I love animals so much and this is just precious!
Have 2 cats and 1 kitten and love where the kitty is grooming the deer. Thanks for sharing this!
Love Hell's Kitchen
used to watch 90210, I'm finally sick of watching re-runs. My new guilty pleasure is One Tree Hill on Soap Net. Love Survivor.
Love puppies of all kinds! How precious yours must look

My parents gave my daughter
and 2 neices tiny diamond studs when they were about this age. I kept them in my bedroom and decided when and where she could wear them. They earrings has screw on backs, so all 3 girls, now teenagers, still have them. If you decide to do this, check on the screw on backs, very hard to lose that way.
I gave my daughter a hand mixer and...
you would have thought I gave her a check for 1 million dollars! She is a semi-single mom (deadbeat boyfriend who does not work, she does, but that is another story!) with 3 children who works hard at a just above minimum wage job. She gets by though. I asked her what she wanted and she said new pots and pans, a cookbook and a hand mixer and I got her all 3. I asked her yesterday what the best gift she got was and she said the mixer. Made me very happy to know that something so little meant so much to her!

And.... I think Hotty Jungle Man Ozzy should have a show of his very own. What an animal. Is there anything he can't do?!
Reading your post it is clear the love you gave this wonderful animal SM

thoughout her life. You were together for many years and you gave her a wonderful life. Please try to always remember that.   A woman who cleaned for my mom cleaned my apartment once and when I showed her a dog collar that I have that my darling Westie wore I broke down. This woman knew my Westie and loved her, too. I cried and said I had some feelings of guilt that I was dealing with. This wonderful woman said something to me that might help you now. She said

"Just think of the life you gave her.  Now think of the life she might have had if she had fallen into the hands of someone who did not love her."  That really helped me a lot. I hope in time it will help you, too. God Bless you.

Should I use a table cloth or
I have a very pretty dining room table. Always before when having company over I have had a tablecloth on (mostly because my kittycats had put some minor scratches on the table which I had removed). I am using chargers this year under the plates and was wondering, should I just let the beauty of the wood show through or should I use the cloth once again?
I say no table cloth!
I just had a dinner party and did not use a table cloth and got so many compliments on how nice the table looked. Always nice to try new things.
Precious, Precious Baby!
She is gorgeous. Congratulations, Grandma! :-)
Sure she is mentally ill and I am sure all the drugs and the drug-laced lollipops didn't help!

It's my daughter's name too! I love the name!

If you love your daughter and she loves
you, this will be solved. But, I would not change the way I am. I would try to talk it over with her. Are there specific problems that cause this estrangement?

I mean, your daughter is no teenager anymore that her behaviour could be excused.

There are children who will always see in the mother first of all 'the mother' and not 'the friend'. And sometimes this is caused because the mother always acts as a mother toward her children.

I think your daughter should mellow down and respect you as her mother and show her love for you, same with you. There has to be a way to achieve this, communicate and compromise.....
Homemade lollipops? Blonde & chocolate brownies? Rice Krispie treats? Critter cupcakes? nm

