would go to the driver.
yes! order an appetizer - they are huge, enough for 2 (or more). NM

Well, he or she won't have the sleep study, but may order one for *you.* LOL sm
I can't believe it; I'm communicating like some of my docs now, with the unfortunate wording.

I think DNA are in order for Jackson kids
I have seen the kids, all 3 of them and without a doubt do not think those are Michael Jackson's kids. One by a surrogate, well all 3 because apparently Debbie Rowe gave up her claim to kids for money and after they came out from behind the costume masks, there is not 1 thing, not 1 that looks like they are mixed, one kid is a towhead, the others have no facial features, hair nor any skin characteristics that resemble their father. I doubt this would ever be done but frankly have thought from the start Jackson was not the father and furthermore after staying behind the masks, blankets and things the children were behind for so long, thought then about covering up for the fact there was no blackness there.
Anette -- where did you order it from, would love a thermal one - nm
?? thx
I have an insane idea- order both--- be interesting - sm
to see how many eat chicken and how many pizza. I have a SIL that is impossible to please when it comes to food. My mom would always call her though and ask her what she would like; then she'd make what we will all eating (Turkey, spaghetti, whatever) then also make skinless chicken (usually) for my SIL so she would have something to eat as well. Yeah she thought it was a pain to do but she did it to please her DIL. So again, I'd just suggest back to her, hey pizza is growing old, how about we get pizza and chicken, and you know mashed potatoes is not the only side, they also have mac n' cheese, cole slaw, rolls, etc. Have a mini buffet with pizza and chicken and have some fun.
don't believe they were the bottom 3, Ryan said results in NO ORDER. (nm)

you can pay attorney for an Order To Refinance for Ex; if he can't finance,
nm
I just realized that they are all lined up in order of their ages!
Max is the oldest (the one on the far left), and he will be 6 on Christmas day. Bailey (middle) just turned 4 this past summer, and scooter (end) just turned 2 this summer.
Tell them, my own boss, years ago no restraining order
for a husband. They could beat you and half kill you and you were considered their property. I know because have been there.
I once called in a pizza order to be picked up
and the guy on the phone said off-handedly....I don't need to charge you the extra dollar since it is not being delivered. I asked if that dollar went to the delivery person and he sheepishly said no. Really ticked me off.
And where did the $$ come from in order to have the fertility treatments and in vitro in the first p
I had a close friend who ironically was an obstetrical nurse who went through three trials of all this, and with medical insurance it cleaned her and her husband's bank account out, ironically, they ended up adopting a toddler and she then became pregnant NATURALLY!!! but anyway, I know first-hand the expense, what gives in this case, the parents had no money, as I mentioned below, this was reported on CNN and MSNBC.
Can't stop shaking my head in amazement! And if she were "obsessed" as a teenager with having babies for the sake of having babies, shouldn't the parents have gotten her some SERIOUS psychhiatric help, there is a big problem here, this young lady has unbelievable psychological issues that need to be addressed fast, and for her own happiness? Apart from financial, how does one mother adequately nurture and love each of these babies as individuals, all 14, giving them all the love, attention, care, instructions, etc., that they all so richly need and deserve in their little lives???
