My dad drinks a lot...or at least I think he still does...

but I am not really sure now because I live so far away...and I miss him terribly and I worry. Sometimes, just from my point of view, I think that we might not fully understand what makes people do what they do and we need to love them anyway. It doesn't make the bad things they have done or the disappointment go away, but it does make me feel better. Also, with the health problems, you might not have that long to see him, so why not take advantage of every minute. He couldn't have been all bad. I'm not saying you should buy him a 12 pack, but maybe try to accept him as an imperfect man. Everyone has faults, even our parents.

Drinks for the team
I brought drinks and snacks for the team and my son got his drink and snack, as well. It is not my fault that you MTs do not understand what is natural and insist on the status quo. My kids are better off for the choices that I made
but I don't like sweet drinks, have sm
always been interested in the enhanced ones, and read the labels. Too sweet for me. This is their Smartwater (same company, Glaceau). It is unflavored, just electrolyte enhanced. I love it.
Mixed drinks.
I want one of those drinks with a little umbrella!

Kids and diet drinks...
My son is having some dental issues and I would like to switch him over to sugar-free drinks...anyone know of any contraindications to an 8 YO consuming artifical sweetners? He doesn't drink many soft drinks, mostly Gatorade and sweet tea, milk and water, but I'd like to put Splenda in his tea instead of sugar. Thanks, y'all!
yeah, the kind that come in drinks. NM
.
Try the Starbucks bottled drinks at various vendors.
Really good and I don't care for coffee at all.
Ok, sounds good, but what about the warm drinks? nm

Oh please, a few drinks occasionally never hurt anyone, and may even cause some 'fun'
gosh forbid! I think those of you with these totally one-sided bad attitudes about alcohol have just had some very bad experiences with alcoholics. Most responsible adults can have a couple of drinks. Give me a break! We're all grownups here.
mixed drinks . summer or winter?

I need recipes for pretty, fruity, fun drinks
or coffee drinks. My sons, their dates, and two other couples of coming to our house tonight after the senior prom. They plan to play Dance, Dance Revolution and watch movies on the big screen. Of course, they asked me about it only an hour ago! I'm happy to have the kids over, but wish I had a little time to plan. I will stay up when they are here and will make them breakfast. I have one of those waffle makers that you see at hotel breakfast buffets, so they will have waffles and other breakfast goodies, but I thought it would be fun to serve them some pretty drinks in some of my fancy glasses that I never use. Nonalcoholic, of course! I think I'd like to make up two pitchers, something fruit-based and something coffee-based.
Does anyone have any good recipes?
Or stand there with a sign *drinks on the blouse* - I mean house.....!? LOL