Tough Love advice. My 19-year-old daughter is making me nuts..
I don't even know where to start with this one but I'll just to give a short summary. My 19-year-old daughter has been troubled since I can remember. For example, her terrible twos went beyond that..if you didn't peel her orange right, she didn't want it and would throw it across the room. I think her diagnosis is best described as ODD (Oppositional Defiant Disorder) and bipolar. She has a quick temper and at age 5 blackened her 12-year-old brother's eyes with a book because he got in her face. She has annoyed everyone she has come into contact with. She is very immature. We have tried everything to get her help because once she became a teenager it just got worse.  She is self-destructive and I became the enabler and now it is out of control. She would not go to school so she does not have an education.  We had to call the cops numerous times because of her violent outbursts. We had her arrested when she stole our credit cards so she could learn a lesson but the courts did nothing. She was supposed to be court ordered to have a job and attend school, of which she did nothing and there was no punishment. She has never suffered any consequences no matter how hard we tried. She was charged with 10 felonies for the credit card theft but got nothing. She just batted her big blue eyes at the judge and it all went away. I have paid her rent for a year or two, bought her a car and paid for it. All of these of course when she had a job but right after I did all of this she stopped going. She got into meth..You would not believe my heartbreaking nightmare. Some days I just don't think I can take another minute of it. At this point, she is now homeless because I just cannot keep paying her bills.  She just totaled the car so she has no car and no job and still wants me to pay her way and she has lost her license due to DUI and driving again without privileges. It never stops. How far do I take this? She calls me for money that she says is to eat but if I keep giving her money then what is her motivation to go to work. I kept thinking if she hit bottom she could only come up..but she likes the bottom and just hovers there. She adapts to any environment. So when does she wake up and do you think tough love would work on a child with mental issues. I paid all of her doctor bills so she could get help and on medication but just found out she hasnt been taking them. I know I have so many questions but I have no idea how to "fix her" anymore. I know she needs to help herself but how much is she actually capable of being on drugs and mental health issues. This is devastating to our family and when I don't help her she becomes suicidal and I want to just hang up because I know she is manipulating but what if this is the time she really does something. I tried to take her into the hospital because of her meth addiction because she finally asked for help and was told there really wasn't any programs for her because she didn't have insurance so I left just thinking.."well, I guess you'll have to do it on your own, there is no help." Now, that is heartwrenching. At some point, I know she just has to grownup, but I don't know if I can survive this. I'm stressed 24/7 and sadly whenever she calls I get such bad anxiety. I can hardly be around her because she is so manipulative and I feel guilty that I try to avoid her. I always thought it'd be different if I just loved her more, spend more time with her and so as a mom, I blame myself because she is so messed up. Guilt just fuels the enabling.. Help.. any suggestions, advice??
Thank you, I will try that first with the wash in
And I know what you mean about a toner and that's why I'm hesitant to go back to the salon for this. I like the sound of a golden blonde with slightly lighter highlights. Can I do that myself do you think or should I ask them to do it?
$12 for wash, cut, dry; usu tip $3

Wash your car yourself.
because their sprayers chipped a piece of paint on our car. There was already a tiny chip there, so I couldn’t really argue with them about it. You car deserves personal attention. Don’t spend $10 for a machine that can’t get dirt in areas you can.
I wash every day but
rotate between 2 or 3 different shampoos. I find that my hair does better if I change the shampoo every few days. No conditioner when I have short hair. If its longer then I need it to get a brush through it easier after. I also don't style it much at all. I think the hair dryers, curling irons, etc. really do a number on hair. If I am going somewhere or if it is cold outside I will blow dry and style it but I try to do as little as possible in the way of heat. I use hairspray every day though to help give it a little body and not end up static-y in winter.
All I know is of course they have to wash their feet
because they sure "stepped in ****" when they came to this country! :)
I simply wash most of them in the
I turn them upsidedown and swish them in a couple of inches of water. Let the water out of the tub and just let them lay there and drain OR set them outside in the sun to dry. Be careful if it is windy!
Plant wash
I run mine through a short cycle in the top rack of the dishwasher.
I would wash several times - may even
try putting baby oil in first or something - it eventually will loosen and come out if exposed to enough water.  Then maybe try to comb out.
I wash mine every other day
I have pretty short hair so I can get away with it. If I have to I can just wet it a little bit and put some gel in it and it's good to go.
I think whether or not you wash your hair

everyday has a lot to do with the type of hair you have and the type of products you use on it.  I have what I consider "normal" hair.  No perms, just colored, almost shoulder length.  When I went through the "big hair" phase, I had to wash my hair everyday just to get the products out.  Now that my hair looks more "natural", I can usually skip a day.

I only skip a day, though, when I'm not going anywhere other than the grocery store.  Whether my hair looks good or not, I don't feel good about myself unless my hair is washed and styled and makeup on.  But that's just me.

