My daughter took all her friends' pictures
She has a 35-mm SLR film camera, nothing fancy. Her friends paid for the film, developing at a good camera store,and gas for her car. They brought different outfits and accessories and drove around town one day taking pictures in different locations. One of them used her camera and took her picture. They ended up being some of the best photos in the yearbook. Very different from all the rest of the posed pictures taken at the beach. Didn't cost me anything, so I gave her the $65 for her yearbook.
I trust my daughter but not her friends
I think my daughter knows right from wrong and would not do anything inappropriate, but I worry about the boys. They seem to be able to do a lot more than what I allow my daughter to do... some of them are older and also they have very bad manners IMO. I wish she would find someone else to hang out with. It seems like that harder I try to change her behavior, the harder she pulls in the other direction. Are all teenaged girls like that? I guess I was too at that age, but it still worries me.

Even though there was a devastating hurricane by that name, I still love it and always wanted a granddaughter. Have all sons and they all had sons. Thought I would have a chance this time as my 35 yo son and wife are pregnant. But no, ultrasound shows another boy on the way.
At least the family name will continue. 
You do realize that with Katrina damage
At least in Mississippi and Lousiana part....they may have rebuilt some hotels but the surrounding locality looks like a war zone; most of the boat docks and walking/fishing piers were completely destroyed and probably haven't been rebuilt, and many of the cute local beach restaurants are gone. It might be educational re Katrina damage if that's what you're after...but it's not what I'd call a happy place to vacation at this time.
Would suggest that Katrina be omitted, at least for a few years! :) nm

I remember Mexico sending aide when Katrina hit
It really surprised me, and I was very touched by it. I remember thinking at that time, all these countries we've helped and the only place that sends help our way is poor ol' Mexico.
How much money rasied for Katrina, how much money for the diasters due to the tidal waves and what?
Every single one of them have had some smoke around it with the money not getting to where it was supposed to go. I did not contribute, I hardly watched, was not caught up again as I have seen things like this before. They should give a all you can give benefit for Darfur where people are being massacared each and every day. Genocide going on there each and every day. I have not seen any benefits to help them out yet.

I swear, I have this one friend who just gets mad at me stupid stuff. I told her a few weeks ago that I could probably go out this sat. but now I can't make it (just dinner). It should be between the daughter and the friend if the friend is going to pay any of the fees. They are teenagers, not preschoolers.

We name almost all our cats Bob, but we have last names, which we call them by like:

and my friend had a Maine Coon named Joe Bob! He was huge!

If there is a will but no executor named, then
the state steps in as executor and makes sure that the heirs named in the will get their rightful share, according to your grandfather's wish.
Only in the case when there are no heirs and no will, the assets go to the state.

I've always said it with the H simply because of my cousin's name. He is named Herbert, Herb for short, so it is very hard for me to think of cilantro as an erb.

As you and your brother are named your grandtather's will as

The white cat is named Spotty because when he was little he had a black smudge between his ears. Now he is all white. Our black cat is named Ping Ball because he sleeps all day and pings off the walls all night. My oldest cat is named Mittens because she has extra toes front and back and her front paws are shaped like little mittens. Our big fluffy Maine coon cat is named Sashee. We named her Sassy at first. DH used to call her Sasha. Then we went to get her fixed and found out that SHE was a HE. So Sashee is a combination of both.
Our turtle is named Skurtle. Yes, close to Yertel, but the son was insistent. LOL.
My dad had a German shepard when he was growing up named Soxapuss. Not a clue as to that one. LOL.
Sometimes if you just wait to see the pet, a name will just pop into your head. But in our case, it helped to have a little kid.

Winston (the Churchill), Patton (the general), and Sherman (the tank). All are little yappy dogs with severe "little man" syndromes. My husband picked those names. All the other names I picked...garden-variety simple girly girl names for my female farmyard animals.

I can not see too many parents jumping at this opportunity. It is a noncovered service by all insurances. It is given in a series of 3 separate injections. The current recommendation is to be given to young girls between the ages of 10 to 12. So if a parent decides to vaccinate her little girl against this, I guess the "bird and the bees talk" will have to be undertaken before the little girl asks "Why I am going to the doctor to get a shot, and what is it for? (given the very natural inquistive nature of children on all subjects.)
