Our local hospitals used to allow payments you could afford, as long as you were making monthly payments on time, but then they started sending all bills out stating minimum $100 a month or you would be turned over to collections. Even if you are paying your bill in good faith and can prove the amount you pay is the only amount you can at the time, they don't care.....they just turn it over to collections and let them hound you to death.
