Has anyone on this board who suffers with chronic low back pain had any experience with this treatment?  I have/am suffering from chronic low back pain caused by a car accident 4 years ago in which I was rear-ended.  I've changed my lifestyle drastically in order to avoid back surgery.  Any opinions/thoughts would be appreciated.

i had a subacromial decompression
for a frozen shoulder on 11/1/06. i then had 12 weeks of physical therapy. It is still sore but at least now I can use it. The surgery was very successful however you may have a different problem. Good luck! not pleasant but what are you going to do?
Has anyone ever had a spinal fusion, esp lumbar? If so .... SM
how long were you out of work.  Now, I realize that this will probably vary, but I am more than likely facing one in the future but am not quite there yet, and my mind is just full right now thinking about my back and what all we're going to do, then the surgery down the road.  Just wondering about being out of work after the surgery is done.  Has anyone ever had this?  Mine will be a multiple-level fusion, at that.  Thanks for any comments on this.
