them, but you also must find out how they are getting in. I had mice getting in from behind the dishwasher, and I discovered it when one took a 3-foot leap across the kitchen floor from one point of cover to slip through this opening (in mid-flight!) into a crack next to the DW. This crack was only about 3/4 inches wide. I got a handyman to pull out the DW and sure enough, he found the opening back there. He plugged it with steel wool and then packed something into the crack I could see next to the DW. I think we only trapped 3 and that was the end of it, but OH THE MESS.

We live in a tourist trap state. We are going to drive 200 miles a day and visit one tourist trap after another in a big 1,000 mile loop, without back tracking, until we get back home.