How often can she wash her face? sm

Can you imagine having to take all of those, or even 1/2, off first?  What a job.

Wash in hottest water, dry on hot that's it. nm
.
I do both ways, wash by hand and also
clean out food particles and wash in the dishwasher. I have no reservations about doing that. The only thing I don't like are family plates set on floor and animals eating out of those and reusing. Yuck.
Gently hand wash it in the sink and let air dry outside. nm

Sick of having to wash my hair EVERY day - suggestions? (sm)
I know people who do not have to do this but I have no choice.  If I skip one day of washing my hair, it looks like it has been a week and my face breaks out!!  It would save me so much time if I could skip every other day or something.  Anyone else have this problem or ideas on what to do?
Try Cetaphil. They make body wash too. nm

Precious pup!

Picture of your baby just brought back sooo many memories of our precious BUBBA.  He was a rescue dog with many major health issues but never/ever complained and gave us about 7-8 years of sheer joy.  We are now dogless for the first time in many, many years and want another boxer so much but the thought of losing another one is still so heavy on our minds.  When we took him in, we immediately bonded, then found out he was heartworm infested... NOT A PROBLEM: He never missed a step... even gained weight during  HW treatment! A few years later, had a tumor on his back leg which we had removed.. then later had the  limb amputated... still, he just kept on going, without a problem. God, what a trooper.  Finally, succumbed to cancer, never gave up or even complained until the last day of his life. Such a precious, darling friend... to the end.  Just not sure I am ready to go through this again so soon.  Boxers  are such the noble breed, and I am also a Great Dane and English Bulldog owner and lover, all of the good ones die young!  Can't seem to get one past 10 years and that is WAAAY too early!

So so precious! sm
She actucally reminds me a lot of my daughter when she was born. I was so happy cause she had the same color of hair as me. It then all fell out and came back in blond.
too precious
He is adorable
Precious... Too many times...
we overlook what "grown-up jobs" mean to our young children.  They want to help, "butt" (how cute) most of all they want to feel you need them as much as they need you.  Thank you for sharing your special time with your daughter and your son I'm most sure appreciates what you are doing he just hasn't expressed that yet.  You will most likely get another "surprise" from him when he has his new room...  You're doing great spoken from another "Mom" who likes to bond....    They won't be this age 4-ever...  cherish it... only happens once....
Mine is precious, BUT...sm
very hyperactive and co-dependent.  He will not go outside by himself and if he realizes that Ruston is not in the house with him, he freaks out trying to find him.  It is almost funny until you see the fear in his little face!
precious pets
Our pets, our friends, are so very, very precious. They love us unconditionally. What a blessing it is to share our lives with our pets. I am so very sorry for what has happened. I will pray for you. All our beloved pets, I optimistically feel, will be joined with us one day.
You are precious. You are correct. I'm with you 100%, Jan. nm

Wish my kids still did things like that. Thye are 15 and 17. Even though they are wonderful ( I coule brag for hours but nobody wants to hear that and I don't blame them) just cherish each and every moment. Like Kenney Chesney says "Don't blink".
Absolutely! They are all so precious!!!

Thanks for the info!

Gary is so precious!

Do you get his name from Spongebob's "cat" (Gary the snail)?

I have 3 precious ones myself, all rescues, 2 Siamese mutts and a Maine Coon mutt!!  Love my boo-boos!

Hel*s Kitchen
Chef Ramsey is a hoot!! I have to agree with you..I doubt I would ever eat anything they made either.

The other night they made them put all the wasted food into plastic containers so they could see what they did. It was sooo gross. LOL.

What I have always wondered...Are the people that you see eating there paid to do that? and do they hear all the commotion in the kitchen?? Especially Ramsey's language.

No matter what...I think the show is great entertainment.
kitchen
I am in the corner of my kitchen - it works out okay as long as everybody is out of the house.
Mowing lawns, mail route, get friends together for a car wash

Deliver pizzas, work at restaurant, retail sales (Christmas coming up)....

Good luck!
