Not judging honey, believe me, I speak...

my mind and you could tell if I was judging others. This place is teeming with unhappy, whining, complaining women (just look at some of the posts all over this site) and that is not a judgement, it is fact. As far as being in the same situation as others one day, if you read any of my posts you would see that I have been there, done that and changed my ways. Should something happen, we have learned to save money, have enough put away to last a year and not have to touch any retirement, etc. That took a lot of determination and hard work on our part and we are proud of it.
I am get a good chuckle out of some women who accuse other women of "living off their husbands" and "where would you be without his money". I can make my own money, but my husband doesn't tell me that i need to work and doesn't tell me how much I need to make. He is the provider in this family and has never once asked me to work harder, earn more or get a different job. Remember when men used to do that and our mother's stayed home and raised the family and didn't work? Are you jealous of your girl friends or family members that don't have to work or who live debt free or do you hold that judgement for those you do not know?
Enough of this for now. I'm sure someone will have something to bash me about later on...go ahead, it just shows how very immature some women can be.

You ARE judging -- judging businesses open and
It IS judgementalism at it's finest.
You think because someone doesn't agree with YOUR views, that THEY should have to work on that day, simply because of views.
You think that because someone might celebrate Christmas on Dec 20 due to family/schedule issues, that THEY shouldn't be able to live a normal life on Dec 25.
Very, very judgemental and extremely limited in perspective.
I understand you are Pentecostal. I'm more than familiar with that denomination. It has nothing to do with any of the topics you state. It just makes a bigger emphasis in my mind of WHY you think like you do. Sad.
I hope you have a good day. I'm thankful I am not like you. You don't make me want to be in any way. How's that for being an example and drawing others to Him? You're repelling, not drawing.
Go have yourself a great religious day.
why can people immigrate to the US if they don't yet speak the language? Canada you have to speak
We briefly looked at emigrating to Canada. They have a point system for admission. You must know at least one and preferably two of their national languages to be admitted (English and French). You also must be young, healthy, and either independently wealthy, or educated and highly skilled in high-income professions. You cannot have a family member with a chronic illness, even if they are not coming with you, because you might send your income home to help them rather than spending it in the Canadian economy. Every child or dependent you have is measured against your wage earning power and if it looks like your family might tax the social system too much, you are turned down. This all makes perfect sense even though it may seem unfair (we looked at it before and decided not to go due to their arms laws. Now they wouldn't take us anyway because I have been diagnosed with MS since then).
This is very, very different from the US who it seems will take anyone and everyone.
I heard about a US chicken processing factory that was working with Welfare to put people to work because their supply of immigrant labor had run short. So, why don't we limit immigration until every American is working who can? And pay them a living wage with healthcare (illegal immigrants are too afraid to ask for these things and so the wage drops and benefits are not provided).
Where did you get that I was judging anyone?
I'm not judging anyone, ks. And, I don't get what you're talking about regarding "spewing the word from your mouth and acting differently behind closed doors". I try to be humble in my faith. As I said, I may not agree with a person's lifestyle, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't be respectful to him/her. God put us on this Earth to do HIS work or genuinely didn't you know that? This thread was about what stores wouldn't you shop at and I replied that I wouldn't shop at WalMart because they sell gay/lesbian material. That is because I do not agree with it because I believe the scripture referring to homosexuality as being sinful, ungodly, and an abomination.
I don't know where you got that I was judging YOU or your son in law. sm
I never said anything disparaging about you. The worst I said about him was that it sounded like he was underprepared (you didn't give a big history on his work experience other than that he was new to cold call sales, which is what I commented on).
I certainly didn't judge him for taking a job, only questioned if it was the right job for him.
And where did you get that I thought it was "nonsense?" I never said that, never implied that.
I DID give you suggestions that YOU could do to ease your mind...you really can find a LOT of your needed info simply by Googling. That wasn't a demeaning response, it was truthful...I checked it out before I suggested it.
I kicked NO ONE when they were down.
I am not judging, if I were then I
would talk to her about her excessive alcohol use, her marijuana use and on and so forth. I am not past talking with, but frankly I have felt she is very judgemental, critical of me and just does not even take the time to know me as I am. I do not ever get in her life, stay on 1 side of town and she on the other. Just like she said walking on egg shells, that has been my take on her for a very long time.
Here we go again. Judge not, I'm not judging. I am following
that is how I can say what a store should and shouldn't sell!
No, you won't change me otherwise. I'm not judging
the Bible. God will judge in the end. I simply don't shop at stores that sell gay and lesbian items.
I agree...too much judging others. nm

