My dog just chewed up a second freaking headset!

I'm so aggravated. She's seems to know when to make her move! My daughter came home from a slumber party tonight throwing up and I had to quickly take my headphones off to answer the door and get her to the bathroom and because I was hurried, my headset slipped off my desk top and of course my dog saw her opportunity and totally mangled my headset while I was tending to my daughter.
She did the same thing a few weeks ago when my husband cut his hand and I had to rush him to the ER. Again, I had to take off my headset and throw it on my desk when me husband came in from the garage dripping blood. Of course, I get back from the ER to a chewed up headset!
I usually have my favorite headset and spare and now I'm down to none! Now I'll have to go into the office and beg for a new headset until I can order another one, which if you know anything about hospitals, cost centers, and departmental budgets, you know I'm going to have to do a lot of justifying!
I just thought I would rant a little bit! TGIF! My shift is over in two hours!

Maybe he was freaking out about germs
You're sick with a cold or maybe the flu, right? So maybe he's thinking that he is cooking today so you're not getting germs on the food everybody else is going to eat. Then, with germs on his mind, he calls you to the table and you start touching things and he thinks about germs spreading and freaks out. I had a pretty snotty control-freak boyfriend who was also paranoid about germs, and this sounds exactly like something he would do. Not saying its right, just saying its how he justified the whole thing to himself.

I've never had a needle in my mouth, does it really hurt? I hate needles! It's a small cavity and he said it would be done in 15 minutes?!

the $600.00 oak door right off the hinges and then yanked off the storm door and chewed that up too. Needless to say, he became an outdoor dog after that, complete with chain link fencing and 4 inch concrete floor.
When I was a teenager, my Dalmatian chewed
both of the rear tail-lights off my dad's new Lincoln Continental. She also once ate an entire, 6-foot leather leash. Taking her for a walk was like going out with a vacuum-cleaner with legs!
My cat chewed through the cord on mine while sitting on my lap LOL

Although I was pretty much blinded so couldn't see them anyway. HA HA HA

Try putting your headset up in your desk drawer or up on your desk. SM
Make sure there are no cords hanging off your desk. I only had to lose one headset before I learned that that hanging cords just entice cats. The best thing to do is unplug your headset and put them away at the end of the day!
