My glasses - LOL

I don't put my contacts in until I'm done working because I'm at that age where I'm getting the presbyopia and I can't see crap on my computer with my contacts. I usually shower at lunch and if I'm going out after, I'll use foundation, powder, black eyeliner and blush. I even do my hair - LOL. I mean, I wash/brush it daily but I'll add some effort to it and actually curl it. I'm bad about haircuts and I need my yearly haircut soon. I wish I had the pic on my computer of me going to my 20th class reunion. I posted it to an Australian pug web site awhile back and they told me I "scrub up really nice". Great bunch of people!
Sounds like you do a lot of work on your face and I'll bet you benefit from it. I need to quit smoking before I start getting the "purse-string lips".

Thanks. I see much better with my lenses than my glasses for sure. I will try that with the
Boston. I used that on them also. It is very bad pollen time around here right now. My car is covered in it.
Get good glasses from...
After my first year of typing, I was also feeling eye strain, etc. My brother told me me to go to the eye doctor and get some glasses specifically for computer use. Not just the cheap reading glasses type. This is the best thing I have ever done in regards to being an MT. I cannot remember the price, just told them I spent approx. 8 hours in front of a computer daily and had eye strain, headaches, etc. No fogging, haziness or anything. They never leave my desk either, just sit right by the computer. Try it.
Nope, just glasses
Nope, just glasses. Guess one day I'll have to break down and go to the doc (been 6 years since last visit).
I only go when I can't see out of my glasses anymore.
Or when I accidentally sit on them and break them.
could be eye strain - might need glasses or new prescription -

1 to 2 more glasses of wine some nights.

Wore contacts, glasses and what have you
for years and years. I was nearsighted, vision was 7 inches in front of my face and then fuzzy. I finally had Lasik but was told I probably would still need glasses for reading afterwards, no problem for me. I go to the dollar store and get whole bunch of the $ glasses and they work just fine for me, all that I need. I just try on until I get comfortable reading and there you go!
Try drinking 8 glasses of water a day...(SM)
I just spoke with a friend whose husband was advised by his doctort to drink a lot of water for his back problem. He did and it worked and he feels better overall. Could be the bones in your feet are dry and building up with calcium.
OP could put fake glasses with nose and mustache on the

PS! - I knew I needed reading-glasses when - sm
my boyfriend & I would sit in restaurants across the table from each other, each of us holding up the menu for the other one to read. (He needed them, too.) The waitress came up and said, "Honey, you need reading glasses!"
I bought me some reading glasses for computer use the other day sm
and I am seeing much better, feeling less headache tension, and not squinting to look at the screen. I love them. However, I have a funny problem I need help with! They keep getting foggy or glazed over. HELP!! I am not a glasses wearer either so this is all totally new to me. It makes no difference if I turn my desktop fan on or not. I clean them off and within a few minutes they are glazed back over again. Anybody got any solutions to this???? I have tried not using them and my eyes go bonko again. Maybe it's a cheap pair of glasses causing it? I bought plain jane cheap as could be until I saw if I could get used to it and it helped or not.
oh yeah, and free glasses with fill-up's
Our cupboards were full of glasses earned for fill-ups! i had forgot about that :)
If my lashes were that long, they'd bump into my glasses and
I've ended the cazillion dirty glasses in the sink every day problem...
My husband and I got tired of the kids coming to the kitchen a bunch of times during the day and each time grabbing a new glass to drink from - even after we asked them to pick a spot on the counter to keep their glass at and rinse it out/wash it after every use. Previously we'd end up with the dishwasher filled on the top level with glasses every day.
I went to Target and found different colored plastic tumblers. I bought a tumbler for everyone in the household. At supper time tonight I put all tumblers on the table and told everyone to pick their favorite color. After this was done they were all told this is now their color to use, and they're solely responsible for their tumbler each day, and are to rinse/wash it as needed throughout the day. I then went to the cabinets and proceeded to pack up all but 4 glasses we have in the cabinet - and those 4 I've moved to the very top shelf. They know that if their tumbler is found outside of the kitchen the problem is solved of "who left the glass on the living room table?" None will be allowed to wonder to bedrooms or they'll lose their tumbler and have nothing to drink from but a small juice glass. If we have company they can use the 4 glasses on the top shelf.
This should work and we'll no longer have dishpan hands!
Thank you! I didn't realize they made computer glasses. Will make an appt. Spit didn't wor