Are you judging her mother by what
she told you or personal experience?
and not judging you at all-happy that you (sm)
have not experienced the horrible guilt that many of us have. Some do and some do not, but it is a risk...you don't know for sure how you will feel until later. It is sort of a knee-jerk reaction oftentimes, to try to quickly "solve the problem" but many people have terrible guilt years later and have to get help with it.
Judging people I don't know:
If you're one of the sickos who defend their right to abuse children because it's their religion, you deserve to be judged along with them.
I'm not judging you but with there being so many women who do (sm)
have terrible guilt and remorse after ABs it would seem that there should be more involved to get one, at least a visit with an unbiased psychiatrist who tells the full story of how one might feel later. I had someone say to me, "Now this is your decision right? Later on you don't get to blame anyone else, not your boyfriend, not your friends, no one else." I said I wouldn't and that was the extent of my counseling. This was in the mid-90s. I think you should have to go apply for one, be given a counseling session, wait a week or two, and see if that is still what you want to do. I think women should be given extensive information on all of their options and possible emotional repercussions so that at least when they make their own personal "choice" at least it is a well-informed choice. For me it is not so much guilt toward God as it is to the child I allowed to be killed. It is not a religious thing at all.
No one is judging a dog. Dogs
don't know right from wrong. They are animals. The point that I continue to make is that IT DOES NOT MATTER what this elderly man did. The pets in the home attacked and killed him. No PET should ever be capable by temperament of attacking and killing a human being.
For the sake of your argument, if the man reached out with a cane and rapped the dog on the head, in your mind would that justify the reactions of the dog to kill the person who struck him? How many other dog breeds would run behind the couch or under a table when confronted with abusive treatment? How many other dog breeds would growl? Bark? Nip? Bite? No one is saying that an animal should not defend itself, but a dog whose defense is to kill a human is a dog that should NOT be kept as a pet. A dog is an animal and does not think like a human, as you have pointed out, and that is precisely the thing that makes them unpredictable and makes the pitbull breed attacked unprovoked. It is all in what the dog perceives as a threat, which a human cannot always predict, or more importantly, cannot always prevent.

