of course I've seen the ads, but in a nutshell, what does NutriSystem consist of. I know it's prepackaged foods too, but how many calories? Is it essentially WW, but they do the points for you already packaged?

Nutrisystem
I have tried numerous diets, Weight Watchers included. I have been on Nutrisystem now for 2 months and have lost 15 pounds!!! It is the easiest diet I have ever been on. I am never, ever hungry! It sounds expensive, but my husband and I added it up. It is around $9 to $10 a day for three meals, and two snacks. This includes the foods you buy yourself (fruit, veggies, etc.).
It is a very healthy diet, and a no-brainer. You just choice your entree for your three meals and add fruit, veggie, and/or a dairy product. The food really tastes good too!
I am sold on it big time!!! Just my 2 cents worth!
Nutrisystem
Hi it's me again. Nutrisystem has a wonderful maintenance program! They wean you off of their food just as Jenny Craig would, etc. I love the on-line counseling and all of the help boards, as well as their chat room! When I was doing Jenny Craig, their counseling consisted of going to town to pick up your food, they weigh you, and get your new food - - BIG DEAL! I have received excellent counseling from Nutrisystem. I personally love the food. I have only found two things that I do not care for, and I just do not order them in my next auto-delivery. Also, let's say you have ordered two or more of something, and you try it and do not like it, you just return it within 30 days and they will replace it with whatever you do like. I think it is a wonderful program, and I have done the numbers and I do not feel it is that expensive. It is less expensive than having to take blood pressure pills, having sleep apnea, diabetes, or worse stroke or death. That is where I am at the present time. I have to lose this weight and NS has helped me greatly so far!
I ordered just a week's worth of food to try it first just to see if I liked the food and what it was like. This way, I wasn't out that much if I did not like it. I think it is worth giving it a try, don't ya think?
I have been wanting to try nutrisystem
and like you said it seems to be a no brainer but I was afraid of the expense and someone told me that the food was horrible. Is this true?
The cost of Nutrisystem
is fairly reasonable in my eyes. However, I am financially able to stay on it, where I know there are others who cannot. It costs approximately $270.00 a month, and then you still have to buy your veggies, dairy products, and fruits. It is based on the glycemic index, where you eat good carbs. Most of the time I do not have a problem with being really hungry; however, there are times when I am. I am going to be 50 years old and have undergone a partial hysterectomy but I wonder if I still do not have some PMS symptoms and this is when I am the most hungry. I read up on Curvelle and it sounds pretty safe and it appears to work. I read some of the testimonies, etc. I might try it and see how it works.
Nutrisystem - that was nasty!
The bars and cereals were okay, but the dinners and chips were awful. I didn't get to the soups. Thank goodness I got them on QVC and could return the unused stuff for a full refund. Never again!!!
I'll stick to healthy foods over that junk. YUK
has anyone done nutrisystem to lose weight sm.....
and was able to keep the weight off after you stopped eating their food? i'm tired of being stuck at the same weight. i was thinking of joining weight watchers. i've done that before and lost, but i had a 6 mos old baby dragging him along. now he's 5 and i'm ready to try again. but just wondered if anyone had success with nutrisystem. thanks
