I just bought a new Visioneer 9420 scanner, in fact just installed it today. Haven't had a chance to try it out yet.
I had an Epson scanner that was pretty good but I've had it 4 or 5 years I think and it had developed a couple of glitches (it scanned everything a little dark and if I tried to scan something that wasn't square or rectangular it would do really weird stuff and cut some of it off).
Hope the new Visioneer is better than your old one.....