Stop judging people who you do not know
Honey!
I am not sure why, but honey always helps when I get that really tight and irritated feeling in my throat. Even just taking a teaspoon full before I go to bed helps, especially for when you have the irritating postnasal drip. And its great for kids who get that tickly cough in the middle of the night. Give it a try!
Thank you both. I am going to get some honey (sm)
I have not been tested for mono but I have been around 2 children very recently who were diagnosed with mono. I told the doc this but I have had mono in the past so she said that probably wasn't the problem now. I definitely trying the honey and pepper. I would stick a bar of soap down my throat right now if I thought it would help...lol. thank you
Yeah, that would make me ill. I am not judging you by any means sm
as to the whys of your son living with them. If you were married to a husband like mine and then had 3 boys totally dedicated to sports - when it comes to that I have NO SAY whatsoever about my 3 sons playing ball. Their dad takes care of all of that. I don't think I'd let them move away and I don't my husband would either, BUT, if they did and my ex sister in law was the way you describe yours to be, then I'd be very upset too!
Right now I don't get along with my in laws. At all. Never have. And to imagine that one of my boys living with them. Ugh. Makes me ill just thinking about that.
What the he## is her problem with you any way? I mean, seriously? If she had any sense whatsoever she would smile, be sweet, and only say nice things about you ALWAYS.
Listen, hon. Trust me on this one. Your son will grow up and see her true colors and resent her if she continues to spew hate or not like you, etc. You are his mom. I know my boys would be the same if anyone disrespected me like that. I mean, their own dad can't even look at me wrong before they are all over him like you know what.
Let the natural thing just happen. Do the right thing. Say the right thing. Be there for him, always. Ask about his aunt. Be a huge part of his life even if he isn't there with you. Call often. And if she continues to be a twit, then you will be the winner in the end, even though right now it may not feel like it.
Good luck.
You're not alone honey . . .
Being a wife and mom is a labor of love. Women give so much of themselves. The kids probably won't get it until they have children of their own and experience the same thing. It would be nice to feel appreciated now and then, a little thought behind the gift is all you're asking. Crawl back into bed if you want, or how about a hot bath and a glass of wine. Try to do something nice for yourself. I know it's not the same but what can we do? Chin up.
I have heard this too, but it has to be honey - sm
made in your local area, that way it has the pollen, etc. from your area to help your allergies. My neighbor just started doing this about 2 weeks ago and swears it is working. I am thinking about trying it too (cannot hurt) as my allergies (pollen, dust, mold) are a lot worse this year though the worst is over for me now.
Oh honey, I am a woman...
just can do things on my own...have a large home too and still manage to have lots of time, a clean house and work 10 hour days. I can easily afford a housekeeper too but why when I am perfectly capable myself. DH gets to come home to a home cooked meal every night, a very clean home and a happy wife who does not complain! Not all men want simpering, helpless women.
You could try mixing it with honey or
adding a bit of juice to it.
Honey, she is not MY daughter....
she is a child that I gave up for adoption who is someone else's true daughter. I have stated that I would be willing to meet her face to face, but just because I don't have the warm fuzzies you think I should have about meeting her doesn't make me hateful. Do you feel that all of us who gave children up for adoption are supposed to want a relationship with them? That is an irrational way of thinking, as far as I'm concerned. Am I curious, yes; am I regretful, no; do I harbor bitterness towards her, no. That being said, I am not so curious that it would haunt me to the end if I never met her.
honey and eggs
If you really want a side business, keep chickens or bees. People like to buy organic food.
Honey, you wish you had it as good as me!! :)
Thank goodness I'm not one of you who eeks out a liviing typing fingers to the bone, worrying about bills, etc. Have a good life and know it! Thanks though for your concern!
Merry Christmas to all!
Thanks honey! We would be fine without my job thanks
to living right and not beyond one's means. And BTW, bon bons are fattening, you won't catch this MT with seat spread! Well, this has been fun, but my work day is done and Christmas vacation has begun! So, toodles to you all. Very Merry Christmas!
Did you try the pure honey?
NM
I think the honey is starting to help....at least (sm)
it is temporarily soothing. Thank you all for your suggestions
Someone who is atheist clearly is not going to Heaven. No judging, just stating fact as
per the Holy Bible.
I wasn't judging, just stating the facts ma'am....
these were things that were mentioned in the trial. And the baby and the methadone thing was accused by Larry B, I think he would know if she was taking methadone, and she was on something, we all know that.
Honey, I feel your pain..
We have 5 friggin kids..THREE of which are teenagers and the oldest is almost 26 but going to college full-time so I have footing that bill along with all of his other bills he has acquired as an adult..Then, we have the almost 20-year-old daughter who is unable or just doesn't want to work..so we took her back out of the homeless spectrum and got her a home..which we are footing the bill for...Thus, is the reason mom has to work 2 FT jobs..So, my answer to our kids thinking they are EVER moving back home when we boot them out is this...We're buying a motor home when they're gone. On the back it will be named "Kid's Inheritance." Then, as we pull out of the driveway, and if we see them in the rearview mirror, we're hitting the gas!!! and it's like this.."kids, if you can catch us, you can move in, but we won't be doing the speed limit." How's that !!! As you know, as a parent, you have to spend your time laughing or you will just start bawling uncontrollably until they come haul you away.
I just read that someone mixes it with honey in a cup of s/m
hot water twice a day. She cannot believe the difference it has made overall, and NO hot flashes!! It seems too good to be true. I will try the tablets first and if that does not work I will try the "tea" mixture. Thanks!
raspberry no caffeine hot tea w/honey nm

Honey, if you are the one posting about all the problems sm
with your father, you need more than jut a phone block. I can't say exactly what needs to be done, but you are here every week (and you need a place to vent and ask for help, so keep coming here), but there is so much more to your problems than "dad always calling, always at the house, always asking about mom". You need a legal analyst to come into this situation and get some formal help and training. I sincerely hate that you are going through this, but your life sounds like a soap opera and I honestly think you need more help then we can give. Good luck and prayers to you.
Shoulda walked over and said,"Here, honey. Let me

Oh honey...go take a pill and have a stiff drink too...
some kids are just plain bratty and mean, bios and steps, no matter what the age. Many kids know how to manipulate the situation to their advantage, especially kids from divorce. Some of us are adult enough to see through it and make others aware. Nothing wrong with kids coming first, however, parents need to know when to reign little Tommy or Susie in and stop catering to them all the time.
I did that yesterday with the Honey Nut Cheerios snack mix
.
Baby Cakes, I LOVE it...thanks honey!
BTW, you are hardly starting a revolution. It is a little piece of skin...get over it (or maybe GET some of it!)
Well I guess it is a pretty sensational story judging by the media coverage!

Honey, you're not here by accident, the world did not just "happen"!...
Will pray for you!
Hand him a lonog honey-do list one day after work,

Burt's bees hands down - have a tube everywhere - original, don't like honey
xx
Find a local beekeeper who sells honey. I know, sounds crazy. but sm
here in our town of 200,000, a local beekeeper sells honey from the local bees where people with severe allergies will go and buy a bottle, eat 2 tablespoons a day for a few days and SWEARS by this method.
This is the only natural cure I have seen that actually works. The bees pollinate the stuff you are allergic to and then you eat their honey....and then you become immunue to the allergens in the air and it works.
I would say no, I speak though as one of the few who cannot -sm
breastfeed though (apparently something is missing or does not work right anyways ), so both my kids were formula fed. It is dangerous to have it drilled into you that you should breast-feed. I tried and tried not knowing any better and my poor daughter basically starved her first week of life, once the doctor's realized I was not making any milk they/we got her on formula right away. I had been giving her about 4 ounces a day of formula anyway once we suspected something was wrong, but they basically yelled at me for doing that. Luckily my child made it through okay and boy could she suck it down once she had something to drink. Too much emphasis is put on breastfeeding, etc. Most of us were probably formula fed and I am sure we all turned out okay.
Please, you cannot speak for all of us...
because I happen to be a Jewish person who believes ALL PEOPLE are the sons and daughters of G_d......and let us not forget that Jesus was Jewish!
We are all the sons and daughters of The Lord......we all need to open our minds.
Have a GREAT Saturday and Shabbot Shalom!!
Me too, but only if I could speak

Honey, I grew up on the south shore of Long Island, NY in hurricane territory...
ya know how to duck and cover. I've never been through a major earthquake or a real tsunami yet though. Hey, there's always time for that. Cat
I can't speak from experience, but (sm)
by what you describe, it sounds as if it was caught early. This makes all the difference, from what I have read with all cancers, but especially with ovarian cancer - very hard to detect. So that cyst was probably a good thing for you!! I will keep you in my prayers. Let us know how things go.
Ask to speak with his supervisor and also
write a letter to the bank (and headquarters) telling them what happened and make sure you get the man's name and refer to him often in your letter.
speak for yourself SWEETHEART--sm
but not this person. Just stay away from me...I don't want to get hit by any lightening bolts aimed at you. lol. and please stop trying to shove your atheist beliefs down my throat, too. It is all BS as far as I am concerned.
Excuse, did not speak about yours
you must have been trying to read between the lines and never said anything about your dear one. You imaged.
